Psalm 73

1 A Psalm4210 of Asaph.623 Truly389 God430 is good2896 to Israel,3478 even to such as are of a clean1249 heart.3824

2 But as for me, my feet7272 were almost4592 gone;5186 my steps838 had well369 near4592 slipped.8210

3 For I was envious7065 at the foolish,1984 when I saw7200 the prosperity7965 of the wicked.7563

4 For there are no369 bands2784 in their death:4194 but their strength193 is firm.1277

5 They are not in trouble5999 as other men;582 neither3808 are they plagued5060 like5973 other men.120

6 Therefore pride1346 compasses6059 them about as a chain;6059 violence2555 covers5848 them as a garment.7897

7 Their eyes5869 stand3318 out with fatness:2459 they have more5674 than heart3824 could wish.4906

8 They are corrupt,4167 and speak1696 wickedly7451 concerning oppression:6233 they speak1696 loftily.4791

9 They set8371 their mouth6310 against the heavens,8064 and their tongue3956 walks1980 through the earth.776

10 Therefore3651 his people5971 return7725 here:1988 and waters4325 of a full4392 cup are wrung4680 out to them.

11 And they say,559 How349 does God410 know?3045 and is there knowledge1844 in the most5945 High?5945

12 Behold,2009 these428 are the ungodly,7563 who prosper7951 in the world;5769 they increase7685 in riches.2428

13 Truly389 I have cleansed2135 my heart3824 in vain,7385 and washed7364 my hands3709 in innocence.5356

14 For all3605 the day3117 long have I been1961 plagued,5060 and chastened8433 every morning.1242

15 If518 I say,559 I will speak5608 thus;3644 behold,2009 I should offend898 against the generation1755 of your children.1121

16 When I thought2803 to know3045 this,2063 it was too painful5999 for me;

18 Surely389 you did set7896 them in slippery2513 places: you cast5307 them down5307 into destruction.4876

19 How349 are they brought into desolation,8047 as in a moment!7281 they are utterly consumed8552 with terrors.1091

20 As a dream2472 when one wakes;6974 so, O Lord,136 when you wake,5782 you shall despise959 their image.6754

21 Thus3588 my heart3824 was grieved,2556 and I was pricked8150 in my reins.3629

22 So foolish1198 was I, and ignorant:3808 3045 I was as a beast929 before5973 you.

23 Nevertheless I am continually8548 with you: you have held270 me by my right3225 hand.3027

24 You shall guide5148 me with your counsel,6098 and afterward310 receive3947 me to glory.3519

1 Стих Асафа Боже, почему Ты отверг нас? И это навсегда? Почему гневом Ты пышешь на овец пажити Своей?

2 Вспомни о народе Твоем, который обрел Ты издревле и искупил, чтоб он был народом собственным Твоим, и о горе Сион вспомни, где Ты некогда обитал.

3 Приди и посмотри на развалины вечные — во Святилище враг всё разрушил.

4 Рык врагов Твоих раздавался в Храме Твоем, поставили они там в знак победы знамена свои.

5 И каждый из них на тех походил, кто топорами размахивает в чаще лесной.

6 Сокрушили они секирами и палицами своими все украшения резные.

7 Дотла сожгли враги Святилище Твое, осквернили место, где имя Твое пребывало.

8 «Полностью их подчиним», — говорили они себе и сожгли в земле нашей все места поклонения Богу.

9 Никакого знаменья пророческого для себя мы не видим, нет более пророков среди нас, и как долго это продлится, никто из нас не знает.

10 Доколе, Боже, притеснитель насмехаться будет и враг — хулить имя Твое?

11 Почему Ты назад отводишь руку, за пазухой держишь сильную руку Свою? Яви же силу Свою и уничтожь их.

12 Боже, Ты с древних времен Царь наш, спасительные дела на земле совершающий.

13 Силою Своей Ты море расступиться заставил и сокрушил в водах головы чудовищ.

14 Ты раздавил головы Левиафана, в пищу отдал его тварям пустыни.

15 Разверз Ты источники и потоки, реки, вечно текущие, иссушил.

16 День — Твой, и ночь — Твоя, Свет солнца и луны Тобою сотворен.

17 Пределы для земли Ты положил, Тобою созданы зима и лето.

18 Заметь же, ГОСПОДИ, враг ныне над Тобой насмехается, народ безбожный Твое имя хулит!

19 Израиль — горлицу Свою — не отдавай зверям хищным, о жизни бедных Своих не забывай совершенно.

20 Помни об обещаниях Завета Твоего! Все темные укрытия земли нашей полны притонов насилия.

21 Пусть же угнетенные не уйдут от Тебя в смущении! Да восхвалят бедные и униженные имя Твое!

22 Встань, Боже, вступись за дело Свое, вспомни о том, что целыми днями насмехаются безбожники над Тобой!

23 Не забудь о криках врагов Своих, о непрерывно несущихся возгласах тех, кто против Тебя восстает.
