Kapitel 30

1 Da nun David1732 des dritten7992 Tages3117 kam gen Ziklag6860 mit seinen Männern582, waren935 die Amalekiter6003 hereingefallen zum Mittag5045 und zu Ziklag6860 und hatten Ziklag6860 geschlagen5221 und mit Feuer784 verbrannt8313;

2 und hatten die Weiber802 draus weggeführet, beide klein6996 und groß1419; sie hatten aber niemand376 getötet4191, sondern weggetrieben7617 und waren3212 dahin5090 ihres Weges1870.

3 Da nun David1732 samt seinen Männern582 zur Stadt5892 kam und sah, daß sie mit Feuer784 verbrannt8313 war7617, und ihre Weiber802, Söhne1121 und Töchter1323 gefangen waren935,

4 hub David1732 und das Volk5971, das bei ihm war, ihre Stimme6963 auf5375 und weineten, bis sie1058 nicht mehr3581 weinen1058 konnten.

5 Denn Davids1732 zwei8147 Weiber802 waren auch gefangen7617, Ahinoam293, die Jesreelitin3159, und Abigail26, Nabals Weib802, des Karmeliten3761.

6 Und559 David1732 war sehr3966 geängstet3334; denn das Volk5971 wollte ihn steinigen5619, denn des ganzen Volks5971 See LE5315 war unwillig4843, ein376 jeglicher über seine Söhne1121 und Töchter1323. David1732 aber stärkte2388 sich in dem HErrn3068, seinem GOtt430

7 und54 sprach559 zu Abjathar54, dem Priester, Ahimelechs288 Sohn1121: Bringe5066 mir her5066 den Leibrock646. Und3548 da Abjathar den Leibrock646 zu David1732 gebracht hatte,

8 fragte7592 David1732 den HErrn3068 und sprach559: Soll ich den Kriegsleuten1416 nachjagen7291 und werde ich sie5381 ergreifen5381? Er sprach559: Jage7291 ihnen nach310, du wirst sie ergreifen5381 und Rettung tun.

9 Da zog3212 David1732 hin und3967 die sechshundert8337 Mann376, die bei ihm waren935; und da sie kamen an den Bach5158 Besor1308, blieben etliche3498 stehen5975.

10 David1732 aber und3967 die vierhundert702 Mann376 jagten nach7291; die zweihundert3967 Mann aber, die stehen5975 blieben, waren zu müde6296, über den Bach5158 Besor1308 zu gehen5674.

11 Und sie fanden4672 einen ägyptischen4713 Mann auf3947 dem Felde7704, den führeten sie zu David1732 und gaben5414 ihm Brot3899, daß er aß398, und tränkten8248 ihn mit Wasser4325;

12 und gaben5414 ihm ein Stück6400 Feigen und zwei8147 Stück Rosinen6778. Und da er3899 gegessen398 hatte, kam sein Geist7307 wieder7725 zu ihm; denn er hatte in dreien7969 Tagen3117 und dreien7969 Nächten3915 nichts gegessen398 und kein Wasser4325 getrunken8354.

13 David1732 sprach559 zu ihm: Wes bist du? und woher bist du? Er sprach559: Ich bin ein ägyptischer4713 Knabe5288, eines Amalekiters6003 Knecht5650; und mein Herr113 hat mich verlassen5800, denn ich war krank2470 vor dreien7969 Tagen3117.

14 Wir sind hereingefallen zum Mittag5045 Krethi und auf Juda3063 und zum Mittag5045 Kaleb3612 und haben Ziklag6860 mit Feuer784 verbrannt8313.

15 David1732 sprach559 zu5462 ihm: Willst du mich hinabführen3381 zu diesen Kriegsleuten1416? Er sprach559: Schwöre7650 mir bei GOtt430, daß518 du mich nicht tötest4191 noch in meines Herrn113 Hand3027 überantwortest, so will ich dich hinabführen3381 zu diesen Kriegsleuten1416.

