2 For one3739 3303 believeth4100 that he may eat5315 all things:3956 1161 another,3588 who is weak,770 eateth2068 herbs.3001

3 Let not3361 him that eateth2068 despise1848 him that eateth not;2068 3361 and2532 let not3361 him which eateth not2068 3361 judge2919 him that eateth:2068 for1063 God2316 hath received4355 him.846

13 Let us not therefore judge2919 3767 one another240 any more:3371 but235 judge2919 this5124 rather,3123 that no man3361 put5087 a stumblingblock4348 or2228 an occasion to fall4625 in his brother's80 way.

14 I know,1492 and2532 am persuaded3982 by1722 the Lord2962 Jesus,2424 that3754 there is nothing3762 unclean2839 of1223 itself:1438 but1508 to him that esteemeth3049 any thing5100 to be1511 unclean,2839 to him1565 it is unclean.2839

19 686 Let us therefore follow after1377 3767 the things3588 which make for peace,1515 and2532 things3588 wherewith one may edify3619 1519 another.240

20 For1752 meat1033 destroy2647 not3361 the3588 work2041 of God.2316 All things3956 indeed3303 are pure;2513 but235 it is evil2556 for that man444 who eateth2068 with1223 offense.4348

1 信心軟弱的，你們要接納，卻不要接納生疑的辯論［but not to doubtful disputations］。

2 有人信百物都可吃；但那軟弱的，只吃蔬菜。

3 吃的人不可輕看不吃的人；不吃的人不可論斷吃的人；因為神已經收納他了。

4 你是誰，竟論斷別人的僕人呢？他或站住，或跌倒，自有他的主人在；而且他也必得扶持［be holden up］，因為神［God］能使他站住。

5 有人看這日比那日強；有人看日日都是一樣。只是各人心裏要意見堅定。

6 守日的人，是為主守的；不守日的人［and he that regardeth not the day］，是為主不守的［to the Lord he doth not regard it］；吃的人，是為主吃的，因他感謝神；不吃的人，是為主不吃的，也感謝神。

7 我們沒有一個人為自己活，也沒有一個人為自己死。

8 我們若活著，是為主而活；若死了，是為主而死。所以，我們或活或死總是主的人。

9 因此基督死了，又起來［rose］活了，為要作死人並活人的主。

10 你這個人，為甚麼論斷你兄弟［thy brother］呢？又為甚麼輕看你兄弟［thy brother］呢？因我們都要站在基督的審判台［judgment seat of Christ］前。

11 經上寫著：「主說：『我憑著我的永生起誓：諸膝［every knee］必向我跪拜，眾舌［every tongue］必向神［God］承認。』」

12 這樣看來，我們各人必要將自己的事在神面前說明。

13 所以，我們不可再彼此論斷，寧可定意誰也不給弟兄放下絆腳跌人之物。

14 我憑著主耶穌確知深信，凡物本來沒有不潔淨的；唯獨人以為不潔淨的，在他就不潔淨了。

15 你若因你的［thy］食物叫你兄弟［thy brother］憂愁，就不是按著愛心而行［walkest thou not charitably］。基督已經替他死，你不可因你的食物叫他敗壞。

16 不可叫你的善被人毀謗；

17 因為神的國不在乎吃喝，只在乎公義、平安［peace］，並聖靈中的喜樂。

18 在這幾樣上服事基督的，就為神所喜悅，又為人所稱許。

19 所以，我們務要追求和睦的事與彼此造就［edify］的事。

20 不可因食物毀壞神的工程。凡物固然潔淨，但有人因食物叫人跌倒，就是他的罪了。

21 無論是吃肉、是喝酒、是甚麼別的事，叫兄弟［brother］絆倒［stumbleth］、或得罪兄弟［or is offended］、或使兄弟軟弱［or is made weak］，一概不作才好。

22 你有信心麼［Hast thou faith］？就當在神面前守著。人在自己以為可行的事上能不自責，就有福了。

23 若有疑心而吃的，就被咒詛［is damned］。因為他吃，不是出於信心。凡不出於信心的都是罪。

15 你若因你的［thy］食物叫你兄弟［thy brother］憂愁，就不是按著愛心而行［walkest thou not charitably］。基督已經替他死，你不可因你的食物叫他敗壞。
