1 NOW when all this was finished, all Israel who were present went out to the cities of Judah, and broke the images in pieces and cut down the leopard statues and demolished the shrines and the altars that were in Judah and Benjamin and in Ephraim and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then the Israelites returned, every man to his possession; and they entered in peace into their own cities. |

2 And Hezekiah appointed the times of serving of the priests and the Levites according to their divisions, every man according to his service, the priests and the Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister and to give thanks and to praise in the gates of the temple of the LORD. |
|
3 And the king gave of his own substance oxen for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths and for the new moons and for the set feasts, as it is written in the law of the LORD. |
|
4 Moreover he commanded the people who dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion due to the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the LORD. |
|
5 And as soon as the commandment was published in Israel, they brought the first fruits of grain, wine, oil, and of their cattle, and of the produce of the field; and the tithe of all things they brought in abundantly. |
|
6 And the children of Israel and Judah who dwelt in the cities of Judah also brought in gifts and offered them to the LORD their God. And they brought in tithes upon tithes of grain, of wine, and of their cattle, and of the produce of the field. They brought the tithes and consecrated them to the LORD their God. |
|
7 In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the tithe supplies, and in the seventh month Hezekiah took it and distributed it among the priests and the Levites. |
|
8 And when Hezekiah and the princes saw that the tithe of the priests was so abundant, they blessed the LORD and prayed for Israel. |
|
9 Then Hezekiah prayed for the priests and for the Levites concerning the abundance of the tithe. |
|
10 And he called for Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok and said to him, This tithe is ready for you, to be eaten, because it has been brought into the house of the LORD, now you can eat and be filled, and what is left of it, give it to the poor and to the fatherless, for the LORD has blessed his people and has given them this abundance. And what is left, give it to all the people of Israel. |

11 Then Hezekiah commanded that storehouses be prepared in the house of the LORD; and they prepared them, |
|
12 And they brought in the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully; over them Cononiah the Levite was overseer and Shimei his brother was the next. |
|
13 And Nehiel, Uzziah, Nahath, Ashail, Jerimoth, Jozabar, Eliel, Ismachiah, Matah, Benaiah, and Shemiah his brother were overseers under the hand of Cononiah, at the command of Hezekiah the king and Azariah the ruler of the house of the LORD. |
|
14 And Kariah the son of Imnah the Levite, the porter of the east gate, was over the freewill offerings of the LORD and over the most holy things. |
|
15 And next to him were Eden, Benjamin, Jeshua, Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah, in the cities of the priests, in their set office, to distribute portions to their brethren, to the great and small alike; |
|
16 Besides that which is due to the males from three years old and upward, even to every one who entered into the house of the LORD, their daily portion for their service in their duties according to their divisions; |
|
17 And oil and wine were given to the priests and the Levites according to the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, in their charges by their divisions; |
|
18 And oil was given for their lanterns, to their wives, their sons, and their daughters, and to all the congregation of Israel, for in their set office they sanctified themselves faithfully. |
|
19 For the sons of Aaron the priest were holy, their flesh was holy, and they never touched women; and they went about in every village and suburb, men whose names were well known, to give portions to all the males among the priests and to all that were reckoned by the genealogies among the Levites. |
|
20 And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and he did that which was good and right, and walked in truth before the LORD. |
|
21 And in every work that he began to do in the house of the LORD, and in the law and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart and prospered. |

1 По окончании всего сего, пошли все Израильтяне, находившиеся в городах Иудейских, и разбили статуи, срубили изображения Астарты, и разрушили высоты и жертвенники во всей Иудее, в земле Вениаминовой, Ефремовой и Манассииной до конца. И потом возвратились все сыны Израилевы, каждый в свое владение, в свои города. |

2 И поставил Езекия череды священников и левитов по их распределению, каждого при своем деле священническом или левитском, при всесожжении, при благодарственных жертвах, для службы, для хваления и славословия к воротам стана Господа. |
|

