以西結書

第14章

1 有幾個以色列長老到我這裏來，坐在我面前。

2 耶和華的話就臨到我說：

3 「人子啊，這些人已將他們的偶像［idols］立在［set up］心裏，把陷於罪的絆腳石放在面前，我豈能絲毫被他們求問嗎？

4 所以你要告訴他們：『主耶和華如此說：以色列家的人中，凡將他的偶像［idols］立在［setteth up］心裏，把陷於罪的絆腳石放在面前，又就了先知來的，我─耶和華必按他眾多的偶像回答他［I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols］，

5 好在以色列家的心事上捉住他們，因為他們都藉著偶像［idols］與我生疏。』

6 「所以你要告訴以色列家說：『主耶和華如此說：懊悔［Repent］吧。離開你們的偶像，轉臉莫從你們一切可憎的事。』

7 因為以色列家的人，或在以色列中寄居的外人，凡與我隔絕，將他的偶像［idols］立在［setteth up］心裏，把陷於罪的絆腳石放在面前，又就了先知來要為我的事求問他［to enquire of him concerning me］的，我─耶和華必親自回答他。

8 我必向那人變臉，使他成了警戒，俗談［and will make him a sign and a proverb］，並且我要將他從我民中剪除；你們就知道我是耶和華。

9 先知若被迷惑說了甚麼［spoken a thing］，是我─耶和華任那先知受迷惑，我也必向他伸手，將他從我民以色列中除滅。

10 他們必擔當自己罪孽的刑罰［punishment of their iniquity］。先知的刑罰［punishment］和求問之人的刑罰［punishment］都是一樣，

11 好使以色列家不再走迷離開我，不再因各樣的罪過玷污自己，只要作我的子民，我作他們的神。這是主耶和華說的。」

12 耶和華的話又［again］臨到我說：

13 「人子啊，若有一國大大［grievously］犯罪干犯我，我就［then］向這國［it］伸手折斷糧食的杖［staff of the bread］，使饑荒臨到那地，將人與牲畜從其中剪除；

14 其中雖有挪亞、但以理、約伯這三人，他們只能因他們的義救自己的性命。這是主耶和華說的。

15 我若使惡獸經過糟踐那地，使地荒涼，以致因這些獸，人都不得經過；

16 雖有這三人在其中，主耶和華說：我指著我的永生起誓，他們連兒帶女都不能得救，只能自己得救，那地仍然荒涼。

17 或者我使刀劍臨到那地，說：刀劍哪，要經過那地，以致我將人與牲畜從其中剪除；

18 雖有這三人在其中，主耶和華說：我指著我的永生起誓，他們連兒帶女都不能得救，只能自己得救。

19 或者我叫瘟疫流行那地，使我帶血［in blood］的烈怒［fury］傾在其上，好將人與牲畜從其中剪除；

20 雖有挪亞、但以理、約伯在其中，主耶和華說：我指著我的永生起誓，他們連兒帶女都不能救，只能因他們的義救自己的性命。」

21 主耶和華如此說：「我將這四樣大災─就是刀劍、饑荒、惡獸、瘟疫降在耶路撒冷，將人與牲畜從其中剪除，豈不更重嗎？

22 然而其中必見［behold］有剩下的人，他們連兒帶女必帶到你們這裏來，你們看見他們所行所為的，要因我降給耶路撒冷的一切災禍，便得了安慰。

23 你們看見他們所行所為的，得了安慰，就知道我在耶路撒冷中所行的並非無故。這是主耶和華說的。」

Chapter 14

1 Then came935 certain582 of the elders2205 of Israel3478 to me, and sat3427 before6440 me.

2 And the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to me, saying,559

3 Son1121 of man,120 these428 men582 have set5927 up their idols1544 in their heart,3820 and put5414 the stumbling block4383 of their iniquity5771 before5227 their face:6440 should I be inquired1875 of at all by them?

