5 他們就［And］越發暴烈［fierce］的說：「他煽惑百姓，在猶太遍地教訓人［teaching］，從加利利起，直到這裏了。」

6 彼拉多一聽見加利利［Galilee］，就問這人是加利利人不是［whether］。

7 他一曉得［as soon as he knew］耶穌屬希律所管，就把他送到希律那裏去，那時希律也［also］在耶路撒冷。

8 希律既［when］看見耶穌，就很歡喜。因為聽見過他許多［many］的事，久已想要見他；他又盼望［and he hoped］看他行好些［some］神蹟。

9 希律［he］於是問他許多的話；耶穌卻向他［answered him nothing］一言不答。

10 祭司長和文士都站著，極力的告他。

11 希律和他的兵丁就輕棄［set him at nought］耶穌，戲弄他，給他穿上華麗外袍［robe］，把他再［again］送到［to］彼拉多那裏去。

12 那一天［the same day］，希律和彼拉多就成了朋友［were made friends together］；他們從前原是彼此有仇［for before they were at enmity between themselves］。

14 就對他們說：「你們解這人到我這裏，說他是誘惑百姓的。看哪，我也曾將你們告他的事，在你們面前審問他，並沒有查出他甚麼錯［fault］來。

15 就是希律也是如此。因我差遣你們去見希律；也見他沒有作過甚麼該死的事［for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him］。

16 故此，我要責打他，把他釋放了。」

17 （每逢這節期巡撫必須釋放一個囚犯給他們。）

30 那時，人要向大山說：『倒在我們身上』；向小山說：『遮蓋我們』。」

31 「這些事，他們［they］既行在有汁水的樹上，那枯乾的樹將來怎麼樣呢？」

32 又有兩個犯人，和耶穌一同帶來處死。

33 到了一個地方，名叫「髑髏地」，就在那裏把耶穌釘在十字架上，又釘了兩個犯人：一個在左邊，一個在右邊。

34 當下耶穌說：「父啊，饒恕［forgive］他們；因為他們所作的，他們不曉得。」兵丁就分他的衣服，並且擲籤［parted his raiment, and cast lots］。

35 百姓站在那裏觀看。官長［rulers］也和他們［with them］嗤笑他，說：「他救了別人；他若是基督，神所揀選的，可以救自己吧。」

36 兵丁也戲弄他，上前拿醋送給他喝，

37 說：「你若是猶太人的王，可以救自己吧。」

38 在耶穌以上有一個牌子，用希臘［Greek］、拉丁［Latin］和希伯來［Hebrew］的文字［in letters of］寫著：「這是猶太人的王。」

39 那同釘的兩個犯人有一個譏誚他，說：「你若是基督［If thou be Christ］，可以救自己和我們吧。」

40 那一個卻［But］應聲責備他，說：「你既是一樣受刑的，還不怕神嗎？

41 我們是應該的；因我們所受的與我們所作的相稱。但這個人沒有作過一件不好的事。」

43 耶穌對他說：「我實在告訴你：『今日你要同我在樂園裏了。』」

47 百夫長看見所成的事，就歸榮耀與神，說：「這真是個義人。」

23 他們立時大聲喊叫［instant with loud voices］，求他把耶穌釘在十字架上。他們和祭司長［and of the chief priests］的聲音就得了勝。

24 And1161 Pilate4091 gave sentence1948 that it should be1096 as they required.846 155

24 彼拉多這才照他們所求的定案。

25 And1161 he released630 unto them846 him that for1223 sedition4714 and2532 murder5408 was cast906 into1519 prison,5438 whom3739 they had desired;154 but1161 he delivered3860 Jesus2424 to their846 will.2307

25 彼拉多［he］把他們所求的那作亂殺人、下在監裏的給他們［unto them］釋放了；他卻［but he］把耶穌交給他們，任憑他們的意思行。

26 And2532 as5613 they led him away,520 846 they laid hold upon1949 one5100 Simon,4613 a Cyrenian,2956 coming2064 out of575 the country,68 and on him846 they laid2007 the3588 cross,4716 that he might bear5342 it after3693 Jesus.2424

26 他們［they］帶耶穌去的時候，抓住［laid hold］一個古利奈人，名叫西門，從鄉下來的，把十字架擱在他身上，叫他背著跟隨耶穌。

27 And1161 there followed190 him846 a great4183 company4128 of people,2992 and2532 of women,1135 which3739 also2532 bewailed2875 and2532 lamented2354 him.846

