2 And if1487 any5100 man think1380 that he knows1492 any5100 thing, he knows1097 nothing3762 yet3764 as he ought1163 to know.1097

2 So aber1161 sich jemand1536 dünken1380 lässet, er wisse1097 etwas5100, der weiß1492 noch3764 nichts3762, wie2531 er wissen1097 soll1163.

3 But if1487 any5100 man love25 God,2316 the same3778 is known1097 of him.
|
3 So aber1161 jemand1536 GOtt2316 liebet25, derselbige ist von5259 ihm846 erkannt1097.

4 As concerning4012 therefore3767 the eating1035 of those3588 things that are offered1494 in sacrifice1494 to idols,1494 we know1492 that an idol1497 is nothing3762 in the world,2889 and that there is none3762 other2087 God2316 but one.1520

4 So wissen1492 wir nun3767 von4012 der1520 Speise1035 des Götzenopfers1494, daß3754 ein Götze1497 nichts3762 in1722 der Welt2889 sei, und2532 daß3754 kein3762 anderer2087 GOtt2316 sei ohne1508 der einige.

5 For though1512 there be that are called3004 gods,2316 whether1535 in heaven3772 or1535 in earth,1093 (as there be gods2316 many,4183 and lords2962 many,4183)

5 Und1063 wiewohl es sind1526, die Götter2316 genannt3004 werden1526, es sei1535, im1722 Himmel3772 oder auf1909 Erden1093, sintemal5618 es sind1535 viel4183 Götter2316 und2532 viel4183 Herren2962:

6 But to us there is but one1520 God,2316 the Father,3962 of whom3739 are all3956 things, and we in him; and one1520 Lord2962 Jesus2424 Christ,5547 by whom3739 are all3956 things, and we by him.

6 so2532 haben wir2254 doch nur einen1520 GOtt2316, den3739 Vater3962, von1537 welchem3739 alle3956 Dinge sind und235 wir2249 in1519 ihm846, und2532 einen1520 HErrn2962, JEsum2424 Christum5547, durch1223 welchen alle3956 Dinge sind und2532 wir2249 durch1223 ihn846.

7 However,235 there is not in every3956 man3956 that knowledge:1108 for some5100 with conscience4893 of the idol1497 to this737 hour737 eat2068 it as a thing offered1494 to an idol;1494 and their conscience4893 being5607 weak772 is defiled.3435

7 Es hat1722 aber1161 nicht3756 jedermann das3956 Wissen1108. Denn etliche5100 machen sich noch2193 ein Gewissen4893 über dem Götzen1497 und235 essen2068 es für5613 Götzenopfer1494; damit wird3435 ihr846 Gewissen4893, weil es so2532 schwach772 ist5607, beflecket.

8 But meat1033 commends3936 us not to God:2316 for neither,3777 if1437 we eat,5315 are we the better;4052 neither,3777 if1437 we eat5315 not, are we the worse.5302

8 Aber1161 die Speise1033 fördert uns2248 nicht3756 vor GOtt2316. Essen5315 wir, so1437 werden3936 wir darum1063 nicht3777 besser sein; essen5315 wir nicht3777, so3362 werden4052 wir darum nichts weniger sein.

9 But take heed991 lest3381 by any3381 means4458 this3778 liberty1849 of your's5216 become1096 a stumbling block4348 to them that are weak.770

9 Sehet991 aber1161 zu, daß3381 diese3778 eure5216 Freiheit1849 nicht gerate1096 zu einem Anstoß4348 der Schwachen770.

10 For if1437 any5100 man see1492 you which3588 have2192 knowledge1108 sit2621 at2621 meat in the idol's1493 temple, shall not the conscience4893 of him which is weak772 be emboldened3618 to eat2068 those3588 things which are offered1494 to idols;1494

10 Denn1063 so1437 dich4571, der du die3588 Erkenntnis1108 hast, jemand5100 sähe zu1722 Tische sitzen2621 im Götzenhause1493, wird3618 nicht3780 sein Gewissen4893 dieweil er846 schwach772 ist2192, verursacht, das1492 Götzenopfer1494 zu1519 essen2068?

11 And through1909 your knowledge1108 shall the weak770 brother80 perish,622 for whom3739 Christ5547 died?599

11 Und2532 wird also über1909 deiner4674 Erkenntnis1108 der3739 schwache770 Bruder80 umkommen, um622 welches willen1223 doch Christus5547 gestorben599 ist622.

12 But when you sin264 so3779 against1519 the brothers,80 and wound5180 their weak770 conscience,4893 you sin264 against1519 Christ.5547
|
12 Wenn ihr846 aber1161 also sündiget264 an1519 den Brüdern80 und2532 schlaget ihr schwaches770 Gewissen4893, so3779 sündiget264 ihr an1519 Christo5547.

13 Why,1355 if1487 meat1033 make4624 my brother80 to offend,4624 I will eat5315 no3364 flesh2907 while the world165 stands, lest2443 3361 I make4624 my brother80 to offend.4624

13 Darum1355, so1487 die Speise1033 meinen3450 Bruder80 ärgert4624, wollte ich nimmermehr Fleisch2907 essen5315, auf daß3363 ich meinen3450 Bruder80 nicht3364 ärgerte.
