箴言

第19章

1 愚魯而妄言、不如貧乏而純良。

2 無知則害事、疾趨則易躓。

3 愚人失足、遂怨耶和華。

4 富厚則交道廣、貧乏則鄰里絶。

5 妄證者刑譴必及、言誑者不能逭罰。

6 位居民牧、求恩者多、厚禮施人、欲交者衆。

7 人而匱乏、兄弟疾之、友朋遠之、有求於人、而莫之應。

8 獲智者愛生命、守道者納綏祉。

9 妄證不能免刑、言誑必致敗亡。

10 愚而居尊、下而陵上、非所宜也。

11 懲忿者爲智、宥過者得譽。

12 爰有王公、其震怒也、若獅之咆哮、其施恩也、如露之潤澤。

13 子不肖、憂親心、妻不賢、等屋漏。

14 產業爲祖父所遺、賢妻爲耶和華所賜。

15 怠者惟思寢、惰者必致饑。

16 守誡則生、侮道則死。

17 矜恤貧人、如貸金於耶和華、所給者必償。

18 及時訓子、猶可望其遷善、若惡已稔、願其速死則晚矣。

19 暴戾宜遭刑、赦之必再犯。

20 聽教誨、終則智。

21 耶和華有定命、人縱多謀、亦無裨也。

22 愛人者、人恒愛之、富而譎不如貧而直。

23 畏耶和華得生、而財恒足、不遇眚災。

24 惰者卽染指於盂、取饌入口、猶憚其難。

25 擊侮慢、則愚人知警、諫明哲、使進於道。

26 欺父逐母、貽羞孰甚。

27 爾小子、有誘爾離道者、爾勿聽從。

28 妄證者蔑視義理、作惡者其罪貫盈。

29 侮慢者必遭刑、愚蠢者必受責。

Chapter 19

4 Wealth1952 makes many7227 friends;7453 but the poor1800 is separated6504 from his neighbor.7453

5 A false8267 witness5707 shall not be unpunished,5352 and he that speaks6315 lies3576 shall not escape.4422

6 Many7227 will entreat2470 the favor6440 of the prince:5081 and every3605 man is a friend7453 to him that gives gifts.4976

7 All3605 the brothers251 of the poor7326 do hate8130 him: how637 much637 more do his friends4828 go7368 far7368 from him? he pursues7291 them with words,561 yet they are wanting3808 to him.
