1 A Prayer8605 of Moses4872 the man376 of God.430 Lord,136 you have been1961 our dwelling4583 place in all generations.1755

2 Before2962 the mountains2022 were brought3205 forth,3205 or ever you had formed2342 the earth776 and the world,8398 even from everlasting5769 to everlasting,5769 you are God.410

3 You turn7725 man582 to destruction;1793 and say,559 Return,7725 you children1121 of men.120

4 For a thousand505 years8141 in your sight5869 are but as yesterday865 when3588 it is past,5674 and as a watch821 in the night.3915

5 You carry2229 them away as with a flood;2229 they are as a sleep:8142 in the morning1242 they are like grass2682 which grows2498 up.

6 In the morning1242 it flourishes,6692 and grows2498 up; in the evening6153 it is cut4135 down, and wither.3001

7 For we are consumed3615 by your anger,639 and by your wrath2534 are we troubled.926

3 爾使人歸土、語之曰、爾儕世人、當返其本兮、

4 自爾視之、雖歷千年、無異片晷、同於宵漏兮、

5 人之沒世、譬諸夢寐、譬諸草之萌棄兮、

6 清晨向榮、芽發蕊舒、至夕翦刈、遂槁枯兮、

7 爾震怒、則余毀傷兮、爾發憤、則予驚惶兮、

8 余有罪愆、爾癉之兮、余有隱匿、爾柑之兮、

9 爾怒奮揚、余壽俱亡、歲月易過、恍若中心之轉念兮、

10 人生歲數、無過七十、如體壯健、可冀八旬、雖以遐齡自詡、而已晚景之彌艱、生命將絕、如鳥高飛、焂忽不見兮、