16 Und776 er führete sie3947 hinab3381. Und siehe, sie hatten sich zerstreuet auf6440 der ganzen Erde776, aßen398 und tranken8354 und feierten2287 über all dem großen1419 Raub7998, den sie genommen hatten aus der Philister6430 und Judas Lande776.

17 Und3967 David1732 schlug5221 sie von dem Morgen5399 an bis an den Abend6153 gegen den andern4283 Tag, daß ihrer keiner376 entrann4422, ohne vierhundert702 Jünglinge5288, die fielen auf die Kamele1581 und flohen5127.

18 Also errettete5337 David1732 alles, was die Amalekiter6002 genommen hatten3947, und1732 seine zwei8147 Weiber802;

19 und fehlete an keinem, weder4480 klein6996 noch groß1419, noch Söhne1121, noch Töchter1323, noch Raub7998, noch alles, das sie genommen hatten: David1732 brachte3947 es alles wieder7725.

20 Und David1732 nahm3947 die Schafe6629 und Rinder1241 und trieb5090 das1931 Volk vor6440 ihm her; und sie sprachen559: Das ist4735 Davids1732 Raub7998.

21 Und da310 David1732 zu den zweihundert3967 Männern582 kam, die zu müde gewesen6296, David1732 nachzufolgen, und am Bach5158 Besor1308 geblieben waren3212, gingen935 sie heraus3318, David1732 entgegen7125 und dem Volk5971, das mit ihm war3427. Und David1732 trat5066 zum Volk5971 und grüßte7592 sie freundlich7965.

22 Da antworteten6030, was böse7451 und376 lose1100 Leute waren unter denen, die mit David1732 gezogen waren, und sprachen: Weil sie nicht5337 mit uns7998 gezogen sind1980, soll man559 ihnen nichts geben5414 von dem Raube, den wir582 errettet haben1980, sondern ein376 jeglicher führe sein5090 Weib802 und seine Kinder1121 und gehe3212 hin.

23 Da sprach559 David1732: Ihr sollt8104 nicht so tun6213, meine Brüder251, mit dem, das uns der HErr3068 gegeben5414 hat, und hat uns behütet und diese Kriegsleute1416, die wider uns kommen waren935, in unsere Hände3027 gegeben5414.

24 Wer sollte euch darinnen gehorchen? Wie das1697 Teil2506 derjenigen, die3427 in Streit4421 hinabgezogen sind3381, so soll auch sein das Teil2506 derjenigen, die bei dem Geräte3627 geblieben sind3381, und soll gleich3162 geteilet werden8085.

25 Das ist7760 seit der Zeit3117 und forthin4605 in Israel3478 eine Sitte und Recht2706 worden bis auf diesen Tag3117.

26 Und da David1732 gen Ziklag6860 kam935, sandte7971 er des Raubes den Ältesten2205 in Juda3063, seinen7453 Freunden, und sprach559: Siehe, da habt ihr den Segen1293 aus dem Raub7998 der Feinde341 des HErrn3068;

27 nämlich denen zu834 Bethel, denen zu Ramoth7418 am Mittage, denen zu Jathir,

28 denen zu Aroer6177, denen zu Siphamoth8224, denen zu Esthemoa851,

29 denen zu Rachal7403, denen in Städten5892 der Jerahmeeliter3397, denen in Städten5892 der Keniter7017,

30 denen zu Horma2767, denen zu Bor-Asan3565, denen zu Athach6269,

31 denen zu Hebron2275 und allen Orten, da4725 David1732 gewandelt hatte1980 mit seinen Männern582.

