1 Sing,7442 O barren,6135 thou that didst not3808 bear;3205 break forth6476 into singing,7440 and cry aloud,6670 thou that didst not3808 travail with child:2342 for3588 more7227 are the children1121 of the desolate8074 than the children4480 1121 of the married wife,1166 saith559 the LORD.3068

2 Enlarge7337 the place4725 of thy tent,168 and let them stretch forth5186 the curtains3407 of thine habitations:4908 spare2820 not,408 lengthen748 thy cords,4340 and strengthen2388 thy stakes;3489

3 For3588 thou shalt break forth6555 on the right hand3225 and on the left;8040 and thy seed2233 shall inherit3423 the Gentiles,1471 and make the desolate8074 cities5892 to be inhabited.3427

4 Fear3372 not;408 for3588 thou shalt not3808 be ashamed:954 neither408 be thou confounded;3637 for3588 thou shalt not3808 be put to shame:2659 for3588 thou shalt forget7911 the shame1322 of thy youth,5934 and shalt not3808 remember2142 the reproach2781 of thy widowhood491 any more.5750

5 For3588 thy Maker6213 is thine husband;1166 the LORD3068 of hosts6635 is his name;8034 and thy Redeemer1350 the Holy One6918 of Israel;3478 The God430 of the whole3605 earth776 shall he be called.7121

6 For3588 the LORD3068 hath called7121 thee as a woman802 forsaken5800 and grieved6087 in spirit,7307 and a wife802 of youth,5271 when3588 thou wast refused,3988 saith559 thy God.430

7 For a small6996 moment7281 have I forsaken5800 thee; but with great1419 mercies7356 will I gather6908 thee.

10 For3588 the mountains2022 shall depart,4185 and the hills1389 be removed;4131 but my kindness2617 shall not3808 depart4185 from4480 854 thee, neither3808 shall the covenant1285 of my peace7965 be removed,4131 saith559 the LORD3068 that hath mercy7355 on thee.

11 O thou afflicted,6041 tossed with tempest,5590 and not3808 comforted,5162 behold,2009 I595 will lay7257 thy stones68 with fair colors,6320 and lay thy foundations3245 with sapphires.5601

12 And I will make7760 thy windows8121 of agates,3539 and thy gates8179 of carbuncles,68 688 and all3605 thy borders1366 of pleasant2656 stones.68

13 And all3605 thy children1121 shall be taught3928 of the LORD;3068 and great7227 shall be the peace7965 of thy children.1121

14 In righteousness6666 shalt thou be established:3559 thou shalt be far7368 from oppression;4480 6233 for3588 thou shalt not3808 fear:3372 and from terror;4480 4288 for3588 it shall not3808 come near7126 413 thee.

15 Behold,2005 they shall surely gather together,1481 1481 but not657 by4480 854 me: whosoever4310 shall gather together1481 against854 thee shall fall5307 for5921 thy sake.

16 Behold,2009 I595 have created1254 the smith2796 that bloweth5301 the coals6352 in the fire,784 and that bringeth forth3318 an instrument3627 for his work;4639 and I595 have created1254 the waster7843 to destroy.2254

17 No3808 3605 weapon3627 that is formed3335 against5921 thee shall prosper;6743 and every3605 tongue3956 that shall rise6965 against854 thee in judgment4941 thou shalt condemn.7561 This2063 is the heritage5159 of the servants5650 of the LORD,3068 and their righteousness6666 is of4480 854 me, saith5002 the LORD.3068

1 耶和華謂郇邑曰、不奼不生之婦最可樂、未劬勞之女、歡聲而呼、蓋棄婦較有夫之婦、生子多矣。

2 當廓爾居、張爾幕、索必長、釘必固、勿怠爾事。

3 爾之子孫、寖昌寖熾、環繞左右、諸國之邑、素已荒蕪、惟爾後人、將撫而有之。

4 溯爾幼時、至於成立、伶仃孤苦、屢受凌辱、今不復念、不愧不怍、無所畏葸、

5 我萬有之主耶和華、治理宇宙之上帝、以色列族之聖主救主、昔肇造爾邦、眷顧乎爾、有若夫婦。

6 爾可擬女子、幼時適人、後爲夫所棄、愀然以憂、今我耶和華爾之上帝、召爾旋歸。

7 我棄爾不過俄頃、必加厚恩、納爾以歸、

8 我耶和華爾之救主、忽生憤怒、暫遐棄爾、後施矜恤、永世靡曁。

9 昔挪亞時、我失之云、自後洪水、必不汎濫於天下、今也、我亦誓不怒爾責爾矣。

10 我耶和華矜憫爲懷、與爾立約、錫爾平康、必不爽約、山岡可移、我之仁慈、斷不可移。

11 爾遭患難、不納慰藉、若飄於颶風、我必以光石青玉作爾基、

12 以紅寶玉築爾堞、以夜明珠飾爾門、四境之內、寶石聚焉。

13 爾衆赤子、將蒙我教、大獲平康、

14 以義爾邦、無人虐遇、毋庸畏葸、四境不驚、

15 糾合攻爾者、違我所命、必使投誠。

16 燃火製器之人、我所造、用器傷人之人、亦我所造、

17 兵革攻爾者、必不利、與爾舌戰者、必不勝、我使我臣僕、稱義納福、無不若是、我耶和華已言之矣。
