Chapter 21

1 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Speak559 unto413 the priests3548 the sons1121 of Aaron,175 and say559 unto413 them, There shall none3808 be defiled2930 for the dead5315 among his people: 5971

2 But3588 518 for his kin,7607 that is near7138 unto413 him, that is, for his mother,517 and for his father,1 and for his son,1121 and for his daughter,1323 and for his brother,251

3 And for his sister269 a virgin,1330 that is nigh7138 unto413 him, which834 hath had1961 no3808 husband;376 for her may he be defiled.2930

4 But he shall not3808 defile himself,2930 being a chief man1167 among his people,5971 to profane himself.2490

5 They shall not3808 make7139 baldness7144 upon their head,7218 neither3808 shall they shave off1548 the corner6285 of their beard,2206 nor3808 make8295 any cuttings8296 in their flesh.1320

6 They shall be1961 holy6918 unto their God,430 and not3808 profane2490 the name8034 of their God:430 for3588 853 the offerings of the LORD made by fire,801 3068 and the bread3899 of their God,430 they1992 do offer:7126 therefore they shall be1961 holy.6944

7 They shall not3808 take3947 a wife802 that is a whore,2181 or profane;2491 neither3808 shall they take3947 a woman802 put away1644 from her husband:4480 376 for3588 he1931 is holy6918 unto his God.430

8 Thou shalt sanctify6942 him therefore; for3588 he1931 offereth7126 853 the bread3899 of thy God:430 he shall be1961 holy6918 unto thee: for3588 I589 the LORD,3068 which sanctify6942 you, am holy.6918

9 And the daughter1323 of any376 priest,3548 if3588 she profane herself2490 by playing the whore,2181 she1931 profaneth2490 853 her father:1 she shall be burnt8313 with fire.784

10 And he that is the high1419 priest3548 among his brethren,4480 251 upon5921 whose834 head7218 the anointing4888 oil8081 was poured,3332 and that is consecrated4390 853 3027 to put on3847 853 the garments,899 shall not3808 uncover6544 853 his head,7218 nor3808 rend6533 his clothes;899

11 Neither3808 shall he go in935 to5921 any3605 dead4191 body,5315 nor3808 defile himself2930 for his father,1 or for his mother;517

12 Neither3808 shall he go out3318 of4480 the sanctuary,4720 nor3808 profane2490 853 the sanctuary4720 of his God;430 for3588 the crown5145 of the anointing4888 oil8081 of his God430 is upon5921 him: I589 am the LORD.3068

13 And he1931 shall take3947 a wife802 in her virginity.1331

14 A widow,490 or a divorced woman,1644 or profane,2491 or a harlot,2181 853 these428 shall he not3808 take:3947 but3588 518 he shall take3947 a virgin1330 of his own people4480 5971 to wife.802

15 Neither3808 shall he profane2490 his seed2233 among his people:5971 for3588 I589 the LORD3068 do sanctify6942 him.

16 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 unto413 Moses,4872 saying,559

17 Speak1696 unto413 Aaron,175 saying,559 Whosoever376 834 he be of thy seed4480 2233 in their generations1755 that hath1961 any blemish,3971 let him not3808 approach7126 to offer7126 the bread3899 of his God.430

18 For3588 whatsoever3605 man376 he be that834 hath a blemish,3971 he shall not3808 approach:7126 a blind5787 man,376 or176 a lame,6455 or176 he that hath a flat nose,2763 or176 any thing superfluous,8311

19 Or176 a man376 that834 is1961 broken-footed,7667 7272 or176 broken-handed,7667 3027

20 Or176 crookbacked,1384 or176 a dwarf,1851 or176 that hath a blemish8400 in his eye,5869 or176 be scurvy,1618 or176 scabbed,3217 or176 hath his stones810 broken;4790

21 No3808 3605 man376 that834 hath a blemish3971 of the seed4480 2233 of Aaron175 the priest3548 shall come nigh5066 to offer7126 853 the offerings of the LORD made by fire:801 3068 he hath a blemish;3971 he shall not3808 come nigh5066 to offer7126 853 the bread3899 of his God.430

22 He shall eat398 the bread3899 of his God,430 both of the most holy,4480 6944 6944 and of4480 the holy.6944

23 Only389 he shall not3808 go in935 unto413 the veil,6532 nor3808 come nigh5066 unto413 the altar,4196 because3588 he hath a blemish;3971 that he profane2490 not3808 853 my sanctuaries:4720 for3588 I589 the LORD3068 do sanctify6942 them.

24 And Moses4872 told1696 it unto413 Aaron,175 and to413 his sons,1121 and unto413 all3605 the children1121 of Israel.3478

1 耶和華諭摩西曰、亞倫子孫爲祭司、當告之云、族中有死亡者、祭司勿爲之蒙汚、

2 若死者爲己戚屬、父母兄弟、子女則可、

3 姊妹未適人者亦可、

4 旣爲長者、則勿從俗、爲人蒙汚、

5 勿髠髮、勿薙鬚之四周、勿割肉。

6 祭司旣獻燔祭、享厥上帝、故當成聖、以奉事我、毋瀆我名、

7 祭司爲聖、以奉上帝、故娼妓淫奔棄婦勿娶。

8 祭司旣享上帝、必以爲聖、蓋我耶和華乃聖、使爾成聖。

9 如祭司之女行淫自玷、辱及於父、必爇以火。

10 兄弟中有爲祭司長者、旣沐香膏、衣聖衣、任是職、則勿裂衣露項、

11 勿近尸側、卽父母之尸亦勿近之、而蒙不潔。

12 祭司長戴冕受膏、奉厥上帝、勿離聖地、勿瀆上帝之聖所、我耶和華所命如此。

13 祭司長必娶處女。

14 嫠婦、棄婦、娼妓、淫奔、勿娶、惟宗族之處女則可、

15 勿使其苗裔玷於族中、蓋我耶和華已俾其成聖。〇

16 又曰、

17 告亞倫、凡爾歷代子孫、體有不備者、勿享上帝、凡體不備者、勿近我前、

18 如瞽、跛、鼼、四肢不均、

19 或手足傷毀、

20 或傴僂、或侏儒、或瞕翳、或疥癬、或瘡痍、或損外腎、

21 凡祭司亞倫之族、體有不備者、勿近我前、以獻燔祭、享厥上帝。

22 所奉之禮物、以享上帝者、無論聖與至聖、彼亦得而食之、

23 簾中不可入、壇前不可近、恐玷我聖所、蓋我耶和華已使之成聖。

24 摩西以此告亞倫及其子、並以色列族。

1 耶和華諭摩西曰、亞倫子孫爲祭司、當告之云、族中有死亡者、祭司勿爲之蒙汚、

2 But3588 518 for his kin,7607 that is near7138 unto413 him, that is, for his mother,517 and for his father,1 and for his son,1121 and for his daughter,1323 and for his brother,251

2 若死者爲己戚屬、父母兄弟、子女則可、

3 And for his sister269 a virgin,1330 that is nigh7138 unto413 him, which834 hath had1961 no3808 husband;376 for her may he be defiled.2930

3 姊妹未適人者亦可、

12 祭司長戴冕受膏、奉厥上帝、勿離聖地、勿瀆上帝之聖所、我耶和華所命如此。

13 And he1931 shall take3947 a wife802 in her virginity.1331

13 祭司長必娶處女。

17 告亞倫、凡爾歷代子孫、體有不備者、勿享上帝、凡體不備者、勿近我前、
