第55篇

1 （此大闈所作以訓迪其民使伶長鼓琴歌之）上帝兮、垂聽我祈、勿我遐棄、

2 我心忡忡、有懷欲吐、望爾俯聞兮、

3 維彼仇敵、大聲而呼、強者虐予、委予惡名、中心銜憾、加以驅逐兮。

4 我甚痛心、臨死而懼、

5 戰栗悚惶、觳觫不勝兮、

6 余竊有言、願得羽翩、如彼飛鴿、將翱將翔、安居自得兮、

7 余必遠遊、處於曠野、

8 今予罹害、如遇狂飈、予將速避兮。

9 敵人在城、強暴相爭、予求上主、翦滅是行擾亂其謀、使之弗成兮、

10 維彼晝夜、巡行邑垣、中有強悍、殘害人民、

11 逵衢之間、恒有惡黨、或行詭譎、或尚詐偽。

12 今有人焉、矜矜詡侮予、非予寇讎、非予仇隙、設或是之、猶可隱忍、杜門不出、

13 予知斯人、乃予同儔、乃予密友、

14 昔與心交、同詣上帝之室、

15 今彼第宅、惡人充盈、願彼速亡、墮於幽冥。

16 耶和華兮、我之上帝、予將禱告、冀其手援、

17 晨夕亭午、予必呼籲、主其聽聞、

18 予敵衆多、咸集攻予、主必拯救、錫予平康、

19 永生上帝、俯聽我祈、敗亡予敵、維彼敵人、不更故轍、不畏上帝、

20 逆其友朋、背其盟約、

21 其口滑稽、如酥如油、心懷殺機、其詞柔媚、同於膏沐、利於鋒刃。

22 凡爾義人、以百事付諸耶和華、蒙彼眷祐、必不傾危兮、

23 暴虐妄作、中年短折、陷於坎阱、上帝使然、予惟上帝是賴兮。

3 Because of the voice6963 of the enemy,341 because6440 of the oppression6125 of the wicked:7563 for they cast4131 iniquity205 on me, and in wrath639 they hate7852 me.

4 My heart3820 is sore pained2342 within7130 me: and the terrors367 of death4194 are fallen5307 on me.

5 Fearfulness3374 and trembling7460 are come935 on me, and horror6427 has overwhelmed3680 me.

6 And I said,559 Oh that I had wings83 like a dove!3123 for then would I fly5774 away, and be at rest.7931

18 He has delivered6299 my soul5315 in peace7965 from the battle7128 that was against me: for there were many7227 with me.