4 Therefore3651 speak1696 to them, and say559 to them, Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Every man376 of the house1004 of Israel3478 that sets5927 up his idols1544 in his heart,3820 and puts7760 the stumbling block4383 of his iniquity5771 before5227 his face,6440 and comes935 to the prophet;5030 I the LORD3068 will answer6030 him that comes935 according to the multitude7230 of his idols;1544

5 That I may take8610 the house1004 of Israel3478 in their own heart,3820 because834 they are all3605 estranged2114 from me through their idols.1544

6 Therefore3651 say559 to the house1004 of Israel,3478 Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Repent,7725 and turn7725 yourselves from your idols;1544 and turn7725 away your faces6440 from all3605 your abominations.8441

7 For every376 one376 of the house1004 of Israel,3478 or of the stranger1616 that sojournes1481 in Israel,3478 which separates5144 himself from me, and sets5927 up his idols1544 in his heart,3820 and puts7760 the stumbling block4383 of his iniquity5771 before5227 his face,6440 and comes935 to a prophet5030 to inquire1875 of him concerning me; I the LORD3068 will answer6030 him by myself:

8 And I will set5414 my face6440 against that man,376 and will make8074 him a sign226 and a proverb,4912 and I will cut3772 him off from the middle8432 of my people;5971 and you shall know3045 that I am the LORD.3068

9 And if3588 the prophet5030 be deceived6601 when3588 he has spoken1696 a thing,1697 I the LORD3068 have deceived6601 that prophet,5030 and I will stretch5186 out my hand3027 on him, and will destroy8045 him from the middle8432 of my people5971 Israel.3478

10 And they shall bear5375 the punishment5771 of their iniquity:5771 the punishment5771 of the prophet5030 shall be even as the punishment5771 of him that seeks1875 to him;

11 That the house1004 of Israel3478 may go8582 no3808 more5750 astray8582 from me, neither3808 be polluted2930 any3605 more5750 with all3605 their transgressions;6588 but that they may be my people,5971 and I may be their God,430 said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

12 The word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 again to me, saying,559

13 Son1121 of man,120 when3588 the land776 sins2398 against me by trespassing4603 grievously,4604 then will I stretch5186 out my hand3027 on it, and will break7665 the staff4294 of the bread3899 thereof, and will send7971 famine7458 on it, and will cut3772 off man120 and beast929 from it:

14 Though these428 three7969 men,582 Noah,5146 Daniel,1840 and Job,347 were in it, they should deliver5337 but their own souls5315 by their righteousness,6666 said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

15 If3863 I cause noisome7451 beasts2416 to pass5674 through the land,776 and they spoil7921 it, so3651 that it be desolate,8077 that no1097 man may pass5674 through because6440 of the beasts:2416

16 Though these428 three7969 men582 were in it, as I live,2416 said5002 the Lord136 GOD,3069 they shall deliver5337 neither518 sons1121 nor518 daughters;1323 they only905 shall be delivered,5337 but the land776 shall be desolate.8077

17 Or176 if I bring935 a sword2719 on that land,776 and say,559 Sword,2719 go5674 through the land;776 so3651 that I cut3772 off man120 and beast929 from it:

18 Though these428 three7969 men582 were in it, as I live,2416 said5002 the Lord136 GOD,3069 they shall deliver5337 neither3808 sons1121 nor daughters,1323 but they only905 shall be delivered5337 themselves.

19 Or176 if I send7971 a pestilence1698 into413 that land,776 and pour8210 out my fury2534 on it in blood,1818 to cut3772 off from it man120 and beast:929

20 Though Noah,5146 Daniel,1840 and Job 347were in it, as I live,2416 said5002 the Lord136 GOD,3069 they shall deliver5337 neither518 son1121 nor518 daughter;1323 they shall but deliver5337 their own souls5315 by their righteousness.6666

21 For thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 How637 much637 more5750 when3588 I send7971 my four702 sore7451 judgments8201 on Jerusalem,3389 the sword,2719 and the famine,7458 and the noisome7451 beast,2416 and the pestilence,1698 to cut3772 off from it man120 and beast?929

22 Yet, behold,2009 therein shall be left3498 a remnant6413 that shall be brought3318 forth,4163 both sons1121 and daughters:1323 behold,2009 they shall come3318 forth3318 to you, and you shall see7200 their way1870 and their doings:5949 and you shall be comforted5162 concerning5921 the evil7451 that I have brought935 on Jerusalem,3389 even concerning854 all3605 that I have brought935 on it.

23 And they shall comfort5162 you, when you see7200 their ways1870 and their doings:5949 and you shall know3045 that I have not done6213 without2600 cause2600 all3605 that I have done6213 in it, said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

3 Son1121 of man,120 these428 men582 have set5927 up their idols1544 in their heart,3820 and put5414 the stumbling block4383 of their iniquity5771 before5227 their face:6440 should I be inquired1875 of at all by them?

