以西結書

第16章

1 耶和華的話又臨到我說：

2 「人子啊，你要使耶路撒冷知道她那些可憎的事，

3 說主耶和華對耶路撒冷如此說：你根本，你出世，是在迦南地；你父親是亞摩利人，你母親是赫人。

4 論到你出世的景況，在你初生的日子沒有為你斷臍帶，也沒有用水洗你，使你柔嫩［supple］，絲毫沒有撒鹽在你身上，也沒有用布裹你。

5 誰的眼也不可憐你，為你作一件這樣的事憐恤你；但你初生的日子扔在田野，是因你被厭惡。

6 「我從你旁邊經過，見你在自己的［thine own］血中被染污［polluted］。我在你仍在自己血中的時候，就對你說：［I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood］仍可存活；就是我在你仍在自己血中的時候，我對你說：［I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood］仍可存活。

7 我使你生長好像田間所發的芽［bud］，你就長大成人［increased and waxen great］，以致極其俊美，兩乳成形，頭髮長成，雖然你［whereas thou］仍然赤身露體。

8 「我從你旁邊經過觀看你［looked upon thee］，見你到了正動愛情的時候［behold, thy time was the time of love］，便用衣襟搭在你身上，遮蓋你的赤體；又向你起誓，與你結盟，你就歸於我。這是主耶和華說的。

9 那時我用水洗你，洗淨你身上的血，又用油抹你。

10 我也使你身穿繡花衣服，腳穿獾皮［badgers' skins］鞋，並用細麻布給你束腰，用絲綢為衣披在你身上，

11 又用妝飾打扮你，將鐲子戴在你手上，將鏈子［chain］戴在你項上。

12 我也將妝飾［jewels］戴在你前額［forehead］上，將耳環戴在你耳朵上，將華冠戴在你頭上。

13 這樣，你就有金銀的妝飾，穿的是細麻衣和絲綢，並繡花衣；吃的是細麵、蜂蜜，並油。你也極其美貌，發大［great］到成為一國［into a kingdom］。

14 你美貌的名聲傳在異教民［heathen］中，你十分完全［perfect］，是因我加在你身上的俊美［comeliness］。這是主耶和華說的。

15 「只是你仗著自己的美貌，又因你的名聲就行邪淫。你縱情苟合［fornications］，使過路的任意而行。

16 你用衣服為自己在高處結彩，在其上行邪淫。這樣的事將來必沒有，也必不再行了。

17 你又將我所給你那華美的金銀、寶器為自己製造人像，與他們［them］犯了［did commit］邪淫；

18 又用你的繡花衣服給他們［them］披上，並將我的膏油和香料擺在他們［them］跟前；

19 又將我賜給你的食物，就是我賜給你吃的細麵、油，和蜂蜜，都擺在他們［them］跟前為馨香的供物。這是主耶和華說的。

20 並且你將給我所生的兒女焚獻給他們［them］。你行淫亂豈是小事［Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter］，