27 有一大幫［great company of］百姓跟隨耶穌，內中有好些婦女，她們［which also］為他號咷痛哭。

28 But1161 Jesus2424 turning4762 unto4314 them846 said,2036 Daughters2364 of Jerusalem,2419 weep2799 not3361 for1909 me,1691 but4133 weep2799 for1909 yourselves,1438 and2532 for1909 your5216 children.5043

28 但［But］耶穌轉身對她們說：「耶路撒冷的眾女子［Daughters］，不要為我哭，倒［but］當為自己和自己的兒女哭。

29 For,3754 behold,2400 the days2250 are coming,2064 in1722 the which3739 they shall say,2046 Blessed3107 are the3588 barren,4723 and2532 the wombs2836 that3739 never3756 bare,1080 and2532 the paps3149 which3739 never3756 gave suck.2337

29 因為看哪［behold］，日子要到，人必說：『不育的［barren］，和未曾懷胎的，未曾乳養嬰孩的，有福了。』

30 Then5119 shall they begin756 to say3004 to the3588 mountains,3735 Fall4098 on1909 us;2248 and2532 to the3588 hills,1015 Cover2572 us.2248

30 那時，人要向大山說：『倒在我們身上』；向小山說：『遮蓋我們』。」

31 For3754 if1487 they do4160 these things5023 in1722 a green5200 tree,3586 what5101 shall be done1096 in1722 the3588 dry?3584

31 「這些事，他們［they］既行在有汁水的樹上，那枯乾的樹將來怎麼樣呢？」

32 And1161 there were also2532 two1417 other,2087 malefactors,2557 led71 with4862 him846 to be put to death.337

32 又有兩個犯人，和耶穌一同帶來處死。

33 And2532 when3753 they were come565 to1909 the3588 place,5117 which is called2564 Calvary,2898 there1563 they crucified4717 him,846 and2532 the3588 malefactors,2557 one3739 3303 on1537 the right hand,1188 and1161 the other3739 on1537 the left.710

33 到了一個地方，名叫「髑髏地」，就在那裏把耶穌釘在十字架上，又釘了兩個犯人：一個在左邊，一個在右邊。

34 Then1161 said3004 Jesus,2424 Father,3962 forgive863 them;846 for1063 they know1492 not3756 what5101 they do.4160 And1161 they parted1266 his846 raiment,2440 and cast906 lots.2819

34 當下耶穌說：「父啊，饒恕［forgive］他們；因為他們所作的，他們不曉得。」兵丁就分他的衣服，並且擲籤［parted his raiment, and cast lots］。

35 And2532 the3588 people2992 stood2476 beholding.2334 And1161 the3588 rulers758 also2532 with4862 them846 derided1592 him, saying,3004 He saved4982 others;243 let him save4982 himself,1438 if1487 he3778 be2076 Christ,5547 the3588 chosen1588 of God.2316

35 百姓站在那裏觀看。官長［rulers］也和他們［with them］嗤笑他，說：「他救了別人；他若是基督，神所揀選的，可以救自己吧。」

36 And1161 the3588 soldiers4757 also2532 mocked1702 him,846 coming to4334 him, and2532 offering4374 him846 vinegar,3690

36 兵丁也戲弄他，上前拿醋送給他喝，

37 And2532 saying,3004 If1487 thou4771 be1488 the3588 king935 of the3588 Jews,2453 save4982 thyself.4572

37 說：「你若是猶太人的王，可以救自己吧。」

38 And1161 a superscription1923 also2532 was2258 written1125 over1909 him846 in letters1121 of Greek,1673 and2532 Latin,4513 and2532 Hebrew,1444 THIS3778 IS2076 THE3588 KING935 OF THE3588 JEWS.2453

38 在耶穌以上有一個牌子，用希臘［Greek］、拉丁［Latin］和希伯來［Hebrew］的文字［in letters of］寫著：「這是猶太人的王。」

39 And1161 one1520 of the3588 malefactors2557 which were hanged2910 railed on987 him,846 saying,3004 If1487 thou4771 be1488 Christ,5547 save4982 thyself4572 and2532 us.2248

39 那同釘的兩個犯人有一個譏誚他，說：「你若是基督［If thou be Christ］，可以救自己和我們吧。」

40 But1161 the3588 other2087 answering611 rebuked2008 him,846 saying,3004 Dost not3761 thou4771 fear5399 God,2316 seeing3754 thou art1488 in1722 the3588 same846 condemnation?2917

40 那一個卻［But］應聲責備他，說：「你既是一樣受刑的，還不怕神嗎？

41 And2532 we2249 indeed3303 justly;1346 for1063 we receive618 the due reward514 of our deeds:3739 4238 but1161 this man3778 hath done4238 nothing3762 amiss.824

