Chapter 12

3 作惡者不能自立、爲善者永不遷移。

4 淑女爲夫榮、若首加冕、惡女爲夫辱、若骨已朽。

5 善人所懷者仁義、惡人所謀者詭譎。

6 惡者語人以殺戮之事、義者勸人以拯救之道。

7 惡者顛沛、歸於消亡、義人之家、恒存鞏固。

8 智者爲人稱揚、頑者爲人藐視。

9 好自尊大者、飲食匱乏、不如居卑勤操作。

10 義者卽其牲畜、猶加愛惜、惡者卽有仁慈、亦同殘忍。

11 事耕耘者、得果腹、從虛誕者、缺智慧。

12 惡者貪非義之利、義人自食其力。

13 惡者用危言而自陷、義者遘災祲而得免。

14 嘉言納福、懿行得報。

15 愚人自是、智者聽教、

16 愚人易怒、智者忍辱。

17 直者言善、曲者誣人。

18 愚人之舌如鋒刃、智人之言若良藥。

19 言實者可久、語誑者立敗。

20 立志損人者爲自欺、以言益人者必獲福。

21 義人不遘災、惡者頻遇害。

22 行眞者耶和華所悅、偽爲者爲其所疾。

23 智者彌藏其智、愚者自顯其愚。

24 勤者治人、怠者治於人。
