Chapter 2

1 AND the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

2 Every man of the children of Israel shall encamp by his own standard, at the places of their father's house; far off round about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they encamp.

3 Those who encamp first toward the east shall be of the standard of the camp of Judah throughout their armies; and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be chief of the children of Judah.

4 And the number of his host was seventy-four thousand and six hundred.

5 And those who encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Issachar; and Nethanael the son of Zuar shall be chief of the children of Issachar.

6 And the number of his host was fifty-four thousand and four hundred.

7 Then shall encamp the tribe of Zebulun; and Eliab the son of Helen shall be chief of the children of Zebulun.

8 And the number of his host was fifty-seven thousand and four hundred.

9 The total number of the camp of Judah was one hundred and eighty-six thousand and four hundred, throughout their armies. They shall march first.

10 On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their armies; and the chief of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.

11 And the number of his host was forty-six thousand and five hundred.

12 And those who encamp by him shall be the tribe of Simeon; and the chief of the children of Simeon shall be Shelmuiel the son of Zurishaddai.

13 And the number of his host was fifty-nine thousand and three hundred.

14 Then shall encamp the tribe of Gad; and the chief of the sons of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel.

15 And the number of his host was forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty.

16 The total number of the camp of Reuben was one hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundred and fifty, throughout their armies. They shall march in the second place.

17 Then the tabernacle of the congregation shall march with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camps; as they encamped so shall they march, every man by his standard throughout their armies.

18 On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies; and the chief of the children of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.

19 And the number of his host was forty thousand and five hundred.

20 And those who encamp by him shall be the tribe of Manasseh; and the chief of the children of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Perzur.

21 And the number of his host was thirty-two thousand and two hundred.

22 Then shall encamp the tribe of Benjamin; and the chief of the sons of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni.

23 And the number of his host was thirty-five thousand and four hundred.

24 The total number of the camp of Ephraim was an hundred and eight thousand and one hundred, throughout their armies. They shall march in the third place.

25 The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side by their armies; and the chief of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

26 And the number of his host was sixty-two thousand and seven hundred.

27 And those that encamp by him shall be the tribe of Asher; and the chief of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran.

28 And the number of his host was forty-one thousand and five hundred.

29 Then shall encamp the tribe of Naphtali; and the chief of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahida the son of Enan.

30 And the number of his host was fifty-three thousand and four hundred.

31 The total number of the camp of Dan was a hundred and fifty-seven thousand and six hundred. They shall march last with their standards.

32 These are the numbers of the children of Israel by the house of their fathers; all those who were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

33 But the Levites and the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.

34 And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses; so they marched by their standards, and so they encamped, every man in his camp, according to the house of his fathers.

4 В его войске 74 600 мужчин.

5 Род Иссахара пусть ставит стан рядом с ними. Вождь рода Иссахара – Нетанил, сын Цуара.

6 В его войске 54 400 мужчин.

7 Рядом будет род Завулона. Вождь рода Завулона – Элиав, сын Хелона.

8 В его войске 57 400 мужчин.

9 Всего мужчин в стане Иуды по их войскам 186 400. Они будут отправляться в путь первыми.

10 Пусть на юге будет стан Рувима под своим знаменем. Вождь рода Рувима – Элицур, сын Шедеура.

11 В его войске 46 500 мужчин.

12 Род Шимона пусть ставит стан рядом с ними. Вождь рода Шимона – Шелумиил, сын Цуришаддая.

13 В его войске 59 300 мужчин.

14 Рядом – род Гада. Вождь рода Гада – Элиасаф, сын Деуила.

15 В его войске 45 650 мужчин.

16 Всего мужчин в стане Рувима по их войскам 151 450. Они будут отправляться в путь вторыми.

17 Затем, пусть в середине станов отправляется в путь шатёр встречи и стан левитов. Они будут отправляться в путь в том порядке, в каком ставят стан, каждый на своём месте, под своим знаменем.

18 Пусть на западе будет стан Ефраима под своим знаменем. Вождь рода Ефраима – Элишама, сын Аммихуда.

19 В его войске 40 500 мужчин.

20 После них будет род Манассы. Вождь рода Манассы – Гамалиил, сын Педацура.

21 В его войске 32 200 мужчин.

22 Потом будет род Вениамина. Вождь рода Вениамина – Авидан, сын Гидеони.

23 В его войске 35 400 мужчин.

24 Всего мужчин в стане Ефраима по их войскам 108 100. Они будут отправляться в путь третьими.

25 Пусть на севере будет стан Дана под своим знаменем. Вождь рода Дана – Ахиезер, сын Аммишаддая.

26 В его войске 62 700 мужчин.

27 Род Ашира будет ставить стан возле них. Вождь рода Ашира – Пагиил, сын Охрана.

28 В его войске 41 500 мужчин.

29 Потом будет род Неффалима. Вождь рода Неффалим – это Ахира, сын Енана.

30 В его войске 53 400 мужчин.

31 Всего мужчин в стане Дана 157 600 мужчин. Они будут отправляться в путь последними под своими знамёнами.

32 Это исраильтяне, исчисленные по их семьям. Всего в станах – по ополчениям – 603 550 человек.

33 Лишь левиты не были исчислены с остальными исраильтянами – так повелел Мусе Вечный.

34 Исраильтяне сделали всё, что повелел Мусе Вечный. Они вставали станом под своими знамёнами и также отправлялись в путь – каждый со своим кланом и семьёй.

9 The total number of the camp of Judah was one hundred and eighty-six thousand and four hundred, throughout their armies. They shall march first.

9 Всего мужчин в стане Иуды по их войскам 186 400. Они будут отправляться в путь первыми.

24 The total number of the camp of Ephraim was an hundred and eight thousand and one hundred, throughout their armies. They shall march in the third place.

24 Всего мужчин в стане Ефраима по их войскам 108 100. Они будут отправляться в путь третьими.

25 The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side by their armies; and the chief of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

29 Then shall encamp the tribe of Naphtali; and the chief of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahida the son of Enan.

29 Потом будет род Неффалима. Вождь рода Неффалим – это Ахира, сын Енана.

30 And the number of his host was fifty-three thousand and four hundred.

30 В его войске 53 400 мужчин.

31 The total number of the camp of Dan was a hundred and fifty-seven thousand and six hundred. They shall march last with their standards.

31 Всего мужчин в стане Дана 157 600 мужчин. Они будут отправляться в путь последними под своими знамёнами.

32 These are the numbers of the children of Israel by the house of their fathers; all those who were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

32 Это исраильтяне, исчисленные по их семьям. Всего в станах – по ополчениям – 603 550 человек.

33 But the Levites and the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.

33 Лишь левиты не были исчислены с остальными исраильтянами – так повелел Мусе Вечный.

34 And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses; so they marched by their standards, and so they encamped, every man in his camp, according to the house of his fathers.

34 Исраильтяне сделали всё, что повелел Мусе Вечный. Они вставали станом под своими знамёнами и также отправлялись в путь – каждый со своим кланом и семьёй.