21 竟將我的兒女殺了［That thou hast slain my children］，使他們經火歸與他們［them］嗎？

22 你行這一切可憎和淫亂的事，並未追念你幼年赤身露體在自己的血中被染污［polluted in thy blood］的日子。」

23 「你行這一切惡事之後（主耶和華說：「你有禍了。有禍了。」）

24 又為自己建造圓頂花樓，在各街上作了高臺。

25 你在一切路［way］口上建造高臺，使你的美貌變為可憎的，又向［to］一切過路的張腿［opened thy feet］，多行淫亂。

26 你也和你鄰邦放縱肉體［flesh］的埃及人犯了姦淫［committed fornication］；加增你的淫亂，惹我發怒。

27 看哪［Behold］，因此我伸手攻擊你，減少你應用的糧食，又將你交給恨你的非利士眾女，使她們任意待你。她們見你的淫行，為你羞恥。

28 你因貪色無厭，又與亞述人行了淫婦所行的［played the whore］；與他們行淫之後，仍不滿意，

29 並且在迦南地［in the land of Canaan］多行淫亂，直到迦勒底［unto Chaldea］，你仍不滿意。

30 主耶和華說：你行這一切事，都是不知羞恥妓女所行的，可見你的心是何等懦弱。

31 因你在一切路［way］口上建造圓頂花樓，在各街上作了高臺，你卻藐視賞賜，不像妓女；

32 卻倒作姦淫的妻［But as a wife that committeth adultery］，寧肯接外人，不接丈夫。

33 凡淫婦［whores］是得人贈送，你反倒贈送你所愛的人，雇［hirest］他們從四圍來與你行淫。

34 你行淫與別的婦女相反，因為不是人從你姦淫［committed whoredoms］；你既贈送人，人並不贈送你；所以你與別的婦女相反。」

35 「所以［Wherefore］，妓女［harlot］啊，要聽耶和華的話；

36 主耶和華如此說：因你的污穢傾洩了，你與你所愛的行淫露出裸體［nakedness］，又因你拜一切可憎的偶像，流兒女的血獻給他，

37 所以看哪［Behold, therefore］，我就要將你一切相歡相愛的和你一切所恨的都聚集來，從四圍攻擊你；又將你的裸體［nakedness］露出，使他們看盡了。

38 我也要審判你，好像官長審判通姦［break wedlock］和流人血的婦女一樣。我因烈怒［fury］忌恨，使血［blood］歸到你身上。

39 我又要將你交在他們手中；他們必拆毀你的圓頂花樓，毀壞你的高臺，剝去你的衣服，奪取你的華美寶器，留下你赤身露體。

40 他們也必帶多人來攻擊你，用石頭打死你，用刀劍刺透你，

41 用火焚燒你的房屋，在許多婦人眼前向你施行審判。我必使你不再行淫，也不再贈送與人。

42 這樣，我就使我向你發的烈怒止息［make my fury toward thee to rest］，我的忌恨也要離開你，我要安靜不再惱怒。

43 因你不追念你幼年的日子，反倒［but］在這一切的事上向我發烈怒；所以看哪［behold, therefore］，我必照你所行的報應在你頭上，你就不再在一切可憎的事上犯這淫亂［shalt not commit this lewdness above all thine abominations］，這是主耶和華說的。」

44 「看哪［Behold］，凡說俗語的必用俗語攻擊你，說：『母親怎樣，女兒也怎樣。』

45 你正是你母親的女兒，厭棄丈夫和兒女；你正是你姊妹的姊妹，厭棄丈夫和兒女。你母親是赫人，你父親是亞摩利人。

46 你的姊姊是撒瑪利亞，她和她的眾女住在你左邊；你的妹妹是所多瑪，她和她的眾女住在你右邊。

47 你沒有效法他們的行為，也沒有照他們可憎的事去作，你以那為小事，你一切所行的倒比他們更壞。

48 主耶和華說：我指著我的永生起誓，你妹妹所多瑪與她的眾女尚未行你和你眾女所行的事。

49 看哪，你妹妹所多瑪的罪孽是這樣：她和她的眾女都心驕氣傲，糧食飽足，大享安逸，並沒有扶助困苦和窮乏人的手。

50 她們狂傲，在我面前犯了［committed］可憎的事，我看見便將她們除掉。

51 撒瑪利亞沒有犯你一半的罪，你行可憎的事比她更多，使你的姊妹因你所行一切可憎的事，倒顯為義。

52 你既是斷定你姊妹的［Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters］，就要擔當自己的羞辱；因你所犯的罪比她們更為可憎，她們就比你更顯為義；你既使你的姊妹顯為義，你就要抱愧擔當自己的羞辱。」

53 「在［When］我必叫她們被擄的歸回，就是叫所多瑪和她的眾女，撒瑪利亞和她的眾女的時候［When］，也叫［then will I bring again］你們中間被擄的都要歸回，

54 好使你擔當自己的羞辱，並因你一切所行的使她們得安慰，你就抱愧。

55 你的妹妹所多瑪和她的眾女必歸回原位；撒瑪利亞和她的眾女，你和你的眾女，也必歸回原位。

56 在你驕傲的日子，你的口就不提你的妹妹所多瑪。

57 你的惡行沒有顯露以先，那受了凌辱的敘利亞眾女和敘利亞四圍非利士的眾女都恨惡你，藐視你。

58 耶和華說：你淫亂［lewdness］和可憎的事，你已經擔當了。」

59 「主耶和華如此說：你這輕看誓言、背棄盟約的，我必照你所行的待你。

60 然而我要追念在你幼年時與你所立的約，也要與你立定永約。

61 你接待你姊姊和你妹妹的時候，你要追念你所行的，自覺慚愧；並且我要將她們賜你為女兒，卻不是按著前約。

62 我要堅定與你所立的約，你就知道我是耶和華，

63 好使你在我因你一切所行而發的忿怒止息［pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done］的時候，心裏追念，自覺抱愧，又因你的羞辱就不再開口。這是主耶和華說的。」

Ezekiel

Chapter 16

1 AGAIN the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, make known to Jerusalem her abominations,

3 And say, Thus says the LORD God to Jerusalem: Your root and your nativity is of the land of Canaan; your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite.

