1 A Psalm of David.1732 Plead7378 my cause, O LORD,3068 with them that strive3401 with me: fight3898 against them that fight3898 against me.

2 Take2388 hold2388 of shield4043 and buckler,6793 and stand6965 up for my help.5833

3 Draw7324 out also the spear,2595 and stop5462 the way against7125 them that persecute7291 me: say559 to my soul,5315 I am your salvation.3444

4 Let them be confounded954 and put to shame3637 that seek1245 after my soul:5315 let them be turned5472 back268 and brought2659 to confusion2659 that devise2803 my hurt.7451

5 Let them be as chaff4671 before6440 the wind:7307 and let the angel4397 of the LORD3068 chase1760 them.

6 Let their way1870 be dark2822 and slippery:2519 and let the angel4397 of the LORD3068 persecute7291 them.

7 For without2600 cause2600 have they hid2934 for me their net7568 in a pit,7845 which without2600 cause2600 they have dig2658 for my soul.5315

8 Let destruction7722 come935 on him at unawares;3045 and let his net7568 that he has hid2934 catch3920 himself: into that very destruction7722 let him fall.5307

9 And my soul5315 shall be joyful1523 in the LORD:3068 it shall rejoice7797 in his salvation.3444

10 All3605 my bones6106 shall say,559 LORD,3068 who4310 is like3644 to you, which deliver5337 the poor6041 from him that is too strong2389 for him, yes, the poor6041 and the needy34 from him that spoils1497 him?

11 False2555 witnesses5707 did rise6965 up; they laid to my charge7592 things that I knew3045 not.

12 They rewarded7999 me evil7451 for good2896 to the spoiling7908 of my soul.5315

13 But as for me, when they were sick,2470 my clothing3830 was sackcloth:8242 I humbled6031 my soul5315 with fasting;6685 and my prayer8605 returned7725 into5921 my own bosom.2436

14 I behaved1980 myself as though he had been my friend7453 or brother:251 I bowed7817 down7817 heavily,6957 as one that mourns57 for his mother.517

15 But in my adversity6761 they rejoiced,8055 and gathered622 themselves together: yes, the attackers5222 gathered622 themselves together against5921 me, and I knew3045 it not; they did tear7167 me, and ceased1826 not:

16 With hypocritical2611 mockers3934 in feasts,4580 they gnashed2786 on me with their teeth.8127

17 Lord,136 how4100 long5704 will you look7200 on? rescue7725 my soul5315 from their destructions,7722 my darling3173 from the lions.3715

18 I will give you thanks3034 in the great7227 congregation:6951 I will praise1984 you among much7227 people.5971

19 Let not them that are my enemies341 wrongfully8267 rejoice8055 over me: neither let them wink7169 with the eye5869 that hate8130 me without2600 a cause.2600

20 For they speak1696 not peace:7965 but they devise2803 deceitful4820 matters1697 against5921 them that are quiet7282 in the land.776

21 Yes, they opened their mouth6310 wide7337 against5921 me, and said,559 Aha,253 aha,253 our eye5869 has seen7200 it.

22 This2088 you have seen,7200 O LORD:3068 keep not silence:2790 O Lord,3068 be not far7368 from me.

23 Stir5782 up yourself, and awake6974 to my judgment,4941 even to my cause,7379 my God430 and my Lord.136

24 Judge8199 me, O LORD3068 my God,430 according to your righteousness;6664 and let them not rejoice8055 over me.

25 Let them not say559 in their hearts,3820 Ah,253 so would5315 we have it: let them not say,559 We have swallowed1104 him up.

5 願他們像風前的糠，有耶和華的天使［angel］趕逐他們。

6 願他們的道路又暗又滑；有耶和華的天使［angel］逼迫［persecute］他們。

7 因他們無故地為我暗設網羅，無故地挖坑，要害我的性命。

8 願災禍忽然臨到他身上。願他暗設的網纏住自己。願他落在其中遭災禍。

9 我的心必靠耶和華快樂，靠他的救恩高興。

10 我的骨頭都要說：耶和華啊，誰能像你救護困苦人脫離那比他強壯的，救護困苦窮乏人脫離那搶奪他的？

11 假［False］見證人起來，控告我［laid to my charge］所不知道的事。

12 他們向我以惡報善，以我的性命為擄物［to the spoiling of my soul］。

13 至於我，當他們有病的時候，我便穿麻衣，禁食，謙卑［humbled］己心；我所求的都歸到自己的懷中。

14 我這樣行，好像他是我的朋友，我的兄弟［brother］；我屈身悲哀，如同人為母親哀痛。

15 我在患難中，他們卻歡喜，大家聚集。我所不認識的那些下流人聚集攻擊我；他們不住地把我撕裂。

16 席上好嬉笑的偽善［hypocritical］人，他們向我咬牙切齒［they gnashed upon me with their teeth］。

17 主啊，你看著不理要到幾時呢？求你救我的命［soul］脫離他們的殘害，救我所親愛的［darling］脫離少壯獅子。

18 我在大會中要稱謝你，在眾民中要讚美你。

19 求你不容那無理與我為仇的向我誇耀。不容那無故恨我的向我眨［wink］眼。

20 因為他們不說和平話，倒想出詭詐的事［matters］害地上的安靜人。

21 他們大大張口攻擊我，說：啊哈，啊哈，我們的眼已經看見了。

22 耶和華啊，你已經看見了，求你不要閉口。主啊，求你不要遠離我。
