Das Evangelium nach Matthäus

Kapitel 12

1 Zu1722 der1565 Zeit2540 ging4198 JEsus2424 durch1223 die Saat4702 am Sabbat4521; und1161 seine846 Jünger3101 waren hungrig3983, fingen an756, Ähren4719 auszuraufen5089, und2532 aßen2068.

2 Da das3739 die Pharisäer5330 sahen1492, sprachen2036 sie1161 zu1722 ihm846: Siehe2400, deine4675 Jünger3101 tun4160, was sich1832 nicht3756 ziemt1832, am Sabbat4521 zu tun4160.

3 Er846 aber1161 sprach2036 zu ihnen: Habt ihr846 nicht3756 gelesen314, was5101 David1138 tat4160, da3753 ihn3983 und2532 die mit3326 ihm waren, hungerte,

4 wie4459 er846 in1519 das3739 Gotteshaus2316 ging1525 und25325315 die Schaubrote, die ihm846 doch nicht3756 ziemten zu essen5315, noch3761 denen, die mit3326 ihm waren2258, sondern1508 allein3441 den Priestern2409?

5 Oder2228 habt ihr nicht3756 gelesen314 im1722 Gesetz3551, wie die Priester2409 am Sabbat4521 im1722 Tempel2411 den Sabbat4521 brechen953 und3754 sind1526 doch2532 ohne Schuld338?

6 Ich sage3004 aber1161 euch5213, daß3754 hier5602 der ist2076, der auch größer ist denn3187 der Tempel2411.

7 Wenn1487 ihr aber1161 wüßtet1097, was5101‘ das sei2076: Ich302 habe2309 Wohlgefallen an der Barmherzigkeit1656 und2532 nicht3756 am Opfer2378, hättet ihr die Unschuldigen338 nicht3756 verdammt.

8 Des Menschen Sohn ist2076 ein HErr2962 auch2532 über den444 Sabbat4521.

9 Und2532 er846 ging von1564 dannen fürbaß und kam2064 in1519 ihre Schule4864.

10 Und2532 siehe2400, da war2258 ein Mensch444, der hatte2192 eine verdorrete Hand5495. Und2532 sie846 fragten1905 ihn und sprachen3004: Ist‘s auch recht1832 am Sabbat4521 heilen2323? auf daß2443 sie846 eine Sache2723 wider ihn hätten.

11 Aber1161 er846 sprach2036 zu ihnen846: Welcher5101 ist2071 unter1537 euch5216, so1437 er2902 ein Schaf4263 hat2192, das3739 ihm5124 am Sabbat4521 in1519 eine Grube999 fällt1706, der1520 es nicht3780 ergreife2902 und2532 aufhebe1453?

12 Wieviel4214 besser1308 ist nun3767 ein Mensch444 denn ein Schaf4263! Darum5620 mag1832 man wohl2573 am Sabbat4521 Gutes tun4160.

13 Da5119 sprach3004 er zu dem Menschen444: Strecke1614 deine4675 Hand5495 aus! Und2532 er streckte1614 sie aus; und2532 sie ward600 ihm wieder gesund5199 gleichwie5613 die andere243.

14 Da gingen die Pharisäer5330 hinaus1831 und1161 hielten2983 einen Rat4824 über2596 ihn846, wie3704 sie846 ihn umbrächten622.

15 Aber1161 da1564 JEsus2424 das erfuhr1097, wich402 er846 von dannen. Und2532 ihm folgte viel4183 Volks3793 nach190, und2532 er846 heilete sie alle3956.

16 und2532 bedräuete sie846, daß3363 sie846 ihn nicht3363 meldeten5318,

17 auf daß3704 erfüllet würde4137, was3588 gesagt ist4483 durch1223 den Propheten4396 Jesaja2268, der da spricht3004:

18 Siehe2400, das3739 ist mein3450 Knecht3816, den ich erwählet habe140, und2532 mein3450 Liebster27, an1909 dem meine3450 See LE5590 Wohlgefallen2106 hat; ich will meinen3450 Geist4151 auf1519 ihn legen5087, und er846 soll den Heiden1484 das3739 Gericht2920 verkündigen518.

