第22章

1 厥後，上帝試亞伯拉罕，呼之曰：“亞伯拉罕。”曰：予在此。

2 曰：爾嫡所出，惟一以撒，爾所鍾愛者，可攜之，往摩哩地，在我所示之山，燔之以獻。〇

3 亞伯拉罕夙興，備驢，攜二僕及子以撒，劈柴爲燔，將詣上帝所示之處。

4 越三日，舉目遙瞻其處。

5 亞伯拉罕謂僕曰：爾與驢姑待於此，我與子往彼，崇拜卽返。

6 遂使子負柴，己則持火與刀，與子偕行。

7 以撒謂父曰：吾父歟，曰：吾子，吾在此，曰：火與柴則有之矣，而所燔之羔何在。

8 曰：吾子，上帝將備羔，以爲燔祭，於是偕行。

9 至上帝所示之處，亞伯拉罕築壇，臚列其柴，縛子以撒，置於壇之柴上。

10 舉手執刀，將宰其子。

11 耶和華使者自天呼曰：亞伯拉罕乎，亞伯拉罕乎，曰：我在此。

12 曰：爾子，莫擊、莫傷，我知爾畏我，蓋爾嫡子，惟此一人，猶且不惜以獻於我。

13 亞伯拉罕舉目回顧，見有牡綿羊，角繫林叢，遂往執羊，燔而獻之，以代其子。

14 稱其地曰耶和華必預備，越至於今，人常云，在耶和華山必預備也。〇

15 耶和華之使者自天復呼亞伯拉罕。

16 曰：耶和華指己而誓，曰：因爾行是，不惜嫡子一人，

17 我必大賚爾福祉，昌熾爾子孫，如天星之衆多，如海沙之無量，爾子孫將勝諸敵。

18 因爾遵我命，天下兆民，將藉爾裔而受福祉。

19 亞伯拉罕遂返至僕所，與之偕行，至別是巴而居焉。〇

20 厥後，人告亞伯拉罕云：密迦從爾兄拿鶴生子。

21 伯曰戶斯，仲曰布斯，季曰基母利。基母利生亞蘭。

22 密迦又生基泄，哈鎖，必達，益臘，彼土利。

23 此八人者，皆密迦從亞伯拉罕兄拿鶴所出，彼土利生女利百加。

24 拿鶴妾名流馬，生子提八，迦含，大轄，馬迦。

Genesis

Chapter 22

1 And it came1961 to pass after310 these428 things,1697 that God430 did tempt5254 Abraham,85 and said559 to him, Abraham:85 and he said,559 Behold,2009 here I am.

2 And he said,559 Take3947 now4994 your son,1121 your only3173 son Isaac,3327 whom834 you love,157 and get3212 you into413 the land776 of Moriah;4179 and offer5927 him there8033 for a burnt5930 offering on one259 of the mountains2022 which834 I will tell559 you of.

3 And Abraham85 rose7925 up early7925 in the morning,1242 and saddled2280 his ass,2543 and took3947 two8147 of his young5288 men with him, and Isaac3327 his son,1121 and split1234 the wood6086 for the burnt5930 offering, and rose6965 up, and went3212 to the place4725 of which God430 had told559 him.

4 Then on the third7992 day3117 Abraham85 lifted5375 up his eyes,5869 and saw7200 the place4725 afar7350 off.

5 And Abraham85 said559 to his young5288 men, Abide3427 you here6311 with the ass;2543 and I and the lad5288 will go3212 yonder5704 3541 and worship,7812 and come7725 again7725 to you.

6 And Abraham85 took3947 the wood6086 of the burnt5930 offering, and laid7760 it on Isaac3327 his son;1121 and he took3947 the fire784 in his hand,3027 and a knife;3979 and they went3212 both8147 of them together.3162

7 And Isaac3327 spoke559 to Abraham85 his father,1 and said,559 My father:1 and he said,559 Here2009 am I, my son.1121 And he said,559 Behold2009 the fire784 and the wood:6086 but where346 is the lamb7716 for a burnt5930 offering?