41 我們是應該的；因我們所受的與我們所作的相稱。但這個人沒有作過一件不好的事。」

42 And2532 he said3004 unto Jesus,2424 Lord,2962 remember3415 me3450 when3752 thou comest2064 into1722 thy4675 kingdom.932

42 就對耶穌［unto Jesus］說：「主［Lord］啊，你進入你國［comest into thy kingdom］的時候，求你記念我。」

43 And2532 Jesus2424 said2036 unto him,846 Verily281 I say3004 unto thee,4671 Today4594 shalt thou be2071 with3326 me1700 in1722 paradise.3857

43 耶穌對他說：「我實在告訴你：『今日你要同我在樂園裏了。』」

44 And1161 it was2258 about5616 the sixth1623 hour,5610 and2532 there was1096 a darkness4655 over1909 all3650 the3588 earth1093 until2193 the ninth1766 hour.5610

44 那時約有午正，遍地都黑暗了，直到申初。

45 And2532 the3588 sun2246 was darkened,4654 and2532 the3588 veil2665 of the3588 temple3485 was rent4977 in the midst.3319

45 日頭變黑了，殿裏的幔子從當中裂為兩半。

46 And2532 when Jesus2424 had cried5455 with a loud3173 voice,5456 he said,2036 Father,3962 into1519 thy4675 hands5495 I commend3908 my3450 spirit: 4151 and2532 having said2036 thus,5023 he gave up the ghost.1606

46 耶穌大聲喊著說：「父啊，我將我的靈［spirit］交在你手裏。」他［he］說了這話，氣就斷了。

47 Now1161 when the3588 centurion1543 saw1492 what was done,1096 he glorified1392 God,2316 saying,3004 Certainly3689 this3778 was2258 a righteous1342 man.444

47 百夫長看見所成的事，就歸榮耀與神，說：「這真是個義人。」

48 And2532 all3956 the3588 people3793 that came together4836 to1909 that5026 sight,2335 beholding2334 the things which were done,1096 smote5180 their1438 breasts,4738 and returned.5290

48 聚集觀看的眾百姓［all the people］見了這所成的事，都捶著胸，回去了。

49 And1161 all3956 his846 acquaintance,1110 and2532 the women1135 that followed4870 him846 from575 Galilee,1056 stood2476 afar off,3113 beholding3708 these things.5023

49 還有一切與耶穌熟識的人，和從加利利跟著他來的婦女們，都遠遠的站著看這些事。

50 And,2532 behold,2400 there was a man435 named3686 Joseph,2501 a5225 counselor;1010 and he was a good18 man,435 and2532 a just: 1342

50 誰知［behold］有一個人名叫約瑟，是個議士；為人善良公義。

51 (The same3778 had2258 not3756 consented4784 to the3588 counsel1012 and2532 deed4234 of them;)846 he was of575 Arimathaea,707 a city4172 of the3588 Jews:2453 who3739 also2532 himself846 waited for4327 the3588 kingdom932 of God.2316

51 （眾人所謀所為，他並沒有附從；）他是猶太中亞利馬太城裏的人。他又是等侯［also himself waited］神國的［who］。

52 This3778 man went4334 unto Pilate,4091 and begged154 the3588 body4983 of Jesus.2424

52 這人去見彼拉多，求耶穌的身體。

53 And2532 he took it down,2507 846 and wrapped1794 it846 in linen,4616 and2532 laid5087 it846 in1722 a sepulcher3418 that was hewn in stone,2991 wherein3757 never man3762 3764 before3756 was2258 laid.2749

53 他［he］取下來，用細麻布裹好，就［and］安放在石頭鑿成的墳墓裏，那裏頭從來沒有葬過人。

54 And2532 that day2250 was2258 the preparation,3904 and2532 the sabbath4521 drew on.2020

54 那日是預備日，安息日也快到了。

55 And1161 the women1135 also,2532 which3748 came with2258 4905 him846 from1537 Galilee,1056 followed after,2628 and beheld2300 the3588 sepulcher,3419 and2532 how5613 his846 body4983 was laid.5087

55 那些從加利利和耶穌同來的婦女，也［also］跟在後面，看見了墳墓和他的身體怎樣安放。

56 And1161 they returned,5290 and prepared2090 spices759 and2532 ointments;3464 and2532 rested2270 the3588 3303 sabbath day4521 according2596 to the3588 commandment.1785

56 她們就回去，預備了香料香膏；她們在安息日，便遵著誡命安息了。