19 Er846 wird nicht3756 zanken2051 noch3761 schreien2905, und man5100 wird sein Geschrei5456 nicht3761 hören191 auf1722 den Gassen4113.

20 Das zerstoßene4937 Rohr2563 wird er nicht3756 zerbrechen2608 und2532 den glimmenden5188 Docht3043 wird er nicht3756 auslöschen4570, bis daß er ausführe1544 das Gericht2920 zum1519 Sieg3534.

21 Und2532 die Heiden1484 werden1679 auf1722 seinen846 Namen3686 hoffen1679.

22 Da5119 ward ein Besessener1139 zu ihm846 gebracht4374, der war2532 blind5185 und2532 stumm2974; und2532 er846 heilete ihn also, daß5620 der Blinde5185 und2532 Stumme2974 beides, redete2980 und2532 sah991.

23 Und2532 alles3956 Volk3793 entsetzte sich1839 und2532 sprach3004: Ist2076 dieser3778 nicht3385 Davids1138 Sohn?

24 Aber1161 die191 Pharisäer5330, da sie es höreten, sprachen2036 sie: Er3778 treibet die Teufel1140 nicht3756 anders aus1544 als durch1722 Beelzebub954, der Teufel1140 Obersten758.

25 JEsus2424 vernahm aber1161 ihre1438 Gedanken1761 und2532 sprach2036 zu ihnen846: Ein jeglich Reich932, so es846 mit2596 sich selbst1438 uneins wird3307, das1492 wird3307 wüste, und eine3956 jegliche Stadt4172 oder2228 Haus3614, so es mit2596 sich selbst uneins wird, mag‘s2476 nicht3756 bestehen2476.

26 So2532 denn1487 ein Satan4567 den andern austreibt1544, so3767 muß er mit1909 sich selbst1438 uneins sein3307; wie4459 mag2476 denn sein Reich932 bestehen2476?

27 So2532 ich1473 aber1487 die Teufel1140 durch1722 Beelzebub954 austreibe1544, durch1722 wen5101 treiben sie846 eure5216 Kinder aus1544? Darum1223 werden sie eure5216 Richter2923 sein2071.

28 So1487 ich1473 aber1161 die Teufel1140 durch1909 den Geist4151 Gottes2316 austreibe1544, so686 ist je das932 Reich Gottes2316 zu1722 euch5209 kommen.

29 Oder2228 wie4459 kann1410 jemand5100 in1519 eines Starken2478 Haus3614 gehen1525 und2532 ihm seinen846 Hausrat4632 rauben1283, es sei denn3362, daß er846 zuvor den Starken2478 binde1210 und4412 alsdann5119 ihm sein Haus beraube?

30 Wer nicht3361 mit3326 mir1700 ist5607, der ist2076 wider2596 mich1700, und2532 wer nicht3361 mit3326 mir1700 sammelt4863, der zerstreuet.

31 Darum sage3004 ich5124 euch5213: Alle3956 Sünde266 und2532 Lästerung988 wird863 den444 Menschen vergeben863, aber1161 die Lästerung988 wider den444 Geist4151 wird den Menschen nicht3756 vergeben863.

32 Und2532 wer302 etwas redet2036 wider2596 des846 Menschen Sohn, dem3739 wird863 es846 vergeben863; aber wer302 etwas redet2036 wider2596 den444 Heiligen40 Geist4151, dem wird‘s3195 nicht3756 vergeben863, weder3777 in1722 dieser5129 noch3777 in1722 jener Welt165.

33 Setzet entweder einen guten2570 Baum1186, so2532 wird4160 die846 Frucht2590 gut2570; oder2228 setzet einen faulen4550 Baum1186, so2532 wird4160 die Frucht2590 faul4550; denn2228 an1537 der Frucht2590 erkennet man den846 Baum1186.

34 Ihr1410 Otterngezüchte, wie4459 könnet ihr Gutes18 reden2980, dieweil ihr böse4190 seid? Wes1063 das5607 Herz2588 voll4051 ist1081, des gehet der1537 Mund4750 über.

35 Ein guter18 Mensch444 bringet Gutes18 hervor1544 aus1537 seinem guten18 Schatz2344 des1537 Herzens2588, und2532 ein böser4190 Mensch444 bringet Böses hervor aus1544 seinem bösen4190 Schatz2344.