4 And as for the one who bore you, in the day you were born she did not cut your navel, neither did she wash you with water nor did she salt your body with salt nor wrap you in swaddling clothes at all.

5 Nor did her eye have pity upon you, to do any of these things to you and to have compassion upon you; but you were cast out in the open field, to the loathing of your person on the day that you were born.

6 And when I passed by you and saw you wallowing in your own blood, I said to you as you lay thus wallowing in your blood, Live,

7 And multiply like the grass of the field. And you have increased and grown great; then you went into the cities. Your breasts were formed and your hair had grown, but you were naked and bare.

8 Now when I passed by you and looked upon you, behold, you had reached the marriage age; and I spread my hand over you and covered your nakedness; yea, I swore to you and entered into a covenant with you, says the LORD God, and you became mine.

9 Then I bathed you with water, and I washed away your blood from you, and I anointed you with oil.

10 I clothed you also with embroidered clothes, and shod you with shoes; and I girded your loins with fine linen and clothed you with silk.

11 I decked you also with ornaments, and I put bracelets on your arms and a necklace on your neck.

12 And I put a jewel on your forehead and earrings in your ears and a beautiful crown on your head.

13 Thus you were decked with gold and gems, and you were clothed with fine linen and purple and embroidered cloth; and you ate fine flour and honey and oil; and you became exceedingly beautiful, and you grew prosperous among the kingdoms.

14 And your renown went forth among the Gentiles for your beauty, because of the beautiful crown of my glory which I put upon you, says the LORD God.

15 But you trusted in your own beauty and played the harlot because of your renown, and poured out your fornications on every one who passed by;

16 And you took some of my garments and decorated the high places for yourself, and played the harlot upon them; they shall not be brought back, neither shall they be yours.

17 You have also taken your costly jewels of gold and silver which I had given you, and made to yourself images of men, and committed whoredom with them;

18 And you took your embroidered garments and covered them; and you have set my oil and my incense before them.

19 And the food which I gave you, the fine flour and oil and honey with which I fed you, you have set before them for a sweet savor; says the LORD God.

20 Moreover you have taken your sons and your daughters, whom you had borne to me, and these you have sacrificed to them for food. These things you did besides your whoredoms,

21 That you have slaughtered my children, and offered them to the idols after you had been ravished by them.

22 And in all your abominations and your whoredoms you have not remembered the days of your youth, when you were naked and bare and lay wallowing in blood.

23 And after all your wickedness, woe, woe to you! says the LORD God;

24 You have built yourself a house of idols, and made yourself altars in every street.

25 You have built yourself small temples for idol worship at every head of the way, and defiled your beauty and exposed yourself to every one that passed by, and multiplied your fornications.

26 You have also played the harlot with the Egyptians your neighbors, who have large male organs; and you have multiplied your fornications, to provoke me to anger.

27 Behold, therefore I have stretched out my hand against you and have abolished your ordinances and delivered you into the hand of those who hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, who rebuked you because of your ways of whoredom.

28 You have played the whore also with the Assyrians, and yet you were not satisfied.

29 You have moreover multiplied your fornications in the land of Canaan and in Chaldea; and yet, even with them you were not satisfied.

30 How shall I judge you, O daughter, says the LORD God, seeing that you did all these things, the works of a whore and a rebellious woman?

31 In that you built your notorious shrines at the head of every way, and set your altars in every street; and yet you were not as clever as a harlot who charges a price;

32 And even not as clever as a whorish wife who takes a price from strangers.

33 Men pay a price to all harlots; but instead you pay a price to all your lovers and bribe them with your whoredom, that they may come to you from every side round about you.

34 So you are different from other women in your whoredoms, in that you pay others a price, and no one pays a price to you.

35 Therefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD;

36 Thus says the LORD God: Because you have practiced divination and exposed your nakedness through your whoredoms with your lovers, and because of all the idols of your abominations and the blood of your children which you offered to them;

37 Behold, therefore I will gather all your lovers with whom you have taken pleasure, and all those you have loved, with all those you have hated; I will even gather them against you from every side and will expose your nakedness in their presence, and they shall see all your nakedness.

