第8章

1 嗣後大闢擊非利士人敗之、取米的安馬。

2 又擊摩押、使其人伏地、以繩量度、區之爲三、死亡者二、生存者一、由是摩押人服役於大闢、而進貢焉。

3 大闢往百辣河、欲得其地、則擊鎖巴王、哩合子哈大底泄。

4 擄馬乘一千七百、步卒二萬、斷其馬筋、所存者惟駟一百。

5 大馬色之亞蘭人至、欲助鎖巴王哈大底泄。大闢殺之、約二萬二千。

6 大闢遣兵戍大馬色、於是亞蘭人爲大闢僕而進貢。大闢不論所往、得耶和華祐。

7 哈大底泄僕衆、各執金干、大闢奪之、攜至耶路撒冷。

8 "庇大、庇羅太二邑、屬於哈大底泄、大闢取其桐、不可勝數。○

9 昔哈末王陀以與哈大底泄戰、今聞大闢已擊其軍旅、則遣子約蘭攜金銀銅器、往見大闢王、慶賀而視之。

11 大闢王取器、與降國所進之金銀、俱獻於耶和華、

12 所代者亞蘭、摩押、亞捫族、非利士人、亞馬力人、鎖巴王哩合子哈大底泄、盡獲其貨財以獻。

13 大闢在鹽谷殺以東人一萬八千、播揚其名、然後旋軍、

14 遣兵戍以東、而以東人咸爲大闢僕、大闢不論所往、得耶和華祐。

15 大闢治理以色列、秉公行義於民間。

16 西魯雅子約押爲軍長、亞希律子約沙法爲史官。

17 亞希突子撒督、與亞庇亞子亞希米勒爲祭司、西勑亞職繕寫。

18 耶何耶大子庇拿雅統轄劊役皂隸、大闢衆子成爲牧伯。

Chapter 8

1 And after310 this3651 it came1961 to pass that David1732 smote5221 the Philistines,6430 and subdued3665 them: and David1732 took3947 Methegammah4965 out of the hand3027 of the Philistines.6430

2 And he smote5221 Moab,4124 and measured4058 them with a line,2256 casting7901 them down7901 to the ground;776 even with two8147 lines2256 measured4058 he to put to death,4191 and with one full4393 line2256 to keep alive.2421 And so the Moabites4124 became1961 David's1732 servants,5650 and brought5375 gifts.4503

3 David1732 smote5221 also Hadadezer,1909 the son1121 of Rehob,7340 king4428 of Zobah,6678 as he went3212 to recover7725 his border3027 at the river5104 Euphrates.6578

4 And David1732 took3920 from him a thousand505 chariots, and seven7651 hundred3967 horsemen,6571 and twenty6242 thousand505 footmen:376 7273 and David1732 hamstrung6131 all3605 the chariot7393 horses, but reserved3498 of them for an hundred3967 chariots.7393

5 And when the Syrians758 of Damascus1834 came935 to succor5826 Hadadezer1909 king4428 of Zobah,6678 David1732 slew5221 of the Syrians758 two8147 and twenty6242 thousand505 men.376

6 Then David1732 put7760 garrisons5333 in Syria758 of Damascus:1834 and the Syrians758 became1961 servants5650 to David,1732 and brought5375 gifts.4503 And the LORD3068 preserved3467 David1732 wherever3605 834 he went.1980

7 And David1732 took3947 the shields7982 of gold2091 that were on413 the servants5650 of Hadadezer,1909 and brought935 them to Jerusalem.3389

8 And from Betah,984 and from Berothai,1268 cities5892 of Hadadezer,1909 king4428 David1732 took3947 exceeding3966 much7235 brass.5178

9 When Toi8583 king4428 of Hamath2574 heard8085 that David1732 had smitten5221 all3605 the host2428 of Hadadezer,1909

10 Then Toi8583 sent7971 Joram3141 his son1121 to king4428 David,1732 to salute7592 7965 him, and to bless1288 him, because5921 834 he had fought3898 against Hadadezer,1909 and smitten5221 him: for Hadadezer1909 had wars4421 with Toi.8583 And Joram brought1961 with him vessels3627 of silver,3701 and vessels3627 of gold,2091 and vessels3627 of brass:5178

14 And he put7760 garrisons5333 in Edom;123 throughout all3605 Edom123 put7760 he garrisons,5333 and all3605 they of Edom123 became1961 David's1732 servants.5650 And the LORD3068 preserved3467 David1732 wherever3605 834 he went.1980

15 And David1732 reigned4427 over5921 all3605 Israel;3478 and David1732 executed6213 judgment4941 and justice6666 to all3605 his people.5971

13 And David1732 got6213 him a name8034 when he returned7725 from smiting5221 of the Syrians758 in the valley1516 of salt,4417 being eighteen8083 6240 thousand505 men.

14 遣兵戍以東、而以東人咸爲大闢僕、大闢不論所往、得耶和華祐。

14 And he put7760 garrisons5333 in Edom;123 throughout all3605 Edom123 put7760 he garrisons,5333 and all3605 they of Edom123 became1961 David's1732 servants.5650 And the LORD3068 preserved3467 David1732 wherever3605 834 he went.1980

15 大闢治理以色列、秉公行義於民間。

15 And David1732 reigned4427 over5921 all3605 Israel;3478 and David1732 executed6213 judgment4941 and justice6666 to all3605 his people.5971