36 Ich sage3004 euch5213 aber1161, daß3754 die Menschen444 müssen Rechenschaft3056 geben591 am1722 Jüngsten2250 Gericht2920 von einem3956 jeglichen unnützen692 Wort4487, das1437 sie846 geredet haben2980.

37 Aus1537 deinen4675 Worten3056 wirst du gerechtfertiget werden1344 und1063 aus1537 deinen4675 Worten3056 wirst du verdammt werden2613.

38 Da5119 antworteten611 etliche5100 unter den Schriftgelehrten1122 und2532 Pharisäern5330 und sprachen3004: Meister1320, wir wollten2309 gerne ein Zeichen4592 von575 dir4675 sehen1492.

39 Und1161 er846 antwortete611 und2532 sprach2036 zu ihnen: Die böse4190 und2532 ehebrecherische3428 Art1074 sucht1934 ein Zeichen4592, und es wird ihr846 kein3756 Zeichen4592 gegeben1325 werden denn1508 das Zeichen4592 des Propheten4396 Jona2495.

40 Denn1063 gleichwie5618 Jona2495 war2258 drei5140 Tage2250 und2532 drei5140 Nächte3571 in1722 des Walfisches2785 Bauch2836, also3779 wird des Menschen444 Sohn drei5140 Tage2250 und2532 drei5140 Nächte3571 mitten2588 in1722 der Erde1093 sein2071.

41 Die Leute435 von Ninive3536 werden auftreten450 am1519 Jüngsten Gerichte2920 mit1722 diesem5026 Geschlechte und2532 werden es verdammen2632; denn3754 sie taten Buße3340 nach3326 der Predigt2782 des846 Jona2495. Und2532 siehe2400, hier5602 ist mehr denn4119 Jona2495.

42 Die Königin938 von1537 Mittag3558 wird2920 auftreten1453 am Jüngsten Gerichte mit3326 diesem5026 Geschlecht1074 und2532 wird es verdammen2632; denn3754 sie846 kam2064 vom Ende4009 der Erde1093, Salomos4672 Weisheit4678 zu1722 hören191. Und2532 siehe2400, hier5602 ist mehr denn4119 Salomo4672.

43 Wenn3752 der unsaubere169 Geist4151 von575 dem Menschen444 ausgefahren ist1831, so2532 durchwandelt1223 er1330 dürre504 Stätten5117, suchet2212 Ruhe372 und1161 findet2147 sie nicht3756.

44 Da5119 spricht3004 er denn: Ich will wieder umkehren1994 in1519 mein3450 Haus3624, daraus3606 ich gegangen bin1831. Und2532 wenn er kommt2064, so findet2147 er‘s müßig, gekehret und2532 geschmückt2885.

45 So5119 gehet er hin4198 und2532 nimmt zu sich3880 sieben2033 andere2087 Geister4151, die1438 ärger sind4191 denn5501 er selbst1438; und2532 wenn sie hineinkommen, wohnen2730 sie allda1563, und2532 wird1096 mit3326 demselben1565 Menschen444 hernach2078 ärger, denn es vorhin war4413. Also3779 wird‘s2071 auch2532 diesem5026 argen4190 Geschlecht1074 gehen1525.

46 Da2532 er noch2089 also zu dem Volk3793 redete2980, siehe2400, da stunden seine846 Mutter3384 und1161 seine846 Brüder80 draußen1854, die wollten2212 mit ihm reden2980.

47 Da sprach einer5100 zu ihm846: Siehe2400, deine4675 Mutter3384 und1161 deine Brüder80 stehen2476 draußen1854 und2532 wollen mit dir4675 reden2036.

48 Er846 antwortete611 aber1161 und2532 sprach2036 zu dem, der es ihm846 ansagte: Wer5101 ist2076 meine3450 Mutter3384, und wer5101 sind1526 meine3450 Brüder80?

49 Und2532 reckte die Hand5495 aus1614 über1909 seine Jünger3101 und2532 sprach2036: Siehe2400 da, das ist meine3450 Mutter3384 und meine3450 Brüder80.

