4 The Spirit7307 of God410 hath made6213 me, and the breath5397 of the Almighty7706 hath given me life.2421

7 我之威不足以惕爾、我之權不足以制爾。

9 我清潔無辜、

10 上帝攻我、視若寇讎、

11 桎我足、禁我遨遊。

12 爾言實悖乎理、我不能不辨、夫上帝卓越於人、

13 任意以行、爾不順受曷故。

14 上帝言一而再、人弗從也、

15 夜靜人寢、偃臥休褥之時、或示夢、或顯異象、

16 言提其耳、靜謐示之。

17 使人改過、去其驕心、

18 不令其入塚墓、遭白刃、

19 惟使之負痛迫切、偃息在牀、遘疾纏綿、害入骨髓。

20 遂厭食物、不飫珍錯、

21 肉消骨立、

22 生命臨墓、近於喪亡、

23 時有使者、才德異衆、以上帝之道明示之、

24 於是主矜憫其人曰、我已贖彼、免其入墓。

25 病者得愈、同於再造、其體壯健、無異少者。

26 祈禱上帝、蒙主悅納、復獲福祉、歡然見主、

27 言於衆前曰、我昔犯罪、蹈於非義、所爲無益、

28 主援我、免於死亡、復覩光明。

29 上帝待人若此者屢矣。

30 援之於墓、使享有生之福。

31 約百歟、我願言我志、尚其默然以聽、

32 我欲待爾以義、爾有所云、何妨直對、

33 不然、則緘厥口、俟我曉爾以理。