Chapter 30

1 And it came1961 to pass, when David1732 and his men582 were come935 to Ziklag6860 on the third7992 day,3117 that the Amalekites6003 had invaded6584 the south,5045 and Ziklag,6860 and smitten5221 Ziklag,6860 and burned8313 it with fire;784

2 And had taken the women802 captives,7617 that were therein: they slew4191 not any,376 either great1419 or small,6996 but carried5090 them away, and went3212 on their way.1870

3 So David1732 and his men582 came935 to the city,5892 and, behold,2009 it was burned8313 with fire;784 and their wives,802 and their sons,1121 and their daughters,1323 were taken captives.7617

4 Then David1732 and the people5971 that were with him lifted5375 up their voice6963 and wept,1058 until5704 834 they had no369 more power3581 to weep.1058

5 And David's1732 two8147 wives802 were taken captives,7617 Ahinoam293 the Jezreelitess,3159 and Abigail26 the wife802 of Nabal5037 the Carmelite.3761

6 And David1732 was greatly3966 distressed;3334 for the people5971 spoke559 of stoning5619 him, because3588 the soul5315 of all3605 the people5971 was grieved,4784 every man376 for his sons1121 and for his daughters:1323 but David1732 encouraged2388 himself in the LORD3068 his God.430

7 And David1732 said559 to Abiathar54 the priest,3548 Ahimelech's288 son,1121 I pray4994 you, bring5066 me here5066 the ephod.646 And Abiathar54 brought5066 thither the ephod646 to David.1732

8 And David1732 inquired7592 at the LORD,3068 saying,559 Shall I pursue7291 after310 this2088 troop?1416 shall I overtake5381 them? And he answered559 him, Pursue:7291 for you shall surely overtake5381 them, and without fail recover5337 all.

9 So David1732 went,3212 he and the six8337 hundred3967 men376 that were with him, and came935 to the brook5158 Besor,1308 where those that were left3498 behind3498 stayed.5975

10 But David1732 pursued,7291 he and four702 hundred3697 men:376 for two hundred3967 stayed5975 behind,5975 which834 were so faint6296 that they could not go5674 over5674 the brook5158 Besor.1308

11 And they found4672 an Egyptian4713 in the field,7704 and brought3947 him to David,1732 and gave5414 him bread,3899 and he did eat;398 and they made him drink8248 water;4325

12 And they gave5414 him a piece6400 of a cake1690 of figs, and two8147 clusters6778 of raisins:6778 and when he had eaten,398 his spirit7307 came7725 again7725 to him: for he had eaten398 no3808 bread,3899 nor3808 drunk8354 any water,4325 three7969 days3117 and three7969 nights.3915

13 And David1732 said559 to him, To whom4310 belong you? and from where335 2088 are you? And he said,559 I am a young5288 man of Egypt,4713 servant5650 to an Amalekite;6003 and my master113 left5800 me, because3588 three7969 days ago I fell sick.2470

14 We made an invasion6584 on the south5045 of the Cherethites,3774 and on the coast which834 belongs to Judah,3063 and on the south5045 of Caleb;3612 and we burned8313 Ziklag6860 with fire.784

15 And David1732 said559 to him, Can you bring3381 me down3381 to this2088 company?1416 And he said,559 Swear7650 to me by God,430 that you will neither518 kill4191 me, nor518 deliver5462 me into the hands3027 of my master,113 and I will bring3381 you down3381 to this2088 company.1416

16 And when he had brought3381 him down,3381 behold,2009 they were spread5203 abroad5203 on all3605 the earth,776 eating398 and drinking,8354 and dancing,2287 because of all3605 the great1419 spoil7998 that they had taken3947 out of the land776 of the Philistines,6430 and out of the land776 of Judah.3063

17 And David1732 smote5221 them from the twilight5399 even to the evening6153 of the next4283 day:4283 and there escaped4422 not a man376 of them, save3588 518 four702 hundred3967 young5288 men,376 which834 rode7392 on camels,1581 and fled.5127

18 And David1732 recovered5337 all3605 that the Amalekites6003 had carried3947 away: and David1732 rescued5337 his two8147 wives.802

19 And there was nothing3808 lacking5737 to them, neither4480 small6996 nor5703 great,1419 neither4480 sons1121 nor5703 daughters,1323 neither4480 spoil,7998 nor5703 any3605 thing that they had taken3947 to them: David1732 recovered7725 all.3605

20 And David1732 took3947 all3605 the flocks6629 and the herds,1241 which they drove5090 before6440 those1931 other cattle,4735 and said,559 This2088 is David's1732 spoil.7998

21 And David1732 came935 to the two hundred3967 men,582 which834 were so faint6296 that they could not follow3212 310 David,1732 whom they had made also to abide3427 at the brook5158 Besor:1308 and they went3318 forth3318 to meet7125 David,1732 and to meet7125 the people5971 that were with him: and when David1732 came5066 near5066 to the people,5971 he saluted7592 7965 them.