50 Denn1063 wer302 den3588 Willen2307 tut4160 meines3450 Vaters3962 im1722 Himmel3772, derselbige ist2076 mein3450 Bruder80, Schwester79 und2532 Mutter3384.

Matthew

Chapter 12

1 AT that time, Jesus walked on the sabbath through the wheat fields; and his disciples became hungry, and they began to pluck ears of wheat and eat.

2 But when the Pharisees saw them, they said to him, Behold, your disciples are doing what is unlawful to do on the sabbath.

3 But he said to them, Have you not read what David did, when he and those who were with him were hungry?

4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat bread that was on the table of the Lord, that which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests?

5 Or, have you not read in the book of law, that the priests in the temple disregard the sabbath, and yet are blameless?

6 But I say to you, that there is one here, who is greater than the temple.

7 But if you only knew what it means, I want mercy and not sacrifice, you would not condemn those who are blameless.

8 For the Son of man is Lord of the sabbath.

9 And Jesus departed from thence and came to their synagogue.

10 And there was a man there whose hand was withered. And they questioned him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath? that they might accuse him.

11 He said to them, Who is the man among you who has only one sheep, and if it should fall into a pit on the sabbath, would he not take hold of it and lift it up?

12 How much more important is a man than a sheep? It is therefore lawful to do good on the sabbath.

13 Then he said to the man, Stretch out your hand. And he stretched out his hand, and it was restored like the other.

14 And the Pharisees went out, and they took counsel concerning him, so as to do away with him.

15 But Jesus knew of it, and departed from thence; and a great many people followed him, and he healed them all.

16 And he charged them not to say where he was,

17 So that what was said by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled, who said,

18 Behold my servant with whom I am pleased, my beloved one, in whom my soul rejoices; I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will preach justice to the peoples.

19 He will not argue, nor will he cry aloud; and no man will hear his voice in the street.

20 He will not break even a bruised reed, and he will not extinguish a flickering lamp, until he brings justice to victory;

21 And in his name will the peoples find hope.

22 Then they brought near to him a lunatic, who was also dumb and blind; and he healed him, so that the dumb and blind man could speak and see.

23 All the people were amazed and said, Perhaps this man is the son of David?

24 But when the Pharisees heard of it, they said, This man does not cast out demons, except by Beelzebub, the prince of demons.

25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them, Every kingdom which is divided against itself, will be destroyed; and every house or city that is divided against itself, will not stand.

26 And if Satan cast out Satan. he is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand?

27 So if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by what do your sons cast them out? for this reason they will be your judges.

28 And if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come near to you.

29 Or, how can a man enter into a strong man's house and plunder his goods, except he first bind the strong man, and then he plunders his house?

30 He who is not with me is against me; and he who does not gather with me, shall be dispersed.

31 Therefore I say to you, that all sins and blasphemies will be forgiven to men; but the blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven to men.

32 And whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven, neither in this world nor in the world to come.

33 Either produce like a good tree with good fruits, or produce like a bad tree with bad fruits; for a tree is known by its fruits.

34 O generation of scorpions, how can you speak good things when you are bad? For the mouth speaks from the fullness of the heart.

35 A good man brings out good things from good treasures, and a bad man brings out bad things from bad treasures.

36 For I say to you, that for every foolish word which men speak, they will have to answer for it on the day of judgment.

37 For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be found guilty.

38 Then some of the men of the scribes and Pharisees answered and said to him, Teacher, we would like to see a sign from you.

39 But he answered and said to them, An evil and adulterous generation wants a sign; and no sign will be given to it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah.

40 For as Jonah was in the whale's belly three days and three nights, so the Son of man will be in the heart of the earth, three days and three nights.

41 Even the men of Nineveh will rise up in judgment with this generation, and find it guilty; for they repented through the preaching of Jonah, and behold, a greater than Jonah is here.

42 The queen of the south will rise up in judgment with this generation, and find it guilty; for she came from the far ends of the earth that she might hear Solomon's wisdom, and behold a greater than Solomon is here.

43 When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, it travels in places where there is no water, and seeks rest, and does not find it.

44 Then it says, I will return to my own house from whence I came out; so it comes back and finds it empty, warm, and well furnished.

