Isaiah

Chapter 6

1 IN the year that King Uzziah died I saw the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled his temple.

2 And above him stood the seraphim; each one had six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he did fly.

3 And one called to another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory.

4 And the posts of the door shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.

5 Then I said, Woe is me, I am dismayed; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell among a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar;

7 And he touched my mouth and said to me, Lo, this has touched your lips; your iniquity is taken away, and your sins are forgiven.

8 And I heard the voice of the LORD, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

9 And he said to me, Go, and tell this people, You can hear indeed, but understand not; and you can see indeed, but do not perceive.

10 For the heart of this people is darkened and their ears are heavy and their eyes closed, so that they may not see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and be converted and be forgiven.

11 Then I said, How long, O LORD? And he said, Until the cities lie waste without inhabitants and the houses without men and the land be utterly desolate

12 And the LORD shall have cast off men far away and there shall be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.

13 And they that remain in it shall be a tenth, and again they shall be burned and shall be made like the terebinth or like an oak which is fallen from its stump. The holy seed is the source thereof.

2 Вокруг4605 Него стояли5975 Серафимы;8314 у каждого259 из них по шести8337 крыл:3671 двумя8147 закрывал3680 каждый лицо6440 свое, и двумя8147 закрывал3680 ноги7272 свои, и двумя8147 летал.5774

3 И взывали7121 они друг ко другу и говорили:559 Свят,6918 Свят,6918 Свят6918 Господь3068 Саваоф!6635 вся земля776 полна4393 славы3519 Его!

4 И поколебались5128 верхи520 врат5592 от гласа6963 восклицающих,7121 и дом1004 наполнился4390 курениями.6227

5 И сказал559 я: горе188 мне! погиб1820 я! ибо я человек376 с нечистыми2931 устами,8193 и живу3427 среди8432 народа5971 также с нечистыми2931 устами,8193 — и глаза5869 мои видели7200 Царя,4428 Господа3068 Саваофа.6635

6 Тогда прилетел5774 ко мне один259 из Серафимов,8314 и в руке3027 у него горящий уголь,7531 который он взял3947 клещами4457 с жертвенника,4196

7 и коснулся5060 уст6310 моих и сказал:559 вот, это коснулось5060 уст8193 твоих, и беззаконие5771 твое удалено5493 от тебя, и грех2403 твой очищен.3722

8 И услышал8085 я голос6963 Господа,136 говорящего:559 кого Мне послать?7971 и кто пойдет3212 для Нас? И я сказал:559 вот я, пошли7971 меня.

9 И сказал559 Он: пойди3212 и скажи559 этому народу:5971 слухом8085 услышите8085 — и не уразумеете,995 и очами7200 смотреть7200 будете7200 — и не увидите.3045

10 Ибо огрубело8080 сердце3820 народа5971 сего, и ушами241 с трудом3513 слышат, и очи5869 свои сомкнули,8173 да не узрят7200 очами,5869 и не услышат8085 ушами,241 и не уразумеют995 сердцем,3824 и не обратятся,7725 чтобы Я исцелил7495 их.

11 И сказал559 я: надолго ли, Господи?136 Он сказал:559 доколе не опустеют7582 города,5892 и останутся без жителей,3427 и домы1004 без людей,120 и доколе127 земля эта совсем8077 не опустеет.7582

12 И удалит7368 Господь3068 людей,120 и великое7227 запустение5805 будет на этой земле.776

13 И если еще останется десятая6224 часть на ней и возвратится,7725 и она опять будет1197 разорена;1197 но как от теревинфа424 и как от дуба,437 когда они и срублены,7995 остается корень4678 их, так святое6944 семя2233 будет корнем4678 ее.

10 Ибо огрубело8080 сердце3820 народа5971 сего, и ушами241 с трудом3513 слышат, и очи5869 свои сомкнули,8173 да не узрят7200 очами,5869 и не услышат8085 ушами,241 и не уразумеют995 сердцем,3824 и не обратятся,7725 чтобы Я исцелил7495 их.
