1 To the chief5329 Musician,5329 A Psalm4210 of David.1732 Hear8085 my voice,6963 O God,430 in my prayer:7879 preserve5341 my life2416 from fear6343 of the enemy.341

2 Hide5641 me from the secret5475 counsel5475 of the wicked;7489 from the insurrection7285 of the workers6466 of iniquity:205

3 Who834 whet8150 their tongue3956 like a sword,2719 and bend1869 their bows to shoot their arrows,2671 even bitter4751 words:1697

4 That they may shoot3384 in secret4565 at the perfect:8535 suddenly6597 do they shoot3384 at him, and fear3372 not.

5 They encourage2388 themselves in an evil7451 matter:1697 they commune5608 of laying2934 snares4170 privately;2934 they say,559 Who4310 shall see7200 them?

6 They search2664 out iniquities;5766 they accomplish8552 a diligent search:2665 both the inward7130 thought of every376 one376 of them, and the heart,3820 is deep.6013

7 But God430 shall shoot3384 at them with an arrow;2671 suddenly6597 shall they be wounded.4347

8 So they shall make their own tongue3956 to fall3782 on themselves: all3605 that see7200 them shall flee5074 away.

9 And all3605 men120 shall fear,3372 and shall declare5046 the work6467 of God;430 for they shall wisely7919 consider7919 of his doing.4639

10 The righteous6662 shall be glad8056 in the LORD,3068 and shall trust2620 in him; and all3605 the upright3477 in heart3820 shall glory.1984

1 （大衛的詩，交與伶長。）神啊，我禱告［prayer］的時候，求你聽我的聲音。求你保護我的性命，不受仇敵的驚恐。

2 求你把我隱藏，使我脫離作惡之人的暗謀和作孽之人的擾亂。

3 他們磨舌如刀，發出苦毒的言語，好像彎弓而射［bend their bows to shoot］的箭，

4 要在暗地射完全人；他們忽然射他，並不懼怕。

5 他們彼此勉勵設下惡計；他們商量暗設網羅，說：誰能看見？

6 他們圖謀奸惡，極力圖謀［they accomplish a diligent search］；他們各人的意念和［and］心思都［both］是深的。

7 但神要射他們；他們忽然被箭射傷。

8 他們必然跌倒［fall］，被自己的舌頭所害；凡看見他們的必都逃跑［flee away］。

9 眾人都要害怕，要傳揚神的工作，並且明白他的作為。

10 義人必因耶和華歡喜，並要投靠他；凡心裏正直的人都要誇口。