|
4 И народу, живущему в Иерусалиме, он приказал давать часть священникам и левитам, чтоб они были тверды в законе Господа. |
|
5 Когда вышло приказание, тогда сыны Израилевы нанесли множество начатков хлеба, вина, деревянного масла, и меду, и всяких произведений земли, десятины из всего, нанесли множество. |
|
6 Израильтяне и Иудеи, живущие по городам Иудейским, также представили десятину из крупного и мелкого скота, и десятину пожертвований, посвященных Господу, Богу своему, и наклали груды. |
|
7 В третий месяц начали класть груды, и в седьмой месяц кончили. |
|
8 И пришли Езекия и князья, и увидели груды, и благословили Господа и народ Его Израиля. |
|
9 |
|
10 И отвечал ему первосвященник Азария из дома Цадокова, и сказал: с того времени, как начали носить приношения в дом Господа, ели досыта, и осталось множество; потому что Господь благословил народ Свой: из оставшегося составилось такое множество. |
|
11 И приказал Езекия приготовить комнаты при храме Господа; и приготовили. |
|
12 И принесли туда приношения, и десятины и пожертвования со всею точностью. Главным смотрителем при них Ханания - левит, а Шимей - брат его, вторым. |
|
13 Иехиил, Азазия, Нахаф, Асаил, Иеримоф, Иозавад, Елиил, Исмахия, Махаф и Бенаия были смотрителями под рукою Ханании и брата его Шимея, по распоряжению царя Езекии и Азарии - главного в доме Божием. |
|
14 |
|
15 И при нем Еден, Миниамин, Иисус, Шемаия, Амария и Шехания, в городах священнических, действовавшие на веру при раздаче братьям своим по чередам, как большому, так и малому. |
|
16 Сверх списка их, всем мужеского пола от трех лет и выше, всем ходящим в дом Господа поденно для служения своего, по местам их и по чередам их, |
|
17 И внесенным в список священникам, по их поколениям, и левитам, от двадцати лет и выше, по местам и по чередам их, |
|
18 И внесенным в список со всеми малолетними их, и с женами их, и сыновьями их, и с дочерями их, всему обществу; ибо они со всею верностью посвятили себя на священную службу. |
|
19 И для сынов Аароновых, священников в селениях вокруг городов их, при каждом городе поименованные мужи поставлены были, чтобы раздавать участки всем мужеского пола у священников, и всем внесенным в список у левитов. |
|
20 |
|
21 Во всех делах, какие он ни начинал касательно служения при доме Божием, и касательно закона и заповедей, помышляя о Боге своем, он действовал от всего сердца своего, и имел успех. |

2 And Hezekiah appointed the times of serving of the priests and the Levites according to their divisions, every man according to his service, the priests and the Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister and to give thanks and to praise in the gates of the temple of the LORD. |
2 И поставил Езекия череды священников и левитов по их распределению, каждого при своем деле священническом или левитском, при всесожжении, при благодарственных жертвах, для службы, для хваления и славословия к воротам стана Господа. |

4 И народу, живущему в Иерусалиме, он приказал давать часть священникам и левитам, чтоб они были тверды в законе Господа. |

5 And as soon as the commandment was published in Israel, they brought the first fruits of grain, wine, oil, and of their cattle, and of the produce of the field; and the tithe of all things they brought in abundantly. |
5 Когда вышло приказание, тогда сыны Израилевы нанесли множество начатков хлеба, вина, деревянного масла, и меду, и всяких произведений земли, десятины из всего, нанесли множество. |

6 And the children of Israel and Judah who dwelt in the cities of Judah also brought in gifts and offered them to the LORD their God. And they brought in tithes upon tithes of grain, of wine, and of their cattle, and of the produce of the field. They brought the tithes and consecrated them to the LORD their God. |
6 Израильтяне и Иудеи, живущие по городам Иудейским, также представили десятину из крупного и мелкого скота, и десятину пожертвований, посвященных Господу, Богу своему, и наклали груды. |

13 Иехиил, Азазия, Нахаф, Асаил, Иеримоф, Иозавад, Елиил, Исмахия, Махаф и Бенаия были смотрителями под рукою Ханании и брата его Шимея, по распоряжению царя Езекии и Азарии - главного в доме Божием. |

16 Сверх списка их, всем мужеского пола от трех лет и выше, всем ходящим в дом Господа поденно для служения своего, по местам их и по чередам их, |

17 И внесенным в список священникам, по их поколениям, и левитам, от двадцати лет и выше, по местам и по чередам их, |

18 And oil was given for their lanterns, to their wives, their sons, and their daughters, and to all the congregation of Israel, for in their set office they sanctified themselves faithfully. |
18 И внесенным в список со всеми малолетними их, и с женами их, и сыновьями их, и с дочерями их, всему обществу; ибо они со всею верностью посвятили себя на священную службу. |

20 And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and he did that which was good and right, and walked in truth before the LORD. |

21 And in every work that he began to do in the house of the LORD, and in the law and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart and prospered. |
21 Во всех делах, какие он ни начинал касательно служения при доме Божием, и касательно закона и заповедей, помышляя о Боге своем, он действовал от всего сердца своего, и имел успех. |
