第14章

1 「你們心裏不要憂愁；你們信神，也當信我。

2 在我父的家裏，有許多大宅［mansions］。若是沒有，我就早已告訴你們了。我去原是為你們預備地方去。

3 我若去為你們預備了地方，就必再來接你們到我那裏去，我在哪裏，叫你們也在那裏。

4 我往哪裏去，你們知道；那條路，你們也知道［And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know］。」

5 多馬對他說：「主啊，我們不知道你往哪裏去，怎麼知道那條路呢？」

6 耶穌說：「我就是道路、真理、生命；若不藉著我，沒有人能到父那裏去。

7 你們若認識我，也就認識我的父。從今以後，你們認識他，並且已經看見他。」

8 腓力對他說：「求主將父顯給我們看，我們就知足了。」

9 耶穌對他說：「腓力，我與你們同在這樣長久，你還不認識我嗎？人看見了我，就是看見了父；你怎麼說『將父顯給我們看』呢？

10 我在父裏面，父在我裏面，你不信嗎？我對你們所說的話，不是憑著自己說的，乃是住在我裏面的父作他自己的事。

11 你們當信我，我在父裏面，父在我裏面；即或不信，也當因我所作的事信我。

12 我實實在在的告訴你們，我所作的事，信我的人也要作，並且要作比這更大的事，因為我往父那裏去。

13 你們奉我的名無論求甚麼，我必成就，叫父因兒子得榮耀。

14 你們若奉我的名求甚麼，我必成就。」

15 「你們若愛我，就遵守［keep］我的命令。

16 我要求父，父就另外賜給你們一位安慰者［Comforter］，叫他永遠與你們同在。

17 就是真理的靈［Spirit］，乃世人不能接受的；因為不見他，也不認識他。你們卻認識他，因他常與你們同在，也要在你們裏面。

18 我不會使你們得不到安慰［not leave you comfortless］，我必到你們這裏來。

19 還有不多的時候，世人不再看見我，你們卻看見我；因為我活著，你們也要活著。

20 到那日，你們就知道我在我［my］父裏面，你們在我裏面，我也在你們裏面。

21 有了我的命令又遵守的，這人就是愛我的；愛我的必蒙我父愛他，我也要愛他，並且要向他顯現。」

22 猶大，不是加略人猶大，對［unto］耶穌說：「主啊，你怎麼［how is it that thou］要向我們顯現，不向世人顯現呢？」

23 耶穌回答說：「人若愛我，就必遵守我的道；我父也必愛他，並且我們要到他那裏去，與他同住。

24 不愛我的人就不遵守我所說的［sayings］；你們所聽見的道不是我的，乃是差我來之父的道。」

25 「我還與你們同在［present］的時候，已將這些話對你們說了。

26 但安慰者［Comforter］，就是父因我的名所要差來的聖靈，他要將一切的事指教你們，並且要叫你們想起我對你們所說的一切話。

27 我留下平安給你們；我將我的平安賜給你們。我所賜的，不像世人所賜的。你們心裏不要憂愁，也不要膽怯。

28 你們聽見我對你們說了，我去還要到你們這裏來。你們若愛我，因我說［because I said］我到父那裏去，就必喜樂，因為我［my］父是比我大的。

29 現在事情還沒有成就，我預先告訴你們，叫你們到事情成就的時候就可以信。

30 以後我不再和你們多說話，因為這世界的王將到。他在我裏面是毫無所有；

31 但要叫世人知道我愛父，並且父怎樣吩咐我，我就怎樣行。起來，我們走吧。」

Chapter 14

1 Let not your5216 heart2588 be troubled:5015 you believe4100 in God,2316 believe4100 also2532 in me.

2 In my Father's3962 house3614 are many4183 mansions:3438 if1490 it were not so, I would have told2036 you. I go4198 to prepare2090 a place5117 for you.

3 And if1437 I go4198 and prepare2090 a place5117 for you, I will come2064 again,3825 and receive3880 you to myself;1683 that where3699 I am,1510 there you may be also.2532

4 And where3699 I go5217 you know,1492 and the way3598 you know.1492

5 Thomas2381 said3004 to him, Lord,2962 we know1492 not where4226 you go;5217 and how4459 can1410 we know the way?3598

6 Jesus2424 said3004 to him, I am1510 the way,3598 the truth,225 and the life:2222 no3762 man3762 comes2064 to the Father,3962 but by me.

7 If1487 you had known1097 me, you should have known1097 my Father3962 also:2532 and from now on737 you know1097 him, and have seen3708 him.

8 Philip5376 said3004 to him, Lord,2962 show1166 us the Father,3962 and it suffises714 us.

9 Jesus2424 said3004 to him, Have I been1510 so5118 long5118 time5550 with you, and yet have you not known1097 me, Philip?5376 he that has seen3708 me has seen3708 the Father;3962 and how4459 say3004 you then, Show1166 us the Father?3962

10 Believe4100 you not that I am in the Father,3962 and the Father3962 in me? the words4487 that I speak2980 to you I speak2980 not of myself:1683 but the Father3962 that dwells3306 in me, he does4160 the works.2041

11 Believe4100 me that I am in the Father,3962 and the Father3962 in me: or1161 else1490 believe4100 me for the very works'2041 sake.