8 And Abraham85 said,559 My son,1121 God430 will provide7200 himself a lamb7716 for a burnt5930 offering: so they went3212 both8147 of them together.3162

9 And they came935 to the place4725 which834 God430 had told559 him of; and Abraham85 built1129 an altar4196 there,8033 and laid the wood6086 in order,6186 and bound6123 Isaac3327 his son,1121 and laid7760 him on5921 the altar4196 on the wood.6086

10 And Abraham85 stretched7971 forth his hand,3027 and took3947 the knife3979 to slay7819 his son.1121

11 And the angel4397 of the LORD3068 called7121 to him out of heaven,8064 and said,559 Abraham,85 Abraham:85 and he said,559 Here2009 am I.

12 And he said,559 Lay7971 not your hand3027 on the lad,5288 neither408 do6213 you any3972 thing to him: for now6258 I know3045 that you fear3373 God,430 seeing you have not withheld2820 your son,1121 your only3162 son from me.

13 And Abraham85 lifted5375 up his eyes,5869 and looked,7200 and behold2009 behind310 him a ram352 caught270 in a thicket5442 by his horns:7161 and Abraham85 went3212 and took3947 the ram,352 and offered5927 him up for a burnt5930 offering in the stead8478 of his son.1121

14 And Abraham85 called7121 the name8034 of that place4725 Jehovahjireh:3070 as it is said559 to this day,3117 In the mount2022 of the LORD3068 it shall be seen.7200

15 And the angel4397 of the LORD3068 called7121 to Abraham85 out of heaven8064 the second8145 time,6256

16 And said,559 By myself have I sworn,7650 said5002 the LORD,3068 for because3282 834 you have done6213 this2088 thing,1697 and have not withheld2820 your son,1121 your only3173 son:

17 That in blessing1288 I will bless1288 you, and in multiplying7235 I will multiply7235 your seed2233 as the stars3556 of the heaven,8064 and as the sand2344 which834 is on the sea3220 shore;8193 and your seed2233 shall possess3423 the gate8179 of his enemies;341

18 And in your seed2233 shall all3605 the nations1471 of the earth776 be blessed;1288 because6118 834 you have obeyed8085 my voice.6963

19 So Abraham85 returned7725 to his young5288 men, and they rose6965 up and went3212 together3162 to Beersheba;884 and Abraham85 dwelled3427 at Beersheba.884

20 And it came1961 to pass after310 these428 things,1697 that it was told5046 Abraham,85 saying,559 Behold,2009 Milcah,4435 she has also born3205 children1121 to your brother251 Nahor;5152

21 Huz5780 his firstborn,1060 and Buz938 his brother,251 and Kemuel7055 the father1 of Aram,758

22 And Chesed,3777 and Hazo,2375 and Pildash,6394 and Jidlaph,3044 and Bethuel.1328

23 And Bethuel1328 begat3205 Rebekah:7259 these428 eight8083 Milcah4435 did bear3205 to Nahor,5152 Abraham's85 brother.251

24 And his concubine,6370 whose name8034 was Reumah,7208 she bore3205 also Tebah,2875 and Gaham,1514 and Thahash,8477 and Maachah.4601

1 And it came1961 to pass after310 these428 things,1697 that God430 did tempt5254 Abraham,85 and said559 to him, Abraham:85 and he said,559 Behold,2009 here I am.

4 越三日，舉目遙瞻其處。

4 Then on the third7992 day3117 Abraham85 lifted5375 up his eyes,5869 and saw7200 the place4725 afar7350 off.

5 亞伯拉罕謂僕曰：爾與驢姑待於此，我與子往彼，崇拜卽返。

5 And Abraham85 said559 to his young5288 men, Abide3427 you here6311 with the ass;2543 and I and the lad5288 will go3212 yonder5704 3541 and worship,7812 and come7725 again7725 to you.

6 遂使子負柴，己則持火與刀，與子偕行。

6 And Abraham85 took3947 the wood6086 of the burnt5930 offering, and laid7760 it on Isaac3327 his son;1121 and he took3947 the fire784 in his hand,3027 and a knife;3979 and they went3212 both8147 of them together.3162

7 以撒謂父曰：吾父歟，曰：吾子，吾在此，曰：火與柴則有之矣，而所燔之羔何在。

7 And Isaac3327 spoke559 to Abraham85 his father,1 and said,559 My father:1 and he said,559 Here2009 am I, my son.1121 And he said,559 Behold2009 the fire784 and the wood:6086 but where346 is the lamb7716 for a burnt5930 offering?