38 And I will judge you with the judgment of an adulteress, and as those who shed blood are judged; and I will deliver you to slaughter and to fury and indignation.

39 And I will also deliver you into their hands, and shall demolish your brothels and tear down the houses of your idols; they shall strip you also of your clothes, and shall take your precious jewels and leave you naked and bare.

40 They shall also bring up multitudes of people against you, and they shall stone you with stones, and thrust you through with their swords.

41 And they shall burn you in the midst of fire, and execute judgments upon you in the sight of many women; and I will cause you to cease from playing the harlot, and you also shall give no hire to your lovers any more.

42 So will I make my wrath to rest upon you, and my indignation shall depart from you, and I will be quiet and will be no more angry.

43 Because you have not remembered the days of your youth, but have provoked me in all these things; behold, therefore I have also recompensed your evil ways upon your head, says the LORD God, because you have committed abomination and fornication.

44 Behold, every one who uses a proverb shall use this proverb against you, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.

45 You are your mother's daughter, who deserted her husband and her children; and you are the sister of women who deserted their husbands and their children; your mother was a Hittite and your father an Amorite.

46 And your elder sister is Samaria, who dwells at your left hand with her daughters; and your younger sister, who dwells at your right hand, is Sodom with her daughters.

47 Yet you have not walked according to their ways, nor done according to their abominations; but in a very little time you became more corrupt than they in all your ways.

48 As I live, says the LORD God, Sodom your sister and her daughters have not done as you and your daughters have done.

49 Behold, this is the iniquity of Sodom your proud sister: she and her daughters had abundant food and lived in tranquillity, but she did not help the poor and needy.

50 And they were haughty and committed evil before me; therefore when I saw these things in them I overthrew them.

51 Neither has Samaria committed half of your sins; but you have multiplied your abominations more than they and have outdone your sisters in all your abominations which you have committed.

52 You also shall endure the shame because you have outdone your sisters in your sins, and have polluted yourself more than they; they are more righteous than you; you must be confounded also and bear your shame, for your sisters are more righteous than you.

53 I will bring back their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters; then I will cause the captivity of your exiles to be carried among them,

54 That you may bear shame and be confounded in all that you have done to provoke my anger.

55 When your sister Sodom, with her daughters, shall be restored to their former state, and Samaria and her daughters shall be restored to their former state, then you and your daughters shall be restored to your former state.

56 For your sister Sodom was not a proverb in your mouth in the day of your pride,

57 Before your wickedness was exposed, as she was at the time of the reproach of the daughters of Edom, when all the daughters of the Philistines who were round about her used to despise her.

58 Now you bear your lewdness and your abominations, says the LORD God.

59 For thus says the LORD God: I will even deal with you as you have done, because you have despised my oaths and nullified my covenant.

60 Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish with you an everlasting covenant.

61 Then you shall remember your evil ways and be ashamed, when I take your sisters, the elder and the younger, and give them to you for daughters, but not because of your covenant.

62 And I will establish my covenant with you; and you shall know that I am the LORD,

63 Because you shall remember and be ashamed, and never open your mouth any more because of your shame, for I have forgiven you for all that you have done, says the LORD God.

9 Then I bathed you with water, and I washed away your blood from you, and I anointed you with oil.

13 Thus you were decked with gold and gems, and you were clothed with fine linen and purple and embroidered cloth; and you ate fine flour and honey and oil; and you became exceedingly beautiful, and you grew prosperous among the kingdoms.

14 你美貌的名聲傳在異教民［heathen］中，你十分完全［perfect］，是因我加在你身上的俊美［comeliness］。這是主耶和華說的。

14 And your renown went forth among the Gentiles for your beauty, because of the beautiful crown of my glory which I put upon you, says the LORD God.

15 「只是你仗著自己的美貌，又因你的名聲就行邪淫。你縱情苟合［fornications］，使過路的任意而行。

15 But you trusted in your own beauty and played the harlot because of your renown, and poured out your fornications on every one who passed by;

20 Moreover you have taken your sons and your daughters, whom you had borne to me, and these you have sacrificed to them for food. These things you did besides your whoredoms,

21 That you have slaughtered my children, and offered them to the idols after you had been ravished by them.

30 How shall I judge you, O daughter, says the LORD God, seeing that you did all these things, the works of a whore and a rebellious woman?

