2 Let my sentence4941 come3318 forth3318 from your presence;6440 let your eyes5869 behold2372 the things that are equal.4339

3 You have proved974 my heart;3820 you have visited6485 me in the night;3915 you have tried6884 me, and shall find4672 nothing;1077 I am purposed2161 that my mouth6310 shall not transgress.5674

4 Concerning the works6468 of men,120 by the word1697 of your lips8193 I have kept8104 me from the paths734 of the destroyer.6530

5 Hold8551 up my goings838 in your paths,4570 that my footsteps6471 slip4131 not.

6 I have called7121 on you, for you will hear6030 me, O God:410 incline5186 your ear241 to me, and hear8085 my speech.565

1 Руководителю хора Словами этой песни обратился к ГОСПОДУ Давид, слуга ГОСПОДЕНЬ, в день, когда ГОСПОДЬ избавил его от всех врагов его и от руки Саула Таковы были слова его:

2 «Люблю Тебя, ГОСПОДИ, Ты — сила моя!

3 ГОСПОДЬ — скала моя, крепость моя, Избавитель мой. Бог мой — защита моя: в Нем прибежище мое, Он — щит мой, сила спасения моего и твердыня моя.

4 Воззову я ко ГОСПОДУ, Которого всем славить подобает, и от врагов моих буду спасен.

5 Узы смерти сковали меня, потоки гибельные в ужас меня повергли.

6 Верви могильные со всех сторон, смерти западня передо мной.

7 В беде своей я к ГОСПОДУ воззвал, к Богу моему возопил, и голос мой услышал Он из Храма Своего, и внял Он воплю моему.

8 Закачалась, затряслась земля, поколебались основания гор и задрожали, ибо гнев Его воспылал.

9 Ярость Его видимой стала: дым и огонь исходили от Него, сыпались угли горящие.

10 Наклонил Он небеса и сошел — мгла под ногами Его.

11 Воссел Он на херувима и полетел, понесся на крыльях ветра.

12 Мрак Он сделал покровом Своим, полог вокруг Него — густые тучи дождевые.

13 Из сияния, что перед Ним, плывут облака Его, град и молнии в них.

14 Возгремел ГОСПОДЬ громом на небесах, с градом и молниями глас Всевышнего прозвучал.

15 Пустил Он стрелы Свои и рассеял врагов Своих, множество молний — и в замешательство их привел.
