Psalm 41

1 To the chief5329 Musician,5329 A Psalm4210 of David.1732 Blessed835 is he that considers7919 the poor:1800 the LORD3068 will deliver4422 him in time3117 of trouble.7451

2 The LORD3068 will preserve8104 him, and keep him alive;2421 and he shall be blessed833 on the earth:776 and you will not deliver5414 him to the will5315 of his enemies.341

3 The LORD3068 will strengthen5582 him on the bed6210 of languishing:1741 you will make2015 all3605 his bed4904 in his sickness.2483

4 I said,559 LORD,3068 be merciful2603 to me: heal7495 my soul;5315 for I have sinned2398 against you.

5 My enemies341 speak559 evil7451 of me, When4970 shall he die,4191 and his name8034 perish?6

6 And if518 he come935 to see7200 me, he speaks1696 vanity:7723 his heart3820 gathers6908 iniquity205 to itself; when he goes3318 abroad,2351 he tells1696 it.

7 All3605 that hate8130 me whisper3907 together3162 against5921 me: against5921 me do they devise2803 my hurt.7451

8 An evil1100 disease,1697 say they, sticks3332 fast to him: and now that he lies7901 he shall rise6965 up no3808 more.3254

9 Yes,1571 my own familiar7965 friend, in whom834 I trusted,982 which did eat398 of my bread,3899 has lifted1431 up his heel6119 against5921 me.

10 But you, O LORD,3068 be merciful2603 to me, and raise6965 me up, that I may requite7999 them.

11 By this2063 I know3045 that you favor2654 me, because3588 my enemy341 does not triumph7321 over5921 me.

12 And as for me, you uphold8551 me in my integrity,8537 and set5324 me before your face6440 for ever.5769

3 他病重在床［bed］，耶和華必堅固［strengthen］他；他在病中，你必給他鋪床。

4 我曾說：耶和華啊，求你憐恤我，醫治我。因為我得罪了你。

5 我的仇敵用惡言議論我說：他幾時死，他的名才滅亡呢？

6 他來看我就說假話；他心存奸惡，走到外邊才說出來。

7 一切恨我的，都竊竊私語地［whisper］議論我；他們設計要害我。

8 他們說：有怪病貼在他身上；他已躺臥，必不能再起來。

9 連我密友［familiar friend］，我所倚靠、吃過我餅［bread］的也用腳踢我。

10 至於你─［But thou］耶和華啊，求你憐恤我，使我起來，好報復他們。

11 因我的仇敵不得向我誇勝，我從此便知道你喜愛我。

12 至於我［And as for me］，你因我純正就扶持我，使我永遠站在你的面前。

13 耶和華─以色列的神是應當稱頌的，從恆古［everlasting］直到永遠。阿們。阿們。