4 所以你要告訴他們：『主耶和華如此說：以色列家的人中，凡將他的偶像［idols］立在［setteth up］心裏，把陷於罪的絆腳石放在面前，又就了先知來的，我─耶和華必按他眾多的偶像回答他［I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols］，

4 Therefore3651 speak1696 to them, and say559 to them, Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Every man376 of the house1004 of Israel3478 that sets5927 up his idols1544 in his heart,3820 and puts7760 the stumbling block4383 of his iniquity5771 before5227 his face,6440 and comes935 to the prophet;5030 I the LORD3068 will answer6030 him that comes935 according to the multitude7230 of his idols;1544

7 因為以色列家的人，或在以色列中寄居的外人，凡與我隔絕，將他的偶像［idols］立在［setteth up］心裏，把陷於罪的絆腳石放在面前，又就了先知來要為我的事求問他［to enquire of him concerning me］的，我─耶和華必親自回答他。

7 For every376 one376 of the house1004 of Israel,3478 or of the stranger1616 that sojournes1481 in Israel,3478 which separates5144 himself from me, and sets5927 up his idols1544 in his heart,3820 and puts7760 the stumbling block4383 of his iniquity5771 before5227 his face,6440 and comes935 to a prophet5030 to inquire1875 of him concerning me; I the LORD3068 will answer6030 him by myself:

8 我必向那人變臉，使他成了警戒，俗談［and will make him a sign and a proverb］，並且我要將他從我民中剪除；你們就知道我是耶和華。

8 And I will set5414 my face6440 against that man,376 and will make8074 him a sign226 and a proverb,4912 and I will cut3772 him off from the middle8432 of my people;5971 and you shall know3045 that I am the LORD.3068

9 先知若被迷惑說了甚麼［spoken a thing］，是我─耶和華任那先知受迷惑，我也必向他伸手，將他從我民以色列中除滅。

9 And if3588 the prophet5030 be deceived6601 when3588 he has spoken1696 a thing,1697 I the LORD3068 have deceived6601 that prophet,5030 and I will stretch5186 out my hand3027 on him, and will destroy8045 him from the middle8432 of my people5971 Israel.3478

10 他們必擔當自己罪孽的刑罰［punishment of their iniquity］。先知的刑罰［punishment］和求問之人的刑罰［punishment］都是一樣，

10 And they shall bear5375 the punishment5771 of their iniquity:5771 the punishment5771 of the prophet5030 shall be even as the punishment5771 of him that seeks1875 to him;

11 好使以色列家不再走迷離開我，不再因各樣的罪過玷污自己，只要作我的子民，我作他們的神。這是主耶和華說的。」

11 That the house1004 of Israel3478 may go8582 no3808 more5750 astray8582 from me, neither3808 be polluted2930 any3605 more5750 with all3605 their transgressions;6588 but that they may be my people,5971 and I may be their God,430 said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

12 耶和華的話又［again］臨到我說：

12 The word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 again to me, saying,559

13 「人子啊，若有一國大大［grievously］犯罪干犯我，我就［then］向這國［it］伸手折斷糧食的杖［staff of the bread］，使饑荒臨到那地，將人與牲畜從其中剪除；

13 Son1121 of man,120 when3588 the land776 sins2398 against me by trespassing4603 grievously,4604 then will I stretch5186 out my hand3027 on it, and will break7665 the staff4294 of the bread3899 thereof, and will send7971 famine7458 on it, and will cut3772 off man120 and beast929 from it:

14 其中雖有挪亞、但以理、約伯這三人，他們只能因他們的義救自己的性命。這是主耶和華說的。

14 Though these428 three7969 men,582 Noah,5146 Daniel,1840 and Job,347 were in it, they should deliver5337 but their own souls5315 by their righteousness,6666 said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

15 我若使惡獸經過糟踐那地，使地荒涼，以致因這些獸，人都不得經過；

15 If3863 I cause noisome7451 beasts2416 to pass5674 through the land,776 and they spoil7921 it, so3651 that it be desolate,8077 that no1097 man may pass5674 through because6440 of the beasts:2416

16 雖有這三人在其中，主耶和華說：我指著我的永生起誓，他們連兒帶女都不能得救，只能自己得救，那地仍然荒涼。

22 然而其中必見［behold］有剩下的人，他們連兒帶女必帶到你們這裏來，你們看見他們所行所為的，要因我降給耶路撒冷的一切災禍，便得了安慰。