45 Then it goes away and brings with it seven other spirits worse than itself, and they enter and live in it; and the end of that man becomes worse than at first. Such will happen to this evil generation.

46 While he was speaking to the people, his mother and his brothers came and stood outside, and wanted to speak with him.

47 Then a man said to him, Behold your mother and your brothers are standing outside, and they want to speak with you.

48 But he answered and said to him who told him, Who is my mother and who are my brothers?

49 And he pointed his hand to his disciples and said, Behold my mother, and behold my brothers.

50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven, he is my brother and my sister and my mother.

18 Siehe2400, das3739 ist mein3450 Knecht3816, den ich erwählet habe140, und2532 mein3450 Liebster27, an1909 dem meine3450 See LE5590 Wohlgefallen2106 hat; ich will meinen3450 Geist4151 auf1519 ihn legen5087, und er846 soll den Heiden1484 das3739 Gericht2920 verkündigen518.

18 Behold my servant with whom I am pleased, my beloved one, in whom my soul rejoices; I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will preach justice to the peoples.

19 Er846 wird nicht3756 zanken2051 noch3761 schreien2905, und man5100 wird sein Geschrei5456 nicht3761 hören191 auf1722 den Gassen4113.

19 He will not argue, nor will he cry aloud; and no man will hear his voice in the street.

20 Das zerstoßene4937 Rohr2563 wird er nicht3756 zerbrechen2608 und2532 den glimmenden5188 Docht3043 wird er nicht3756 auslöschen4570, bis daß er ausführe1544 das Gericht2920 zum1519 Sieg3534.

20 He will not break even a bruised reed, and he will not extinguish a flickering lamp, until he brings justice to victory;

21 Und2532 die Heiden1484 werden1679 auf1722 seinen846 Namen3686 hoffen1679.

21 And in his name will the peoples find hope.

22 Da5119 ward ein Besessener1139 zu ihm846 gebracht4374, der war2532 blind5185 und2532 stumm2974; und2532 er846 heilete ihn also, daß5620 der Blinde5185 und2532 Stumme2974 beides, redete2980 und2532 sah991.

22 Then they brought near to him a lunatic, who was also dumb and blind; and he healed him, so that the dumb and blind man could speak and see.

23 Und2532 alles3956 Volk3793 entsetzte sich1839 und2532 sprach3004: Ist2076 dieser3778 nicht3385 Davids1138 Sohn?

23 All the people were amazed and said, Perhaps this man is the son of David?

24 Aber1161 die191 Pharisäer5330, da sie es höreten, sprachen2036 sie: Er3778 treibet die Teufel1140 nicht3756 anders aus1544 als durch1722 Beelzebub954, der Teufel1140 Obersten758.

24 But when the Pharisees heard of it, they said, This man does not cast out demons, except by Beelzebub, the prince of demons.

25 JEsus2424 vernahm aber1161 ihre1438 Gedanken1761 und2532 sprach2036 zu ihnen846: Ein jeglich Reich932, so es846 mit2596 sich selbst1438 uneins wird3307, das1492 wird3307 wüste, und eine3956 jegliche Stadt4172 oder2228 Haus3614, so es mit2596 sich selbst uneins wird, mag‘s2476 nicht3756 bestehen2476.

25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them, Every kingdom which is divided against itself, will be destroyed; and every house or city that is divided against itself, will not stand.

26 So2532 denn1487 ein Satan4567 den andern austreibt1544, so3767 muß er mit1909 sich selbst1438 uneins sein3307; wie4459 mag2476 denn sein Reich932 bestehen2476?

26 And if Satan cast out Satan. he is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand?

27 So2532 ich1473 aber1487 die Teufel1140 durch1722 Beelzebub954 austreibe1544, durch1722 wen5101 treiben sie846 eure5216 Kinder aus1544? Darum1223 werden sie eure5216 Richter2923 sein2071.

27 So if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by what do your sons cast them out? for this reason they will be your judges.

28 So1487 ich1473 aber1161 die Teufel1140 durch1909 den Geist4151 Gottes2316 austreibe1544, so686 ist je das932 Reich Gottes2316 zu1722 euch5209 kommen.

