Ezekiel

Chapter 10

1 THEN I looked, and behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubim there appeared over them something with the appearance of a sapphire stone, and the form of a throne.

2 And the voice spoke to the man clothed in linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherubim; and fill your hand with the coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city. And he went in my sight.

3 Now the cherubim were standing on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.

4 Then the glory of God went up from the cherub that stood over the threshhold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD'S glory.

5 And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard as far as the outer court, like the voice of God when he speaks.

6 And it came to pass, when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubim; he went in and stood beside the wheels.

7 Then one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubim to the fire that was between the cherubim, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of the man who was clothed with linen, who took it and went out.

8 And I looked, and behold, there appeared in the cherubim the form of a man's hand under their wings.

9 And I looked, and behold, there were four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside each cherub, and the appearance of the wheels was like the color of beryl stone.

10 And as for their appearance and the form, the four of them were alike, as if a wheel were in the midst of a wheel.

11 When they went, they went upon four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the first one went they followed it, they turned not as they went.

12 And their whole body and their backs and their hands and their wings and the wheels were full of eyes when they turned on their sides.

13 And as for the wheels, he called them Rolling Wheels, in my presence.

14 And every one of them had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

15 And the cherubim were lifted up. This is the same living creature that I saw by the river Chebar.

16 And when the cherubim went, the wheels also went beside them; and when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels also turned not from beside them.

17 When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these were lifted up also; when the cherubim lifted their wings, the wheels also lifted up with them; for the spirit of life was in them.

18 Then the glory of the LORD departed from the corner of the temple, and stood over the cherubim.

19 And the cherubim lifted up their wings and mounted up from the earth in my sight; when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and they stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD'S house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them.

20 These were the living creatures that I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubim.

21 Each one had four faces, and each one four wings; and the likeness of a man's hand was under their wings.

22 And as for the likeness of their faces, they were like the same faces that I saw by the river Chebar, and their appearance was the same; they went every one straight forward.

2 И говорил559 Он человеку,376 одетому3847 в льняную906 одежду, и сказал:559 войди935 между996 колесами1534 под Херувимов3742 и возьми4390 полные4390 пригоршни2651 горящих784 угольев1513 между996 Херувимами,3742 и брось2236 на город;5892 и он вошел935 в моих глазах.5869

3 Херувимы3742 же стояли5975 по правую3225 сторону3225 дома,1004 когда вошел935 тот человек,376 и облако6051 наполняло4390 внутренний6442 двор.2691

4 И поднялась7311 слава3519 Господня3068 с Херувима3742 к порогу4670 дома,1004 и дом1004 наполнился4390 облаком,6051 и двор2691 наполнился4390 сиянием5051 славы3519 Господа.3068

5 И шум6963 от крыльев3671 Херувимов3742 слышен8085 был8085 даже на внешнем2435 дворе,2691 как бы глас6963 Бога410 Всемогущего,7706 когда Он говорит.1696

6 И когда Он дал6680 повеление6680 человеку,376 одетому3847 в льняную906 одежду, сказав:559 «возьми3947 огня784 между колесами,1534 между Херувимами»,3742 и когда он вошел935 и стал5975 у681 колеса,212 —

7 тогда из среды Херувимов3742 один Херувим3742 простер7971 руку3027 свою к огню,784 который между Херувимами,3742 и взял5375 и дал5414 в пригоршни2651 одетому3847 в льняную906 одежду. Он взял3947 и вышел.3318

8 И видно7200 было7200 у Херувимов3742 подобие8403 рук3027 человеческих120 под крыльями3671 их.

9 И видел7200 я: и вот четыре702 колеса212 подле681 Херувимов,3742 по одному259 колесу212 подле каждого259 Херувима,3742 и колеса212 по виду5869 как4758 бы из камня68 топаза.8658

10 И по виду4758 все четыре702 сходны,2591823 как будто бы колесо212 находилось в8432 колесе.212

11 Когда шли3212 они, то шли3212 на четыре702 свои стороны;7253 во время шествия3212 своего не оборачивались,5437 но к тому месту,4725 куда обращена6437 была6437 голова,7218 и они туда шли;3212310 во время шествия3212 своего не оборачивались.5437

12 И все тело1320 их, и спина1354 их, и руки3027 их, и крылья3671 их, и колеса212 кругом5439 были полны4392 очей,5869 все четыре702 колеса212 их.

13 К колесам212 сим, как я слышал,241 сказано7121 было:7121 «галгал».1534

14 И у каждого259 из животных четыре702 лица:6440 первое259 лице6440 — лице6440 херувимово,3742 второе8145 лице6440 — лице6440 человеческое,120 третье7992 лице6440 львиное738 и четвертое7243 лице6440 орлиное.5404

15 Херувимы3742 поднялись.7426 Это были те же животные,2416 которых видел7200 я при реке5104 Ховаре.3529

16 И когда шли3212 Херувимы,3742 тогда шли3212 подле681 них и колеса;212 и когда Херувимы3742 поднимали5375 крылья3671 свои, чтобы подняться7311 от земли,776 и колеса212 не отделялись,5437 но были при681 них.

17 Когда те стояли,5975 стояли5975 и они; когда те поднимались,7311 поднимались7426 и они; ибо в них был дух7307 животных.2416

20 Это были те же животные,2416 которых видел7200 я в подножии Бога430 Израилева3478 при реке5104 Ховаре.3529 И я узнал,3045 что это Херувимы.3742

21 У каждого259 по259 четыре702 лица,6440 и у каждого259 по четыре702 крыла,3671 и под крыльями3671 их подобие1823 рук3027 человеческих.120

5 And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard as far as the outer court, like the voice of God when he speaks.

6 And it came to pass, when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubim; he went in and stood beside the wheels.

9 And I looked, and behold, there were four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside each cherub, and the appearance of the wheels was like the color of beryl stone.

10 And as for their appearance and the form, the four of them were alike, as if a wheel were in the midst of a wheel.

11 When they went, they went upon four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the first one went they followed it, they turned not as they went.

12 And their whole body and their backs and their hands and their wings and the wheels were full of eyes when they turned on their sides.

16 And when the cherubim went, the wheels also went beside them; and when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels also turned not from beside them.

17 When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these were lifted up also; when the cherubim lifted their wings, the wheels also lifted up with them; for the spirit of life was in them.