12 Truly,281 truly,281 I say3004 to you, He that believes4100 on1519 me, the works2041 that I do4160 shall he do4160 also;2548 and greater3187 works2041 than these5130 shall he do;4160 because3754 I go4198 to my Father.3962

22 Judas2455 said3004 to him, not Iscariot,2469 Lord,2962 how5101 is it that you will manifest1718 yourself4572 to us, and not to the world?2889

23 Jesus2424 answered611 and said2036 to him, If1437 a man5100 love25 me, he will keep5083 my words:3056 and my Father3962 will love25 him, and we will come2064 to him, and make4160 our stayed3438 with him.

24 He that loves25 me not keeps5083 not my sayings:3056 and the word3056 which3739 you hear191 is not mine,1699 but the Father's3962 which3588 sent3992 me.

25 These5023 things have I spoken2980 to you, being yet present3306 with you.

26 But the Comforter,3875 which is the Holy40 Ghost,4151 whom3739 the Father3962 will send3992 in my name,3686 he shall teach1321 you all3956 things, and bring5279 all3956 things to your5209 remembrance,5279 whatever3739 I have said2036 to you.

27 Peace1515 I leave863 with you, my peace1515 I give1325 to you: not as the world2889 gives,1325 give1325 I to you. Let not your5216 heart2588 be troubled,5015 neither3366 let it be afraid.1168

28 You have heard191 how3754 I said2036 to you, I go5217 away,5217 and come2064 again to you. If1487 you loved25 me, you would rejoice,5463 because3754 I said,2036 I go4198 to the Father:3962 for my Father3962 is greater3187 than I.

29 And now3568 I have told2046 you before4250 it come1096 to pass, that, when3752 it is come1096 to pass, you might believe.4100

30 Hereafter2089 I will not talk2980 much4183 with you: for the prince758 of this3588 world2889 comes,2064 and has2192 nothing3762 in me.

31 But that the world2889 may know1097 that I love25 the Father;3962 and as the Father3962 gave1781 me commandment,1781 even so3779 I do.4160 Arise,1453 let us go71 hence.1782

1 「你們心裏不要憂愁；你們信神，也當信我。

5 多馬對他說：「主啊，我們不知道你往哪裏去，怎麼知道那條路呢？」

6 耶穌說：「我就是道路、真理、生命；若不藉著我，沒有人能到父那裏去。

7 你們若認識我，也就認識我的父。從今以後，你們認識他，並且已經看見他。」

8 腓力對他說：「求主將父顯給我們看，我們就知足了。」

11 你們當信我，我在父裏面，父在我裏面；即或不信，也當因我所作的事信我。

12 我實實在在的告訴你們，我所作的事，信我的人也要作，並且要作比這更大的事，因為我往父那裏去。

13 你們奉我的名無論求甚麼，我必成就，叫父因兒子得榮耀。

13 And whatever3748 302 you shall ask154 in my name,3686 that will I do,4160 that the Father3962 may be glorified1392 in the Son.5207

14 你們若奉我的名求甚麼，我必成就。」

15 「你們若愛我，就遵守［keep］我的命令。

16 我要求父，父就另外賜給你們一位安慰者［Comforter］，叫他永遠與你們同在。

17 就是真理的靈［Spirit］，乃世人不能接受的；因為不見他，也不認識他。你們卻認識他，因他常與你們同在，也要在你們裏面。

17 Even the Spirit4151 of truth;225 whom3739 the world2889 cannot3756 1410 receive,2983 because3754 it sees2334 him not, neither3761 knows1097 him: but you know1492 him; for he dwells3306 with you, and shall be in you.

18 我不會使你們得不到安慰［not leave you comfortless］，我必到你們這裏來。

19 還有不多的時候，世人不再看見我，你們卻看見我；因為我活著，你們也要活著。

19 Yet2089 a little3397 while, and the world2889 sees2334 me no3765 more;2089 but you see2334 me: because3754 I live,2198 you shall live2198 also.2532

20 到那日，你們就知道我在我［my］父裏面，你們在我裏面，我也在你們裏面。

20 At1722 that day2250 you shall know1097 that I am in my Father,3962 and you in me, and I in you.

21 有了我的命令又遵守的，這人就是愛我的；愛我的必蒙我父愛他，我也要愛他，並且要向他顯現。」

21 He that has2192 my commandments,1785 and keeps5083 them, he it is that loves25 me: and he that loves25 me shall be loved25 of my Father,3962 and I will love25 him, and will manifest1718 myself1683 to him.

27 我留下平安給你們；我將我的平安賜給你們。我所賜的，不像世人所賜的。你們心裏不要憂愁，也不要膽怯。
