1 In den letzten319 Tagen3117 aber wird der Berg2022, darauf des HErrn3068 Haus1004 stehet, gewiß3559 sein5375, höher denn alle Berge7218, und über die Hügel1389 erhaben sein.

2 Und die Völker werden herzulaufen, und viel7227 Heiden1471 werden gehen3212 und sagen559: Kommt, laßt uns hinauf zum Berge2022 des HErrn3068 gehen3212 und zum Hause1004 des Gottes430 Jakobs3290, daß er3384 uns lehre seine Wege1870, und wir auf5927 seiner Straße734 wandeln1980! Denn aus3318 Zion6726 wird das Gesetz8451 ausgehen und des HErrn3068 Wort1697 aus Jerusalem3389.

3 Er wird unter großen7227 Völkern1471 richten8199 und viel Heiden1471 strafen3198 in fernen7350 Landen. Sie werden ihre Schwerter2719 zu Pflugscharen855 und ihre Spieße2595 zu Sicheln4211 machen3807. Es wird kein Volk5971 wider das1471 andere ein Schwert2719 aufheben und werden nicht5375 mehr6099 kriegen4421 lernen3925.

4 Ein376 jeglicher wird2729 unter seinem Weinstock1612 und Feigenbaum8384 wohnen3427 ohne Scheu; denn der Mund6310 des HErrn3068 Zebaoth6635 hat‘s1696 geredet.

5 Denn ein376 jeglich Volk5971 wird wandeln3212 im Namen8034 seines Gottes430; aber wir werden wandeln3212 im Namen8034 des HErrn3068, unsers Gottes430, immer5703 und ewiglich5769.

6 Zur selbigen Zeit3117, spricht5002 der HErr3068, will ich die Lahme versammeln622 und die Verstoßene5080 zuhauf6908 bringen, und die ich geplaget habe7489.

7 Und will die Lahme machen7760, daß sie Erben haben soll, und die Verstoßene zum großen6099 Volk1471 machen; und der HErr3068 wird König4427 über sie sein auf dem Berge2022 Zion6726 von nun an bis5704 in Ewigkeit5769.

8 Und du Turm4026 Eder, eine Feste6076 der Tochter1323 Zion6726, es wird857 deine güldene Rose kommen935, die vorige7223 Herrschaft4475, das Königreich4467 der Tochter1323 Jerusalem3389.

9 Warum hängst du dich denn jetzt an andere Freunde? Ist der König4428 nicht6 bei dir, und sind deine Ratgeber3289 alle hinweg, daß dich also das Weh2427 ankommen ist wie eine in Kindesnöten?

10 Lieber, leide doch solch Weh und935 krächze, du Tochter1323 Zion6726, wie eine in Kindesnöten! Denn du mußt zwar zur Stadt7151 hinaus und auf dem Felde7704 wohnen7931 und gen Babel894 kommen3318; aber doch wirst du von dannen wieder errettet werden3205. Daselbst wird2342 dich der HErr3068 erlösen1350 von deinen3709 Feinden341.

11 Denn es werden622 schier sich5869 viel7227 Heiden1471 wider dich rotten und sprechen: Sie559 ist verbannet; wir wollen unsere Lust an Zion6726 sehen2372.

12 Aber sie wissen des HErrn3068 Gedanken4284 nicht und merken3045 seinen Ratschlag6098 nicht, daß995 er sie zuhauf6908 gebracht hat wie Garben5995 auf der Tenne1637.

13 Darum mache dich auf und7760 dresche, du Tochter1323 Zion6726! Denn ich will dir eiserne1270 Hörner7161 und2428 eherne5154 Klauen6541 machen7760, und sollst viel Völker5971 zerschmeißen; so7227 will ich ihr Gut1215 dem HErrn3068 verbannen2763 und ihre Habe6965 dem Herrscher113 der ganzen Welt776.

14 Aber nun, du Kriegerin, rüste dich! Denn man wird uns belagern und den Richter Israels mit der Rute auf den Backen schlagen.

Chapter 4

1 BUT it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and all people shall gather to it.

2 And many nations shall come and say, Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths; for the law shall go forth out of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

3 And he shall judge between many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into sickles; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and there shall be none to harm them; for the mouth of the LORD of hosts has spoken it.

5 For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.

6 In that day, says the LORD, I will gather those who are afar off, and I will bring near those who have been driven out and those whom I have afflicted.

7 And I will make those who have been driven out a remnant, and those who are afar off a strong nation; and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.

8 And you, O gloomy ruler of the daughter of Zion, your time has come, and the former ruler of the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem is coming.

9 Now why do you commit iniquity? Is there no king in you? Or have your counsellors perished? For pangs have taken you like a woman in travail.

10 Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail; for now you shall go forth out of the city, and you shall dwell in the desert, and you shall go even to Babylon; there you shall be delivered; there the LORD shall save you from the hand of your enemies.

11 Now many nations shall gather against you, who say, Let Zion be defiled, and let our eyes look upon it.

12 But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither do they understand his counsel; for he shall gather them as sheaves into the threshing floor.

13 Arise and thresh them, O daughter of Zion; for I will make your horns of iron, and your hoofs of brass; and you shall beat in pieces many peoples; and I will consecrate their possessions to the LORD, and their wealth to the LORD of the whole earth.
