Глава 5

1 Сын1121 мой! внимай7181 мудрости2451 моей, и приклони5186 ухо241 твое к разуму8394 моему,

2 чтобы соблюсти8104 рассудительность,4209 и чтобы уста8193 твои сохранили5341 знание.1847

3 Ибо мед5317 источают5197 уста8193 чужой2114 жены, и мягче2509 елея8081 речь2441 ее;

4 но последствия319 от нее горьки,4751 как полынь,3939 остры,2299 как меч2719 обоюдоострый;6310

5 ноги7272 ее нисходят3381 к смерти,4194 стопы6806 ее достигают8551 преисподней.7585

6 Если бы ты захотел постигнуть6424 стезю734 жизни2416 ее, то пути4570 ее непостоянны,5128 и ты не узнаешь3045 их.

7 Итак, дети,1121 слушайте8085 меня и не отступайте5493 от слов561 уст6310 моих.

8 Держи7368 дальше7368 от нее путь1870 твой и не подходи7126 близко7126 к дверям6607 дома1004 ее,

9 чтобы здоровья1935 твоего не отдать5414 другим312 и лет8141 твоих мучителю;394

16 Пусть не разливаются6327 источники4599 твои по улице,2351 потоки6388 вод4325 — по площадям;7339

17 пусть они будут принадлежать тебе одному, а не чужим2114 с тобою.

18 Источник4726 твой да будет1288 благословен;1288 и утешайся8055 женою802 юности5271 твоей,

6 Lest6435 you should ponder6424 the path734 of life,2416 her ways4570 are moveable,5128 that you can not know3045 them.

8 Remove7368 your way1870 far7368 from her, and come7126 not near7126 the door6607 of her house:1004

9 Lest6435 you give5414 your honor1935 to others,312 and your years8141 to the cruel:394

15 Drink8354 waters4325 out of your own cistern,953 and running5140 waters out of your own well.875

16 Let your fountains4599 be dispersed6327 abroad,2351 and rivers6388 of waters4325 in the streets.7339

17 Let them be only905 your own, and not strangers'2114 with you.

18 Let your fountain4726 be blessed:1288 and rejoice8055 with the wife802 of your youth.5271

19 Let her be as the loving158 hind365 and pleasant2580 roe;3280 let her breasts1717 satisfy7301 you at all3605 times;6256 and be you ravished7686 always8548 with her love.160
