2 The wicked7563 in his pride1346 does persecute1814 the poor:6041 let them be taken8610 in the devices4209 that they have imagined.2803

3 For the wicked7563 boasts1984 of his heart's5315 desire,8378 and blesses1288 the covetous,1214 whom the LORD3068 abhors.5006

4 The wicked,7563 through the pride1363 of his countenance,639 will not seek1875 after God430: God is not in all3605 his thoughts.4209

5 His ways1870 are always3605 6256 grievous;2342 your judgments4941 are far5048 above4791 out of his sight:5048 as for all3605 his enemies,6887 he puffs6315 at them.

6 He has said559 in his heart,3820 I shall not be moved:4131 for I shall never1755 be in adversity.7451

7 His mouth6310 is full4390 of cursing423 and deceit4820 and fraud:8496 under8478 his tongue3956 is mischief5999 and vanity.205

1 耶和華啊，你為甚麼站在遠處？在患難的時候你［thou］為甚麼隱藏？

2 惡人在驕橫中逼迫困苦人［persecute the poor］；願他們陷在自己所設的計謀裏。

3 因為惡人以心願自誇；又祝福貪財的［and blesseth the covetous］，就是耶和華所憎惡的［whom the LORD abhorreth］。

4 惡人面帶驕傲，並不尋求神［will not seek after God］；他一切所想的都沒有神［God is not in all his thoughts］。

5 凡他所作的，時常使人愁苦［always grievous］；你的審判超過他的眼界。至於他一切的敵人，他都向他們噴氣。

6 他心裏說：我必不動搖。因我必永不遭災［for I shall never be in adversity］。

7 他滿口是咒罵、詭詐、巧計［fraud］；舌底是毒害、虛妄［vanity］。

8 他在村莊埋伏等候；他在隱密處殺害無辜的人；他的眼睛窺探窮乏［poor］的人。

9 他隠密埋伏［lieth in wait secretly］，如獅子蹲在洞中；他埋伏，要擄去困苦人；他拉網，就把困苦人擄去。

10 他屈身蹲伏，要使窮乏人倒在他的強暴人之下［that the poor may fall by his strong ones］。

11 他心裏說：神已［hath］忘記了。他掩面；他必［he will］永不觀看。

12 耶和華啊，求你起來；神啊，求你舉手。不要忘記謙卑人［the humble］。

13 惡人為何藐視［contemn］神呢？他［he］心裏曾說［hath said］：你必不追究。

14 其實你已經觀看；因為奸惡毒害，你都看見了，為要以你的［thy］手施行報應。窮乏［poor］的人把自己交託你；你是［thou art］幫助無父之人［fatherless］的。

15 願你打斷惡人壞人的膀臂［arm of the wicked and the evil man］；願你追究他的惡，直到淨盡。

16 耶和華永永遠遠為王；異教的民［heathen］從他的地已經滅絕了。

17 耶和華啊，謙卑人的心願，你早已聽見［heard］；你必預備他們的心，也必側耳聽他們的祈求；

18 為要給無父的人［fatherless］和受欺壓的人斷事［judge］，使地上［of the earth］的人不再欺壓［oppress］他們。
