帖撒羅尼迦後書

第2章

1 論及吾主耶穌基督臨日、我衆集會歸之、

2 切求兄弟、勿輙動心驚怖、或爲神感、或聽人言、或展手書、似我所遺、言基督臨日伊邇、

3 悉勿爲人誘、基督未至、必有背厥信者、及當沉淪之惡人、先之而出、

4 彼惡人妄自尊崇、謂超於凡稱上帝、世所崇拜者、而敵之、入上帝殿、居上帝位、自以爲上帝、

5 我在爾中、嘗言之矣、爾不憶乎、

6 爾亦知有阻之者、然屆期必出、

7 其隱慝始萌、今有所阻、後無扞格、

8 當此時、惡人將出、主以辭氣滅之、俟厥昭臨、必淪胥以亡、

9 惡者之至、藉撒但力、其妙用異蹟奇事、無非偽爲、

10 詭詐百出、自棄者爲所惑、蓋彼不願受眞理致得救、

11 爲此、上帝任其大謬、信諸誑言、

12 使不信眞理、悅不義者、悉定厥罪、

13 兄弟乃主之所愛、我儕當爲爾恒謝上帝、自昔上帝簡爾、蒙神成聖、信諸眞理、是以得救、

14 亦以我福音召爾、得與吾主耶穌基督之榮、

15 吾教爾、或以口宣、或以書遺、兄弟當堅立固守之、

16 吾主耶穌基督、及吾父上帝、曾愛我儕、恒加慰藉、賜我儕托恩望福、

17 願主慰爾心、堅爾一切善言善行、

2 Thessalonians

Chapter 2

1 Now1161 we beseech2065 you, brothers,80 by the coming3952 of our Lord2962 Jesus2424 Christ,5547 and by our gathering1997 together1997 to him,

2 That you be not soon5030 shaken4531 in mind,3563 or3383 be troubled,2360 neither3383 by spirit,4151 nor3383 by word,3056 nor3383 by letter1992 as from us, as that the day2250 of Christ5547 is at1764 hand.1764

3 Let no3361 man5100 deceive1818 you by any3367 means:5158 for that day shall not come,2064 except3362 there come2064 a falling646 away646 first,4412 and that man444 of sin266 be revealed,601 the son5207 of perdition;684

4 Who3588 opposes480 and exalts5229 himself1438 above1909 all3956 that is called3004 God,2316 or2228 that is worshipped;4574 so5620 that he as God2316 sits2523 in the temple3485 of God,2316 showing584 himself1438 that he is God.2316

5 Remember3421 you not, that, when I was yet2089 with you, I told3004 you these5023 things?

6 And now3568 you know1492 what3588 withholds2722 that he might be revealed601 in his time.2540

7 For the mystery3466 of iniquity458 does already2235 work:1754 only3440 he who now737 lets2722 will let,2722 until2193 he be taken1096 out of the way.3319

8 And then5119 shall that Wicked459 be revealed,601 whom3739 the Lord2962 shall consume355 with the spirit4151 of his mouth,4750 and shall destroy2673 with the brightness2015 of his coming:3952

9 Even him, whose3739 coming3952 is after2596 the working1753 of Satan4567 with all3956 power1411 and signs4592 and lying5579 wonders,5059

10 And with all3956 delusion539 of unrighteousness93 in them that perish;622 because473 3739 they received1209 not the love26 of the truth,225 that they might be saved.4982

11 And for this5124 cause1223 God2316 shall send3992 them strong1753 delusion,4106 that they should believe4100 a lie:5579

12 That they all3956 might be damned2919 who3588 believed4100 not the truth,225 but had pleasure2106 in unrighteousness.93

13 But we are bound3784 to give thanks2168 always104 to God2316 for you, brothers80 beloved25 of the Lord,2962 because3754 God2316 has from the beginning746 chosen138 you to salvation4991 through1722 sanctification38 of the Spirit4151 and belief4102 of the truth:225

14 Whereunto1519 3739 he called2564 you by our gospel,2098 to the obtaining4047 of the glory1391 of our Lord2962 Jesus2424 Christ.5547

15 Therefore,686 3767 brothers,80 stand4739 fast, and hold2902 the traditions3862 which3739 you have2192 been taught,1321 whether1535 by word,3056 or1535 our letter.1992

16 Now1161 our Lord2962 Jesus2424 Christ5547 himself,846 and God,2316 even2532 our Father,3962 which3588 has loved25 us, and has given1325 us everlasting166 consolation3874 and good18 hope1680 through1722 grace,5485

17 Comfort3870 your5216 hearts,2588 and establish4741 you in every3956 good18 word3056 and work.2041