22 Then answered6030 all3605 the wicked7451 men376 and men of Belial,1100 of those that went1980 with David,1732 and said,559 Because3282 they went1980 not with us, we will not give5414 them ought of the spoil7998 that we have recovered,5337 save3588 518 to every man376 his wife802 and his children,1121 that they may lead5090 them away, and depart.3212

23 Then said559 David,1732 You shall not do6213 so,3651 my brothers,251 with that which834 the LORD3068 has given5414 us, who has preserved8104 us, and delivered5414 the company1416 that came935 against5921 us into our hand.3027

24 For who4310 will listen8085 to you in this2088 matter?1697 but as his part2506 is that goes3381 down3381 to the battle,4421 so shall his part2506 be that tarries3427 by the stuff:3627 they shall part2505 alike.3162

25 And it was so from that day3117 forward,4605 that he made7760 it a statute2706 and an ordinance4941 for Israel3478 to this2088 day.3117

26 And when David1732 came935 to Ziklag,6860 he sent7971 of the spoil7998 to the elders2205 of Judah,3063 even to his friends,7453 saying,559 Behold2009 a present1293 for you of the spoil7998 of the enemies341 of the LORD;3068

27 To them which834 were in Bethel,1008 and to them which834 were in south5045 Ramoth,7418 and to them which834 were in Jattir,3492

28 And to them which834 were in Aroer,6177 and to them which834 were in Siphmoth,8224 and to them which834 were in Eshtemoa,851

29 And to them which834 were in Rachal,7403 and to them which834 were in the cities5892 of the Jerahmeelites,3397 and to them which834 were in the cities5892 of the Kenites,7017

30 And to them which834 were in Hormah,2767 and to them which834 were in Chorashan,3565 and to them which834 were in Athach,6269

31 And to them which were in Hebron,2275 and to all3605 the places4725 where834 8033 David1732 himself and his men582 were wont1980 to haunt.1980

7 und54 sprach559 zu Abjathar54, dem Priester, Ahimelechs288 Sohn1121: Bringe5066 mir her5066 den Leibrock646. Und3548 da Abjathar den Leibrock646 zu David1732 gebracht hatte,

7 And David1732 said559 to Abiathar54 the priest,3548 Ahimelech's288 son,1121 I pray4994 you, bring5066 me here5066 the ephod.646 And Abiathar54 brought5066 thither the ephod646 to David.1732

8 fragte7592 David1732 den HErrn3068 und sprach559: Soll ich den Kriegsleuten1416 nachjagen7291 und werde ich sie5381 ergreifen5381? Er sprach559: Jage7291 ihnen nach310, du wirst sie ergreifen5381 und Rettung tun.

13 David1732 sprach559 zu ihm: Wes bist du? und woher bist du? Er sprach559: Ich bin ein ägyptischer4713 Knabe5288, eines Amalekiters6003 Knecht5650; und mein Herr113 hat mich verlassen5800, denn ich war krank2470 vor dreien7969 Tagen3117.

15 David1732 sprach559 zu5462 ihm: Willst du mich hinabführen3381 zu diesen Kriegsleuten1416? Er sprach559: Schwöre7650 mir bei GOtt430, daß518 du mich nicht tötest4191 noch in meines Herrn113 Hand3027 überantwortest, so will ich dich hinabführen3381 zu diesen Kriegsleuten1416.

16 Und776 er führete sie3947 hinab3381. Und siehe, sie hatten sich zerstreuet auf6440 der ganzen Erde776, aßen398 und tranken8354 und feierten2287 über all dem großen1419 Raub7998, den sie genommen hatten aus der Philister6430 und Judas Lande776.