28 And if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come near to you.

29 Oder2228 wie4459 kann1410 jemand5100 in1519 eines Starken2478 Haus3614 gehen1525 und2532 ihm seinen846 Hausrat4632 rauben1283, es sei denn3362, daß er846 zuvor den Starken2478 binde1210 und4412 alsdann5119 ihm sein Haus beraube?

29 Or, how can a man enter into a strong man's house and plunder his goods, except he first bind the strong man, and then he plunders his house?

30 Wer nicht3361 mit3326 mir1700 ist5607, der ist2076 wider2596 mich1700, und2532 wer nicht3361 mit3326 mir1700 sammelt4863, der zerstreuet.

30 He who is not with me is against me; and he who does not gather with me, shall be dispersed.

31 Darum sage3004 ich5124 euch5213: Alle3956 Sünde266 und2532 Lästerung988 wird863 den444 Menschen vergeben863, aber1161 die Lästerung988 wider den444 Geist4151 wird den Menschen nicht3756 vergeben863.

31 Therefore I say to you, that all sins and blasphemies will be forgiven to men; but the blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven to men.

32 Und2532 wer302 etwas redet2036 wider2596 des846 Menschen Sohn, dem3739 wird863 es846 vergeben863; aber wer302 etwas redet2036 wider2596 den444 Heiligen40 Geist4151, dem wird‘s3195 nicht3756 vergeben863, weder3777 in1722 dieser5129 noch3777 in1722 jener Welt165.

32 And whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven, neither in this world nor in the world to come.

33 Setzet entweder einen guten2570 Baum1186, so2532 wird4160 die846 Frucht2590 gut2570; oder2228 setzet einen faulen4550 Baum1186, so2532 wird4160 die Frucht2590 faul4550; denn2228 an1537 der Frucht2590 erkennet man den846 Baum1186.

33 Either produce like a good tree with good fruits, or produce like a bad tree with bad fruits; for a tree is known by its fruits.

34 Ihr1410 Otterngezüchte, wie4459 könnet ihr Gutes18 reden2980, dieweil ihr böse4190 seid? Wes1063 das5607 Herz2588 voll4051 ist1081, des gehet der1537 Mund4750 über.

34 O generation of scorpions, how can you speak good things when you are bad? For the mouth speaks from the fullness of the heart.

35 Ein guter18 Mensch444 bringet Gutes18 hervor1544 aus1537 seinem guten18 Schatz2344 des1537 Herzens2588, und2532 ein böser4190 Mensch444 bringet Böses hervor aus1544 seinem bösen4190 Schatz2344.

35 A good man brings out good things from good treasures, and a bad man brings out bad things from bad treasures.

36 Ich sage3004 euch5213 aber1161, daß3754 die Menschen444 müssen Rechenschaft3056 geben591 am1722 Jüngsten2250 Gericht2920 von einem3956 jeglichen unnützen692 Wort4487, das1437 sie846 geredet haben2980.

36 For I say to you, that for every foolish word which men speak, they will have to answer for it on the day of judgment.

37 Aus1537 deinen4675 Worten3056 wirst du gerechtfertiget werden1344 und1063 aus1537 deinen4675 Worten3056 wirst du verdammt werden2613.

37 For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be found guilty.

38 Da5119 antworteten611 etliche5100 unter den Schriftgelehrten1122 und2532 Pharisäern5330 und sprachen3004: Meister1320, wir wollten2309 gerne ein Zeichen4592 von575 dir4675 sehen1492.

38 Then some of the men of the scribes and Pharisees answered and said to him, Teacher, we would like to see a sign from you.

39 Und1161 er846 antwortete611 und2532 sprach2036 zu ihnen: Die böse4190 und2532 ehebrecherische3428 Art1074 sucht1934 ein Zeichen4592, und es wird ihr846 kein3756 Zeichen4592 gegeben1325 werden denn1508 das Zeichen4592 des Propheten4396 Jona2495.

39 But he answered and said to them, An evil and adulterous generation wants a sign; and no sign will be given to it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah.

40 Denn1063 gleichwie5618 Jona2495 war2258 drei5140 Tage2250 und2532 drei5140 Nächte3571 in1722 des Walfisches2785 Bauch2836, also3779 wird des Menschen444 Sohn drei5140 Tage2250 und2532 drei5140 Nächte3571 mitten2588 in1722 der Erde1093 sein2071.

