以西結書

第36章

1 「人子啊，你也［Also］要對以色列諸山［mountains］發預言說：以色列諸山［mountains］哪，要聽耶和華的話。

2 主耶和華如此說：因仇敵對你們［against you］說：『啊哈。連［even］這上古的高處［ancient high places］都歸我們為業了。』

3 所以要發預言說，主耶和華如此說：因為敵人使你們［you］荒涼，四圍吞吃你們［you］，好叫你們［ye］歸與其餘的異教之民［heathen］為業，並且多嘴多舌的人提起你來，百姓也說你有臭名。

4 故此，以色列諸山［mountains］要聽主耶和華的話；主耶和華［Lord GOD］對［to］大山小岡、溪流［rivers］山谷、荒廢之地、被棄之城，為四圍其餘異教之民［heathen］所佔據、所譏刺的如此說［Thus saith］：

5 主耶和華對你們如此說：我真發憤恨如火，責備那其餘異教之民［heathen］和以東的眾人。他們快樂滿懷，心存恨惡，將我的地歸自己為業，又看為被棄，好佔有為掠物［for a prey］。

6 所以，你要指著以色列地說預言，對大山小岡、溪水［rivers］山谷說，主耶和華如此說：看哪［Behold］，我發憤恨和烈怒［fury］說，因你們曾受異教的民［heathen］羞辱；

7 所以主耶和華如此說［thus saith the Lord GOD］：我已經起誓［I have lifted up mine hand］：在你們四圍的異教之民［heathen］，他們［they］總要擔當自己的羞辱。

8 「以色列諸山［mountains］哪，你們［ye］必發枝子［branches］，為我的民以色列結果子，因為他們快要來到。

9 看哪，我是幫助你們［you］的，也必向你們［you］轉意，使你們［ye］得以耕種。

10 我必使以色列全家的人數在你們［you］上面增多，城邑有人居住，荒場再被建造。

11 我必使人和牲畜在你們［you］上面加增；他們必生養增多［increase and bring fruit］。我要使你們［you］照舊有人居住，並要賜福與你們［you］比先前更多，你們［ye］就知道我是耶和華。

12 我必使人，就是我的民以色列，行在你們［you］上面。他們必得你為業，你就作他們的產業［and thou shalt be their inheritance］；你也不再使他們喪子。

13 主耶和華如此說：因為人對你們［you］說：『你這地［land］是吞吃人的，又使你［thy］國民喪子』，

14 所以主耶和華說：你必不再吞吃人，也不再使國民喪子。

15 我不再［Neither］使人［men］在你那裏［in thee］聽見異教之民［heathen］的羞辱，不再受眾民［the people］的辱罵，你［thou］也不再使你［thy］國民跌倒［fall］，這是主耶和華說的。」

16 耶和華的話又臨到我說：

17 「人子啊，以色列家住在本地的時候，在行動作為上玷污那地。他們的行為在我面前，好像正在經期的婦人那樣污穢。

18 所以我因他們在那地上流人的血，又因他們以偶像玷污那地，就把我的烈怒［fury］傾在他們身上。

19 我將他們分散在列國，四散在異教民中［among the heathen］；按他們的行動作為懲罰他們。

20 那時［when］，他們進到［entered into］所去的異教之民［heathen］，就使我的聖名被褻瀆，正是每當［when］人談論他們說：這是耶和華的民，是從耶和華的地出來的。

21 我卻顧惜我的聖名，就是以色列家在所到的異教民［heathen］中所褻瀆的。

22 「所以，你要對以色列家說，主耶和華如此說：以色列家啊，我行這事不是為你們，乃是為我聖名的緣故［holy name's sake］，就是在你們到的異教民［heathen］中所褻瀆的。

23 我要使我的大名顯為聖；這名在異教民［heathen］中已被褻瀆，就是你們在他們中間所褻瀆的；我在異教之民［heathen］眼前，在你們身上顯為聖的時候，他們就知道我是耶和華，這是主耶和華說的。

