11 Has a nation1471 changed4171 their gods,430 which1992 are yet no3808 gods?430 but my people5971 have changed4171 their glory3519 for that which1992 does not profit.3276

14 Is Israel3478 a servant?5650 is he a home born1004 slave? why4069 is he spoiled?957

25 Withhold4513 your foot7272 from being unshod,3182 and your throat1627 from thirst:6773 but you said,559 There is no hope:2976 no;3808 for I have loved157 strangers,2114 and after310 them will I go.3212

26 As the thief1590 is ashamed1322 when3588 he is found,4672 so3651 is the house1004 of Israel3478 ashamed;954 they, their kings,4428 their princes,8269 and their priests,3548 and their prophets.5030

35 Yet you say,559 Because3588 I am innocent,5352 surely389 his anger639 shall turn7725 from me. Behold,2005 I will plead8199 with you, because5921 you say,559 I have not sinned.2398

3 以色列族乃成聖之民、以奉事我、若土產之初實、我頒斯詔、凡吞噬斯民、獲罪於我者、必遭災害。

4 雅各家以色列族、宜聽耶和華之言。

5 耶和華曰、維昔爾祖、見我所爲、有何苛政、故背逆予、崇事虛無、所爲放誕、

6 我導斯民、出於埃及、過曠野深坑之地、汲道已絕、陰翳之所、廬舍全無、人踪罕至、我令此族、入於良田、食其土產、得其嘉物、自是之後、彼乃使我田疇聖業、咸染污衊、深可痛疾、庶民祭司、俱不求予、傳法之師、不識余道、民牧背予、先知託巴力之名而言、所作無益。

14 以色列族、詎同家之厮養乎、何爲被擄。

15 人攻斯邦、若稚獅狂吼、荒蕪其地、燬焚其邑、無人居之。

16 挪弗答比匿人碎汝頭。

17 我耶和華爾之上帝、導爾於途、爾乃棄我、自罹斯害。

18 爾今或往埃及、飲西曷之水、或往亞述、飲百辣之水、果何爲哉。

19 萬有之主耶和華曰、爾犯罪違道、必遭刑譴俾爾知、遐棄我躬、不畏我威者、必備嘗艱苦。

20 越在疇昔、我折爾軛、解爾結、爾曰、必不犯罪、然於羣峯之巔、茂林之下、縱欲奉事偶像。

21 昔我肇造爾邦、若植葡萄、擇其嘉種。迄於今、嘉者奚變爲劣。

22 主耶和華又曰、爾雖以鹼水皂莢、洗濯厥身、然爾犯罪、黥墨之迹、終不能滅。

23 爾豈得曰、不染污衊、未從巴力乎。爾於谷中所行、爾自知之、如牝駱駝、相誘以風、馳逐遠去。

24 野驢其風、放佚曠野、牝求其牡、孰能禁之、追之徒勞、迨其旣定、仍必遇之。

25 勿作惡、以致足跣口渴。然爾曰、毋庸勸我、崇他上帝、弗能已焉。

26 盜被執則愧恥、以色列族王公、祭司、先知、庶民、無不懹慙、亦若是。

27 彼稱木爲父、稱石爲母、居恒之際、則背逆乎我、患難之時、則求予援手。

28 猶大人歟、爾之衆邑、各事一上帝、其數相等、所作之像安在、盍使彼並起、拯救爾曹。

29 耶和華曰、爾曹負罪之人、怨予曷故。

30 吾督責爾赤子、仍不受教、使我徒勞、惟爾手刃先知、若猛獅吞噬。

31 斯世之人、宜聽我言、我眷佑以色列族、詎若幽曠之野、杳冥之域哉。何以我民放縱、不肯詣予。

32 處女之簪珥、新婦之衣裳、無刻或忘、惟我民忘予、歷時已久。

33 爾何冶容誨淫、以爾所爲、誘惑蕩子。

34 爾虐遇貧民、多殺不辜、血染衣裾、毋庸掘地以見、隨處露迹。

35 爾自爲無罪、冀予弗怒、爾不任過、我必鞫爾、

36 爾何肆志遨遊、重蹈故轍、昔爾維亞述是恃、而蒙愧恥、今爾惟埃及是賴、而抱羞慙。

37 爾所恃者、爲我所棄、俾爾不利、以手抱首、而去其國。
