2 Which834 imagine2803 mischiefs7451 in their heart;3820 continually3605 3117 are they gathered1481 together for war.4421

3 They have sharpened8150 their tongues3956 like a serpent;5175 adders'5919 poison2534 is under8478 their lips.8193 Selah.5542

4 Keep8104 me, O LORD,3068 from the hands3027 of the wicked;7563 preserve5341 me from the violent2555 man;376 who834 have purposed2803 to overthrow1760 my goings.6471

5 The proud1343 have hid2934 a snare6341 for me, and cords;2256 they have spread6566 a net7568 by the wayside;3027 4570 they have set7896 gins4170 for me. Selah.5542

10 Let burning784 coals1513 fall4131 on them: let them be cast5307 into the fire;784 into deep4113 pits, that they rise6965 not up again.

11 Let not an evil speaker376 3956 be established3559 in the earth:776 evil7451 shall hunt6679 the violent2555 man376 to overthrow4073 him.

12 I know3045 that the LORD3068 will maintain6213 the cause1779 of the afflicted,6041 and the right4941 of the poor.34

1 （大衛的詩，交與伶長。）耶和華啊，求你拯救我脫離凶惡的人，保護我脫離強暴的人。

2 他們心中圖謀奸惡，常常聚集要爭戰。

3 他們使舌頭尖利如蛇，嘴唇下［under their lips］有蝰蛇的毒液［adders’ poison］。細拉。

4 耶和華啊，求你拯救我脫離惡人的手，保護我脫離強暴的人。他們圖謀推我跌倒。

5 驕傲人為我暗設網羅和繩索；他們在路旁鋪下網，為我［for me］設下圈套。細拉。

6 我曾對耶和華說：你是我的神。耶和華啊，求你留心聽我懇求的聲音。

7 主─耶和華、我救恩的力量啊，在爭戰的日子，你遮蔽了我的頭。

8 耶和華啊，求你不要達［Grant］惡人的心願；不要成就他們的計謀，恐怕他們自高。細拉。

9 至於那些昂首圍困我的人，願他們嘴唇的奸惡遮蔽［cover］自己。

10 願火炭落在他們身上。願他們被丟在火中，拋在深坑裏，不能再起來。

11 說惡言的人在地上必堅立不住；禍患必獵取強暴的人，將他打倒。

12 我知道耶和華必為困苦人伸冤，必為窮乏人辨屈。

13 義人必要稱謝［thanks］你的名；正直人必住在你面前。
