Psalm 97

1 THE LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

2 Clouds and darkness are round about him; righteousness and judgment are the foundation of his throne.

3 Fire goes before him, and burns up his enemies round about.

4 His lightnings enlightened the world; the earth saw, and trembled.

5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the LORD of the whole earth.

6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

7 Confounded are all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols; worship him, all his angels.

8 Zion heard and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.

9 For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth; thou art exalted far above all gods.

10 You who love the LORD, hate evil; he preserves the souls of his saints; he delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

11 Light shone for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

12 Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

1 耶和華作王。願地快樂。願眾海島歡喜。

2 密雲和幽暗在他的四圍；公義和公平是他寶座的所在［habitation］。

3 有烈火在他前頭行，燒滅他四圍的敵人。

4 他的閃電光照世界；大地看見便顫動［trembled］。

5 諸山見耶和華的面，就是全地之主的面，便熔化［melted］如蠟。

6 諸天表明他的公義；眾民看見他的榮耀。

7 願一切事奉雕刻的眾像［images］、靠虛無之偶像［idols］自誇的，盡都［all］抱愧［Confounded］；眾神哪，你們都當敬拜［worship］他。

8 耶和華啊，錫安聽見你的判斷就歡喜；猶大的眾女［daughters］也都快樂。

9 因為你─耶和華高過［high above］全地；你被尊崇，遠超眾神之上。

10 你們愛耶和華的，都當恨惡罪惡；他保護聖民的性命，搭救他們脫離惡人的手。

11 散布亮光是為義人；預備喜樂是為正直人。

12 你們義人當靠耶和華歡喜，稱謝他可記念的聖潔［holiness］。