40 For as Jonah was in the whale's belly three days and three nights, so the Son of man will be in the heart of the earth, three days and three nights.

41 Die Leute435 von Ninive3536 werden auftreten450 am1519 Jüngsten Gerichte2920 mit1722 diesem5026 Geschlechte und2532 werden es verdammen2632; denn3754 sie taten Buße3340 nach3326 der Predigt2782 des846 Jona2495. Und2532 siehe2400, hier5602 ist mehr denn4119 Jona2495.

41 Even the men of Nineveh will rise up in judgment with this generation, and find it guilty; for they repented through the preaching of Jonah, and behold, a greater than Jonah is here.

42 Die Königin938 von1537 Mittag3558 wird2920 auftreten1453 am Jüngsten Gerichte mit3326 diesem5026 Geschlecht1074 und2532 wird es verdammen2632; denn3754 sie846 kam2064 vom Ende4009 der Erde1093, Salomos4672 Weisheit4678 zu1722 hören191. Und2532 siehe2400, hier5602 ist mehr denn4119 Salomo4672.

42 The queen of the south will rise up in judgment with this generation, and find it guilty; for she came from the far ends of the earth that she might hear Solomon's wisdom, and behold a greater than Solomon is here.

43 Wenn3752 der unsaubere169 Geist4151 von575 dem Menschen444 ausgefahren ist1831, so2532 durchwandelt1223 er1330 dürre504 Stätten5117, suchet2212 Ruhe372 und1161 findet2147 sie nicht3756.

43 When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, it travels in places where there is no water, and seeks rest, and does not find it.

44 Da5119 spricht3004 er denn: Ich will wieder umkehren1994 in1519 mein3450 Haus3624, daraus3606 ich gegangen bin1831. Und2532 wenn er kommt2064, so findet2147 er‘s müßig, gekehret und2532 geschmückt2885.

44 Then it says, I will return to my own house from whence I came out; so it comes back and finds it empty, warm, and well furnished.

45 So5119 gehet er hin4198 und2532 nimmt zu sich3880 sieben2033 andere2087 Geister4151, die1438 ärger sind4191 denn5501 er selbst1438; und2532 wenn sie hineinkommen, wohnen2730 sie allda1563, und2532 wird1096 mit3326 demselben1565 Menschen444 hernach2078 ärger, denn es vorhin war4413. Also3779 wird‘s2071 auch2532 diesem5026 argen4190 Geschlecht1074 gehen1525.

45 Then it goes away and brings with it seven other spirits worse than itself, and they enter and live in it; and the end of that man becomes worse than at first. Such will happen to this evil generation.

46 Da2532 er noch2089 also zu dem Volk3793 redete2980, siehe2400, da stunden seine846 Mutter3384 und1161 seine846 Brüder80 draußen1854, die wollten2212 mit ihm reden2980.

46 While he was speaking to the people, his mother and his brothers came and stood outside, and wanted to speak with him.

47 Da sprach einer5100 zu ihm846: Siehe2400, deine4675 Mutter3384 und1161 deine Brüder80 stehen2476 draußen1854 und2532 wollen mit dir4675 reden2036.

47 Then a man said to him, Behold your mother and your brothers are standing outside, and they want to speak with you.

48 Er846 antwortete611 aber1161 und2532 sprach2036 zu dem, der es ihm846 ansagte: Wer5101 ist2076 meine3450 Mutter3384, und wer5101 sind1526 meine3450 Brüder80?

48 But he answered and said to him who told him, Who is my mother and who are my brothers?

49 Und2532 reckte die Hand5495 aus1614 über1909 seine Jünger3101 und2532 sprach2036: Siehe2400 da, das ist meine3450 Mutter3384 und meine3450 Brüder80.

49 And he pointed his hand to his disciples and said, Behold my mother, and behold my brothers.

50 Denn1063 wer302 den3588 Willen2307 tut4160 meines3450 Vaters3962 im1722 Himmel3772, derselbige ist2076 mein3450 Bruder80, Schwester79 und2532 Mutter3384.

50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven, he is my brother and my sister and my mother.