31 因你在一切路［way］口上建造圓頂花樓，在各街上作了高臺，你卻藐視賞賜，不像妓女；

31 In that you built your notorious shrines at the head of every way, and set your altars in every street; and yet you were not as clever as a harlot who charges a price;

32 卻倒作姦淫的妻［But as a wife that committeth adultery］，寧肯接外人，不接丈夫。

32 And even not as clever as a whorish wife who takes a price from strangers.

33 凡淫婦［whores］是得人贈送，你反倒贈送你所愛的人，雇［hirest］他們從四圍來與你行淫。

33 Men pay a price to all harlots; but instead you pay a price to all your lovers and bribe them with your whoredom, that they may come to you from every side round about you.

34 你行淫與別的婦女相反，因為不是人從你姦淫［committed whoredoms］；你既贈送人，人並不贈送你；所以你與別的婦女相反。」

34 So you are different from other women in your whoredoms, in that you pay others a price, and no one pays a price to you.

35 「所以［Wherefore］，妓女［harlot］啊，要聽耶和華的話；

35 Therefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD;

36 主耶和華如此說：因你的污穢傾洩了，你與你所愛的行淫露出裸體［nakedness］，又因你拜一切可憎的偶像，流兒女的血獻給他，

36 Thus says the LORD God: Because you have practiced divination and exposed your nakedness through your whoredoms with your lovers, and because of all the idols of your abominations and the blood of your children which you offered to them;

37 所以看哪［Behold, therefore］，我就要將你一切相歡相愛的和你一切所恨的都聚集來，從四圍攻擊你；又將你的裸體［nakedness］露出，使他們看盡了。

37 Behold, therefore I will gather all your lovers with whom you have taken pleasure, and all those you have loved, with all those you have hated; I will even gather them against you from every side and will expose your nakedness in their presence, and they shall see all your nakedness.

38 我也要審判你，好像官長審判通姦［break wedlock］和流人血的婦女一樣。我因烈怒［fury］忌恨，使血［blood］歸到你身上。

38 And I will judge you with the judgment of an adulteress, and as those who shed blood are judged; and I will deliver you to slaughter and to fury and indignation.

39 我又要將你交在他們手中；他們必拆毀你的圓頂花樓，毀壞你的高臺，剝去你的衣服，奪取你的華美寶器，留下你赤身露體。

39 And I will also deliver you into their hands, and shall demolish your brothels and tear down the houses of your idols; they shall strip you also of your clothes, and shall take your precious jewels and leave you naked and bare.

40 他們也必帶多人來攻擊你，用石頭打死你，用刀劍刺透你，

40 They shall also bring up multitudes of people against you, and they shall stone you with stones, and thrust you through with their swords.

41 用火焚燒你的房屋，在許多婦人眼前向你施行審判。我必使你不再行淫，也不再贈送與人。

41 And they shall burn you in the midst of fire, and execute judgments upon you in the sight of many women; and I will cause you to cease from playing the harlot, and you also shall give no hire to your lovers any more.

42 這樣，我就使我向你發的烈怒止息［make my fury toward thee to rest］，我的忌恨也要離開你，我要安靜不再惱怒。

42 So will I make my wrath to rest upon you, and my indignation shall depart from you, and I will be quiet and will be no more angry.

43 因你不追念你幼年的日子，反倒［but］在這一切的事上向我發烈怒；所以看哪［behold, therefore］，我必照你所行的報應在你頭上，你就不再在一切可憎的事上犯這淫亂［shalt not commit this lewdness above all thine abominations］，這是主耶和華說的。」

43 Because you have not remembered the days of your youth, but have provoked me in all these things; behold, therefore I have also recompensed your evil ways upon your head, says the LORD God, because you have committed abomination and fornication.

44 「看哪［Behold］，凡說俗語的必用俗語攻擊你，說：『母親怎樣，女兒也怎樣。』

44 Behold, every one who uses a proverb shall use this proverb against you, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.

45 你正是你母親的女兒，厭棄丈夫和兒女；你正是你姊妹的姊妹，厭棄丈夫和兒女。你母親是赫人，你父親是亞摩利人。

45 You are your mother's daughter, who deserted her husband and her children; and you are the sister of women who deserted their husbands and their children; your mother was a Hittite and your father an Amorite.