24 我必從各國收取你們，從異教民中［among the heathen］聚集你們，引領［bring］你們歸回本地。

25 那時［Then］，我必用清水灑在你們身上，你們就潔淨了。我要潔淨你們，使你們脫離一切的污穢，棄掉一切的偶像。

26 我也要賜給你們一個新心，將新靈放在你們裏面，又從你們的肉體中除掉石心，賜給你們肉心。

27 我必將我的靈放在你們裏面，使你們順從我的律例，謹守遵行我的典章。

28 你們必住在我所賜給你們列祖之地。你們要作我的子民，我要作你們的神。

29 我也［also］必救你們脫離一切的污穢，也必命五穀豐登，不使你們遭遇饑荒。

30 我必使樹木多結果子，田地多出土產，好叫你們不再因饑荒受異教的民［heathen］譏誚。

31 那時，你們必追想你們自己［own］的惡行和你們不善的作為，就因你們的罪孽和可憎的事厭惡自己。

32 主耶和華說：你們要知道，我這樣行不是為你們；以色列家啊，你們［your］當為自己的行為蒙羞抱愧［ashamed and confounded］。

33 「主耶和華如此說：在［In］我潔淨了［cleansed］你們，使你們脫離一切罪孽的日子，我也必使你們住在城邑［I will also cause you to dwell in the cities］，荒場再被建造。

34 過路的人雖看為荒廢之地，現今這荒廢之地仍得耕種。

35 他們必說：『這先前為荒廢之地，現在成如伊甸園；這荒廢淒涼、毀壞的城邑現在堅固有人居住。』

36 那時，在你們四圍其餘異教的民［heathen］必知道我─耶和華修造那毀壞之處，培植那荒廢之地；我─耶和華說過，也必成就。

37 「主耶和華如此說：我要加增以色列家的人數，多如羊群。他們必還要［yet］為這事向我求問，我要給他們成就。

38 耶路撒冷在守聖節［solemn feasts］為聖的［holy］羊群怎樣多，照樣，荒涼的城邑必被人群充滿。他們就知道我是耶和華。」

Chapter 36

1 ALSO, you Son of man, prophesy concerning the mountains of Israel, and say to the mountains of Israel, Hear the word of the LORD;

2 Thus says the LORD God: Because the enemy has said against you. Aha, the ancient high places are ours for a possession;

3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus says the LORD God: Because you have been reproached and made desolate and blasphemed from all those who are round about you; and you have become an inheritance to the rest of the nations, and you became the subject of gossip and of mocking among the nations;

4 Therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD God: Thus says the LORD God to the mountains and to the hills and to the streams and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are deserted, which became a prey and a mockery among the rest of the people round about;

5 Therefore, thus says the LORD God: Surely in the fire of my indignation have I spoken against the rest of the nations and against all Edom, because they partitioned my land to themselves for an inheritance; and with the joy of their heart they have reproached the people that they might carry them captive and plunder them.

6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel and say to the mountains and to the hills, to the streams and to the valleys, Thus says the LORD God: Behold, I have spoken in my indignation and in my fury, because you have borne the shame of the nations;

7 Therefore thus says the LORD God: I have lifted up my hand against the nations that are round about you, so that they may bear their shame.

8 But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your grass and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are ready to come.

9 For, behold, I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown;

10 And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited, and the ruined places shall be rebuilt.

11 And I will multiply upon you man and beast, and they shall be great and multiply; and I will settle you as in former days, and will do good to you as I did from the beginning; and you shall know that I am the LORD.

12 Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess you, and you shall be their inheritance, and you shall no longer bereave them of men.

13 Thus says the LORD God: Because they say to you, You are a land which devours her people and is bereaved of her inhabitants;

14 Therefore, from henceforth you shall devour men no more, neither shall you be bereaved of your people any more, says the LORD God.

15 Neither will I cause you to bear the shame of the nations any more, nor shall you bear the reproach of the people any more, nor shall you be bereaved of your people any more, says the LORD God.

