1 Why4100 stand5975 you afar7350 off, O LORD?3068 why hide5956 you yourself in times6256 of trouble?6869

2 The wicked7563 in his pride1346 does persecute1814 the poor:6041 let them be taken8610 in the devices4209 that they have imagined.2803

3 For the wicked7563 boasts1984 of his heart's5315 desire,8378 and blesses1288 the covetous,1214 whom the LORD3068 abhors.5006

4 The wicked,7563 through the pride1363 of his countenance,639 will not seek1875 after God430: God is not in all3605 his thoughts.4209

5 His ways1870 are always3605 6256 grievous;2342 your judgments4941 are far5048 above4791 out of his sight:5048 as for all3605 his enemies,6887 he puffs6315 at them.

6 He has said559 in his heart,3820 I shall not be moved:4131 for I shall never1755 be in adversity.7451

7 His mouth6310 is full4390 of cursing423 and deceit4820 and fraud:8496 under8478 his tongue3956 is mischief5999 and vanity.205

3 飽其欲而自矜﹑取不義而自足、於耶和華而欺之兮。

4 惡者驕泰、以爲上帝不加考察、而屬於虛無兮、

5 旣所爲之如志、復災眚之弗及、所以藐視讐敵兮、

6 以爲吾身不遭憂患、子孫不至艱危兮、

7 厥口咒詛、詭詐是施兮、厥舌謠諑、殘害是爲兮。 

8 在其鄉黨、匿跡歧途兮、陰害煢獨、私殺無辜兮。

9 彼若獅兮、穴視而耽耽、執貧民兮、羅網之是張、攘奪之是行兮、

10 遭糜爛、被陷害、弱制於強兮、

11 惡者謂上帝不及知兮、蒙蔽厥面、永不鑒斯兮、

12 願耶和華勃然而興兮、施厥巨能、毋忘貧民兮。 

13 毋使惡人凌侮、謂上帝不加研究兮、

14 爾實鑒察、灼知殘害、而報之兮、貧民惟爾是賴、    

15 作惡者流、願爾摧傷、窮詰厥罪而弗宥兮。

16 耶和華爲君、永世靡曁兮、異邦之民、見絕於斯地兮、

17 貧者上祈、耶和華傾耳垂聽、而堅其志兮、
