5 及夏而斂者可爲智、當秋而寢者人所羞。

6 義者行仁而受福、惡者強暴而受禍、

7 義者聲名、流芳弗替、惡者姓氏、遺臭無窮。

8 智者心靈、受人訓誨、愚者言多、必致隕越。

9 直躬而行者、無不當、所從邪曲者、罰難逭。

10 送目惑人、必致憂愁、愚者多言、必致隕越。

11 義人其言也善、福之基也、惡人其言也厲、禍之由也。

12 憾人者、搆人之釁、愛人者、隱人之惡。

13 有智者常談至道、無智者必受扑責。

14 智者聞言、藏之於衷、愚者多詞、害及乎人、

15 富人有財、常得範衛、貧人缺乏、臨於危亡。

16 義人無往不利、惡者動輒得咎、

17 祇承教誨、則從生道、不聽勸勉、必履歧途。