16 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying.

17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their evil ways and by their doings; their way was before me like the uncleanness of a menstruous woman.

18 Wherefore I poured out my fury upon them for the blood which they had shed in the land and for the idols with which they had polluted it,

19 And I scattered them among the nations and dispersed them through the countries; according to their ways and according to their evil doings I judged them.

20 And when they went to live among the Gentiles, wherever they went, they profaned my holy name; and the Gentiles said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and now they are gone out of his land.

21 But I had pity for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the Gentiles, whither they went.

22 Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the LORD God: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am doing this; but for my holy name's sake, which you have profaned among the Gentiles, whither you went.

23 So that I may sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the Gentiles, which you have caused to be profaned among them; and the Gentiles shall know that I am the LORD, says the LORD God, when my name shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

24 For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all the countries and will bring you into your own land.

25 Then I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and I shall purify you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.

26 A new heart will I give you, a new spirit will I put within you; and I will remove the heart of stone out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my commandments, and you shall keep my judgments and do them.

28 And you shall dwell in the land which I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.

29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses; and I will call for the grain, and will increase it, and will not bring famine upon you.

30 And I will multiply the fruit of the trees and the produce of the field, that you may no more bear the reproach famine among the nations.

31 Then you shall remember your own evil ways and your contemptible doings, and you shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and abominations.

32 But you must know, it is not for your sake that I am doing these things, says the LORD God; now be ashamed and refrain from your evil ways, that you may not die, O house of Israel.

33 Thus says the LORD God: On the day that I shall cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will also cause the cities to be inhabited and the ruined places rebuilt.

34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, that was a desolation in the sight of all that passed by.

35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the ruined and demolished cities are now become fenced, and are inhabited.

36 Then the Gentiles that are left around about you shall know that I the LORD am rebuilding the mined cities and planting that which was desolate; I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.

37 Thus says the LORD God: Moreover in this shall I avenge the house of Israel, to do these things for them; and I will increase them with men like a flock.

38 As the holy flock, as the flock comes into Jerusalem at the time of her solemn feasts, so shall the ruined cities be filled with flocks of men; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

1 「人子啊，你也［Also］要對以色列諸山［mountains］發預言說：以色列諸山［mountains］哪，要聽耶和華的話。

1 ALSO, you Son of man, prophesy concerning the mountains of Israel, and say to the mountains of Israel, Hear the word of the LORD;

2 主耶和華如此說：因仇敵對你們［against you］說：『啊哈。連［even］這上古的高處［ancient high places］都歸我們為業了。』

2 Thus says the LORD God: Because the enemy has said against you. Aha, the ancient high places are ours for a possession;

3 所以要發預言說，主耶和華如此說：因為敵人使你們［you］荒涼，四圍吞吃你們［you］，好叫你們［ye］歸與其餘的異教之民［heathen］為業，並且多嘴多舌的人提起你來，百姓也說你有臭名。

3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus says the LORD God: Because you have been reproached and made desolate and blasphemed from all those who are round about you; and you have become an inheritance to the rest of the nations, and you became the subject of gossip and of mocking among the nations;

4 故此，以色列諸山［mountains］要聽主耶和華的話；主耶和華［Lord GOD］對［to］大山小岡、溪流［rivers］山谷、荒廢之地、被棄之城，為四圍其餘異教之民［heathen］所佔據、所譏刺的如此說［Thus saith］：

4 Therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD God: Thus says the LORD God to the mountains and to the hills and to the streams and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are deserted, which became a prey and a mockery among the rest of the people round about;

5 主耶和華對你們如此說：我真發憤恨如火，責備那其餘異教之民［heathen］和以東的眾人。他們快樂滿懷，心存恨惡，將我的地歸自己為業，又看為被棄，好佔有為掠物［for a prey］。

5 Therefore, thus says the LORD God: Surely in the fire of my indignation have I spoken against the rest of the nations and against all Edom, because they partitioned my land to themselves for an inheritance; and with the joy of their heart they have reproached the people that they might carry them captive and plunder them.

