1 A Psalm4210 and Song7892 at the dedication2598 of the house1004 of David.1732 I will extol7311 you, O LORD;3068 for you have lifted1802 me up, and have not made my foes341 to rejoice8055 over me.

2 O LORD3068 my God,430 I cried7768 to you, and you have healed7495 me.

3 O LORD,3068 you have brought5927 up my soul5315 from the grave:7585 you have kept me alive,2421 that I should not go3381 down3381 to the pit.953

4 Sing2167 to the LORD,3068 O you saints2623 of his, and give thanks3034 at the remembrance2143 of his holiness.6944

5 For his anger639 endures but a moment;7281 in his favor7522 is life:2416 weeping1065 may endure3885 for a night,6153 but joy7440 comes in the morning.1242

6 And in my prosperity7961 I said,559 I shall never3808 5769 be moved.4131

7 LORD,3068 by your favor7522 you have made my mountain2042 to stand5975 strong:5797 you did hide5641 your face,6440 and I was troubled.926

8 I cried7121 to you, O LORD;3068 and to the LORD3068 I made supplication.2603

9 What4100 profit1215 is there in my blood,1818 when I go3381 down3381 to the pit?7845 Shall the dust6083 praise3034 you? shall it declare5046 your truth?571

10 Hear,8085 O LORD,3068 and have mercy2603 on me: LORD,3068 be you my helper.5826

11 You have turned2015 for me my mourning4553 into dancing:4234 you have put6605 off my sackcloth,8242 and girded247 me with gladness;8057

12 To the end4616 that my glory3519 may sing2167 praise to you, and not be silent.1826 O LORD3068 my God,430 I will give thanks3034 to you for ever.5769

Psalm 30

1 I WILL extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

2 O LORD, my God, I have sought thee, and thou hast healed me.

3 Thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol; thou hast saved me that I should not join those who go down to the pit.

4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

5 For there is rebuke in his anger and life in his good will; weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

6 In my security I said, I shall never be moved.

7 O God, by thy favor thou hast increased my glory; thou didst turn away thy face, and I was troubled.

8 I cried to thee, O LORD, and unto the LORD I made supplication.

9 What profit is there in shedding my blood, when I go down to corruption? The dust will not praise thee and it will not declare thy truth.

10 Hear, O God, and have mercy upon me; O LORD, be thou my helper.

11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into joy; thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

12 Therefore, I will sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD, my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