46 你的姊姊是撒瑪利亞，她和她的眾女住在你左邊；你的妹妹是所多瑪，她和她的眾女住在你右邊。

46 And your elder sister is Samaria, who dwells at your left hand with her daughters; and your younger sister, who dwells at your right hand, is Sodom with her daughters.

47 你沒有效法他們的行為，也沒有照他們可憎的事去作，你以那為小事，你一切所行的倒比他們更壞。

47 Yet you have not walked according to their ways, nor done according to their abominations; but in a very little time you became more corrupt than they in all your ways.

48 主耶和華說：我指著我的永生起誓，你妹妹所多瑪與她的眾女尚未行你和你眾女所行的事。

48 As I live, says the LORD God, Sodom your sister and her daughters have not done as you and your daughters have done.

49 看哪，你妹妹所多瑪的罪孽是這樣：她和她的眾女都心驕氣傲，糧食飽足，大享安逸，並沒有扶助困苦和窮乏人的手。

49 Behold, this is the iniquity of Sodom your proud sister: she and her daughters had abundant food and lived in tranquillity, but she did not help the poor and needy.

50 她們狂傲，在我面前犯了［committed］可憎的事，我看見便將她們除掉。

50 And they were haughty and committed evil before me; therefore when I saw these things in them I overthrew them.

51 撒瑪利亞沒有犯你一半的罪，你行可憎的事比她更多，使你的姊妹因你所行一切可憎的事，倒顯為義。

51 Neither has Samaria committed half of your sins; but you have multiplied your abominations more than they and have outdone your sisters in all your abominations which you have committed.

52 你既是斷定你姊妹的［Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters］，就要擔當自己的羞辱；因你所犯的罪比她們更為可憎，她們就比你更顯為義；你既使你的姊妹顯為義，你就要抱愧擔當自己的羞辱。」

52 You also shall endure the shame because you have outdone your sisters in your sins, and have polluted yourself more than they; they are more righteous than you; you must be confounded also and bear your shame, for your sisters are more righteous than you.

53 「在［When］我必叫她們被擄的歸回，就是叫所多瑪和她的眾女，撒瑪利亞和她的眾女的時候［When］，也叫［then will I bring again］你們中間被擄的都要歸回，

53 I will bring back their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters; then I will cause the captivity of your exiles to be carried among them,

54 好使你擔當自己的羞辱，並因你一切所行的使她們得安慰，你就抱愧。

54 That you may bear shame and be confounded in all that you have done to provoke my anger.

55 你的妹妹所多瑪和她的眾女必歸回原位；撒瑪利亞和她的眾女，你和你的眾女，也必歸回原位。

55 When your sister Sodom, with her daughters, shall be restored to their former state, and Samaria and her daughters shall be restored to their former state, then you and your daughters shall be restored to your former state.

56 在你驕傲的日子，你的口就不提你的妹妹所多瑪。

56 For your sister Sodom was not a proverb in your mouth in the day of your pride,

57 你的惡行沒有顯露以先，那受了凌辱的敘利亞眾女和敘利亞四圍非利士的眾女都恨惡你，藐視你。

57 Before your wickedness was exposed, as she was at the time of the reproach of the daughters of Edom, when all the daughters of the Philistines who were round about her used to despise her.

58 耶和華說：你淫亂［lewdness］和可憎的事，你已經擔當了。」

58 Now you bear your lewdness and your abominations, says the LORD God.

59 「主耶和華如此說：你這輕看誓言、背棄盟約的，我必照你所行的待你。

59 For thus says the LORD God: I will even deal with you as you have done, because you have despised my oaths and nullified my covenant.

60 然而我要追念在你幼年時與你所立的約，也要與你立定永約。

60 Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish with you an everlasting covenant.

61 你接待你姊姊和你妹妹的時候，你要追念你所行的，自覺慚愧；並且我要將她們賜你為女兒，卻不是按著前約。

61 Then you shall remember your evil ways and be ashamed, when I take your sisters, the elder and the younger, and give them to you for daughters, but not because of your covenant.

62 我要堅定與你所立的約，你就知道我是耶和華，

62 And I will establish my covenant with you; and you shall know that I am the LORD,

63 好使你在我因你一切所行而發的忿怒止息［pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done］的時候，心裏追念，自覺抱愧，又因你的羞辱就不再開口。這是主耶和華說的。」

63 Because you shall remember and be ashamed, and never open your mouth any more because of your shame, for I have forgiven you for all that you have done, says the LORD God.