6 所以，你要指著以色列地說預言，對大山小岡、溪水［rivers］山谷說，主耶和華如此說：看哪［Behold］，我發憤恨和烈怒［fury］說，因你們曾受異教的民［heathen］羞辱；

6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel and say to the mountains and to the hills, to the streams and to the valleys, Thus says the LORD God: Behold, I have spoken in my indignation and in my fury, because you have borne the shame of the nations;

7 所以主耶和華如此說［thus saith the Lord GOD］：我已經起誓［I have lifted up mine hand］：在你們四圍的異教之民［heathen］，他們［they］總要擔當自己的羞辱。

7 Therefore thus says the LORD God: I have lifted up my hand against the nations that are round about you, so that they may bear their shame.

8 「以色列諸山［mountains］哪，你們［ye］必發枝子［branches］，為我的民以色列結果子，因為他們快要來到。

8 But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your grass and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are ready to come.

9 看哪，我是幫助你們［you］的，也必向你們［you］轉意，使你們［ye］得以耕種。

9 For, behold, I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown;

10 我必使以色列全家的人數在你們［you］上面增多，城邑有人居住，荒場再被建造。

10 And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited, and the ruined places shall be rebuilt.

11 我必使人和牲畜在你們［you］上面加增；他們必生養增多［increase and bring fruit］。我要使你們［you］照舊有人居住，並要賜福與你們［you］比先前更多，你們［ye］就知道我是耶和華。

11 And I will multiply upon you man and beast, and they shall be great and multiply; and I will settle you as in former days, and will do good to you as I did from the beginning; and you shall know that I am the LORD.

12 我必使人，就是我的民以色列，行在你們［you］上面。他們必得你為業，你就作他們的產業［and thou shalt be their inheritance］；你也不再使他們喪子。

12 Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess you, and you shall be their inheritance, and you shall no longer bereave them of men.

13 主耶和華如此說：因為人對你們［you］說：『你這地［land］是吞吃人的，又使你［thy］國民喪子』，

13 Thus says the LORD God: Because they say to you, You are a land which devours her people and is bereaved of her inhabitants;

14 所以主耶和華說：你必不再吞吃人，也不再使國民喪子。

14 Therefore, from henceforth you shall devour men no more, neither shall you be bereaved of your people any more, says the LORD God.

15 Neither will I cause you to bear the shame of the nations any more, nor shall you bear the reproach of the people any more, nor shall you be bereaved of your people any more, says the LORD God.

16 耶和華的話又臨到我說：

16 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying.

17 「人子啊，以色列家住在本地的時候，在行動作為上玷污那地。他們的行為在我面前，好像正在經期的婦人那樣污穢。

17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their evil ways and by their doings; their way was before me like the uncleanness of a menstruous woman.

18 所以我因他們在那地上流人的血，又因他們以偶像玷污那地，就把我的烈怒［fury］傾在他們身上。

18 Wherefore I poured out my fury upon them for the blood which they had shed in the land and for the idols with which they had polluted it,

19 我將他們分散在列國，四散在異教民中［among the heathen］；按他們的行動作為懲罰他們。

19 And I scattered them among the nations and dispersed them through the countries; according to their ways and according to their evil doings I judged them.

20 那時［when］，他們進到［entered into］所去的異教之民［heathen］，就使我的聖名被褻瀆，正是每當［when］人談論他們說：這是耶和華的民，是從耶和華的地出來的。

20 And when they went to live among the Gentiles, wherever they went, they profaned my holy name; and the Gentiles said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and now they are gone out of his land.

21 我卻顧惜我的聖名，就是以色列家在所到的異教民［heathen］中所褻瀆的。

21 But I had pity for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the Gentiles, whither they went.

22 「所以，你要對以色列家說，主耶和華如此說：以色列家啊，我行這事不是為你們，乃是為我聖名的緣故［holy name's sake］，就是在你們到的異教民［heathen］中所褻瀆的。

22 Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the LORD God: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am doing this; but for my holy name's sake, which you have profaned among the Gentiles, whither you went.