8 曰：吾子，上帝將備羔，以爲燔祭，於是偕行。

8 And Abraham85 said,559 My son,1121 God430 will provide7200 himself a lamb7716 for a burnt5930 offering: so they went3212 both8147 of them together.3162

9 至上帝所示之處，亞伯拉罕築壇，臚列其柴，縛子以撒，置於壇之柴上。

9 And they came935 to the place4725 which834 God430 had told559 him of; and Abraham85 built1129 an altar4196 there,8033 and laid the wood6086 in order,6186 and bound6123 Isaac3327 his son,1121 and laid7760 him on5921 the altar4196 on the wood.6086

10 舉手執刀，將宰其子。

10 And Abraham85 stretched7971 forth his hand,3027 and took3947 the knife3979 to slay7819 his son.1121

11 耶和華使者自天呼曰：亞伯拉罕乎，亞伯拉罕乎，曰：我在此。

11 And the angel4397 of the LORD3068 called7121 to him out of heaven,8064 and said,559 Abraham,85 Abraham:85 and he said,559 Here2009 am I.

12 曰：爾子，莫擊、莫傷，我知爾畏我，蓋爾嫡子，惟此一人，猶且不惜以獻於我。

12 And he said,559 Lay7971 not your hand3027 on the lad,5288 neither408 do6213 you any3972 thing to him: for now6258 I know3045 that you fear3373 God,430 seeing you have not withheld2820 your son,1121 your only3162 son from me.

13 亞伯拉罕舉目回顧，見有牡綿羊，角繫林叢，遂往執羊，燔而獻之，以代其子。

13 And Abraham85 lifted5375 up his eyes,5869 and looked,7200 and behold2009 behind310 him a ram352 caught270 in a thicket5442 by his horns:7161 and Abraham85 went3212 and took3947 the ram,352 and offered5927 him up for a burnt5930 offering in the stead8478 of his son.1121

14 稱其地曰耶和華必預備，越至於今，人常云，在耶和華山必預備也。〇

14 And Abraham85 called7121 the name8034 of that place4725 Jehovahjireh:3070 as it is said559 to this day,3117 In the mount2022 of the LORD3068 it shall be seen.7200

15 耶和華之使者自天復呼亞伯拉罕。

15 And the angel4397 of the LORD3068 called7121 to Abraham85 out of heaven8064 the second8145 time,6256

16 曰：耶和華指己而誓，曰：因爾行是，不惜嫡子一人，

16 And said,559 By myself have I sworn,7650 said5002 the LORD,3068 for because3282 834 you have done6213 this2088 thing,1697 and have not withheld2820 your son,1121 your only3173 son:

17 我必大賚爾福祉，昌熾爾子孫，如天星之衆多，如海沙之無量，爾子孫將勝諸敵。

17 That in blessing1288 I will bless1288 you, and in multiplying7235 I will multiply7235 your seed2233 as the stars3556 of the heaven,8064 and as the sand2344 which834 is on the sea3220 shore;8193 and your seed2233 shall possess3423 the gate8179 of his enemies;341

18 因爾遵我命，天下兆民，將藉爾裔而受福祉。

18 And in your seed2233 shall all3605 the nations1471 of the earth776 be blessed;1288 because6118 834 you have obeyed8085 my voice.6963

19 亞伯拉罕遂返至僕所，與之偕行，至別是巴而居焉。〇

19 So Abraham85 returned7725 to his young5288 men, and they rose6965 up and went3212 together3162 to Beersheba;884 and Abraham85 dwelled3427 at Beersheba.884

20 厥後，人告亞伯拉罕云：密迦從爾兄拿鶴生子。

20 And it came1961 to pass after310 these428 things,1697 that it was told5046 Abraham,85 saying,559 Behold,2009 Milcah,4435 she has also born3205 children1121 to your brother251 Nahor;5152

24 And his concubine,6370 whose name8034 was Reumah,7208 she bore3205 also Tebah,2875 and Gaham,1514 and Thahash,8477 and Maachah.4601