17 Und3967 David1732 schlug5221 sie von dem Morgen5399 an bis an den Abend6153 gegen den andern4283 Tag, daß ihrer keiner376 entrann4422, ohne vierhundert702 Jünglinge5288, die fielen auf die Kamele1581 und flohen5127.

18 Also errettete5337 David1732 alles, was die Amalekiter6002 genommen hatten3947, und1732 seine zwei8147 Weiber802;

18 And David1732 recovered5337 all3605 that the Amalekites6003 had carried3947 away: and David1732 rescued5337 his two8147 wives.802

19 und fehlete an keinem, weder4480 klein6996 noch groß1419, noch Söhne1121, noch Töchter1323, noch Raub7998, noch alles, das sie genommen hatten: David1732 brachte3947 es alles wieder7725.

20 Und David1732 nahm3947 die Schafe6629 und Rinder1241 und trieb5090 das1931 Volk vor6440 ihm her; und sie sprachen559: Das ist4735 Davids1732 Raub7998.

20 And David1732 took3947 all3605 the flocks6629 and the herds,1241 which they drove5090 before6440 those1931 other cattle,4735 and said,559 This2088 is David's1732 spoil.7998

21 Und da310 David1732 zu den zweihundert3967 Männern582 kam, die zu müde gewesen6296, David1732 nachzufolgen, und am Bach5158 Besor1308 geblieben waren3212, gingen935 sie heraus3318, David1732 entgegen7125 und dem Volk5971, das mit ihm war3427. Und David1732 trat5066 zum Volk5971 und grüßte7592 sie freundlich7965.

22 Da antworteten6030, was böse7451 und376 lose1100 Leute waren unter denen, die mit David1732 gezogen waren, und sprachen: Weil sie nicht5337 mit uns7998 gezogen sind1980, soll man559 ihnen nichts geben5414 von dem Raube, den wir582 errettet haben1980, sondern ein376 jeglicher führe sein5090 Weib802 und seine Kinder1121 und gehe3212 hin.

23 Da sprach559 David1732: Ihr sollt8104 nicht so tun6213, meine Brüder251, mit dem, das uns der HErr3068 gegeben5414 hat, und hat uns behütet und diese Kriegsleute1416, die wider uns kommen waren935, in unsere Hände3027 gegeben5414.

23 Then said559 David,1732 You shall not do6213 so,3651 my brothers,251 with that which834 the LORD3068 has given5414 us, who has preserved8104 us, and delivered5414 the company1416 that came935 against5921 us into our hand.3027

24 Wer sollte euch darinnen gehorchen? Wie das1697 Teil2506 derjenigen, die3427 in Streit4421 hinabgezogen sind3381, so soll auch sein das Teil2506 derjenigen, die bei dem Geräte3627 geblieben sind3381, und soll gleich3162 geteilet werden8085.

24 For who4310 will listen8085 to you in this2088 matter?1697 but as his part2506 is that goes3381 down3381 to the battle,4421 so shall his part2506 be that tarries3427 by the stuff:3627 they shall part2505 alike.3162

25 Das ist7760 seit der Zeit3117 und forthin4605 in Israel3478 eine Sitte und Recht2706 worden bis auf diesen Tag3117.

25 And it was so from that day3117 forward,4605 that he made7760 it a statute2706 and an ordinance4941 for Israel3478 to this2088 day.3117

26 Und da David1732 gen Ziklag6860 kam935, sandte7971 er des Raubes den Ältesten2205 in Juda3063, seinen7453 Freunden, und sprach559: Siehe, da habt ihr den Segen1293 aus dem Raub7998 der Feinde341 des HErrn3068;

29 denen zu Rachal7403, denen in Städten5892 der Jerahmeeliter3397, denen in Städten5892 der Keniter7017,

29 And to them which834 were in Rachal,7403 and to them which834 were in the cities5892 of the Jerahmeelites,3397 and to them which834 were in the cities5892 of the Kenites,7017