23 我要使我的大名顯為聖；這名在異教民［heathen］中已被褻瀆，就是你們在他們中間所褻瀆的；我在異教之民［heathen］眼前，在你們身上顯為聖的時候，他們就知道我是耶和華，這是主耶和華說的。

23 So that I may sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the Gentiles, which you have caused to be profaned among them; and the Gentiles shall know that I am the LORD, says the LORD God, when my name shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

24 我必從各國收取你們，從異教民中［among the heathen］聚集你們，引領［bring］你們歸回本地。

24 For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all the countries and will bring you into your own land.

25 那時［Then］，我必用清水灑在你們身上，你們就潔淨了。我要潔淨你們，使你們脫離一切的污穢，棄掉一切的偶像。

25 Then I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and I shall purify you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.

26 我也要賜給你們一個新心，將新靈放在你們裏面，又從你們的肉體中除掉石心，賜給你們肉心。

26 A new heart will I give you, a new spirit will I put within you; and I will remove the heart of stone out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

27 我必將我的靈放在你們裏面，使你們順從我的律例，謹守遵行我的典章。

27 And I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my commandments, and you shall keep my judgments and do them.

28 你們必住在我所賜給你們列祖之地。你們要作我的子民，我要作你們的神。

28 And you shall dwell in the land which I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.

29 我也［also］必救你們脫離一切的污穢，也必命五穀豐登，不使你們遭遇饑荒。

29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses; and I will call for the grain, and will increase it, and will not bring famine upon you.

30 我必使樹木多結果子，田地多出土產，好叫你們不再因饑荒受異教的民［heathen］譏誚。

30 And I will multiply the fruit of the trees and the produce of the field, that you may no more bear the reproach famine among the nations.

31 那時，你們必追想你們自己［own］的惡行和你們不善的作為，就因你們的罪孽和可憎的事厭惡自己。

31 Then you shall remember your own evil ways and your contemptible doings, and you shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and abominations.

32 主耶和華說：你們要知道，我這樣行不是為你們；以色列家啊，你們［your］當為自己的行為蒙羞抱愧［ashamed and confounded］。

32 But you must know, it is not for your sake that I am doing these things, says the LORD God; now be ashamed and refrain from your evil ways, that you may not die, O house of Israel.

33 「主耶和華如此說：在［In］我潔淨了［cleansed］你們，使你們脫離一切罪孽的日子，我也必使你們住在城邑［I will also cause you to dwell in the cities］，荒場再被建造。

33 Thus says the LORD God: On the day that I shall cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will also cause the cities to be inhabited and the ruined places rebuilt.

34 過路的人雖看為荒廢之地，現今這荒廢之地仍得耕種。

34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, that was a desolation in the sight of all that passed by.

35 他們必說：『這先前為荒廢之地，現在成如伊甸園；這荒廢淒涼、毀壞的城邑現在堅固有人居住。』

35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the ruined and demolished cities are now become fenced, and are inhabited.

36 那時，在你們四圍其餘異教的民［heathen］必知道我─耶和華修造那毀壞之處，培植那荒廢之地；我─耶和華說過，也必成就。

36 Then the Gentiles that are left around about you shall know that I the LORD am rebuilding the mined cities and planting that which was desolate; I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.

37 「主耶和華如此說：我要加增以色列家的人數，多如羊群。他們必還要［yet］為這事向我求問，我要給他們成就。

37 Thus says the LORD God: Moreover in this shall I avenge the house of Israel, to do these things for them; and I will increase them with men like a flock.

38 耶路撒冷在守聖節［solemn feasts］為聖的［holy］羊群怎樣多，照樣，荒涼的城邑必被人群充滿。他們就知道我是耶和華。」

38 As the holy flock, as the flock comes into Jerusalem at the time of her solemn feasts, so shall the ruined cities be filled with flocks of men; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
