8 陰訐人非、人所樂聽、如食甘旨、飫其口腹。

9 怠惰者與奢蕩者、無以異也。

10 耶和華若鞏固之臺、善人登之、蒙其護衛。

11 富人視財若鞏固之邑、高峻之垣。

12 驕泰者敗亡繼之、謙遜者尊榮被之。

13 言未聽而妄應、拙不藏而貽羞。

14 身疾心猶安、心憂則難堪。

15 智者心增明慧、耳聽至道。

16 餽禮物、可以啟捷徑、可以見大人。

17 先赴訴者、其理似直、有後至者、爾當詳察之。

18 掣籤以息事、強者以之止鬬。

19 弟犯兄長、欲復修和、較勝鞏固之城、折宮門之楗、猶爲難也。

20 所言必結果、出乎口者反乎身。

21 生死之機、在於出口、言必獲報。
