1 To the chief5329 Musician,5329 A Psalm4210 of David.1732 Blessed835 is he that considers7919 the poor:1800 the LORD3068 will deliver4422 him in time3117 of trouble.7451

2 The LORD3068 will preserve8104 him, and keep him alive;2421 and he shall be blessed833 on the earth:776 and you will not deliver5414 him to the will5315 of his enemies.341

3 The LORD3068 will strengthen5582 him on the bed6210 of languishing:1741 you will make2015 all3605 his bed4904 in his sickness.2483

4 I said,559 LORD,3068 be merciful2603 to me: heal7495 my soul;5315 for I have sinned2398 against you.

5 My enemies341 speak559 evil7451 of me, When4970 shall he die,4191 and his name8034 perish?6

6 And if518 he come935 to see7200 me, he speaks1696 vanity:7723 his heart3820 gathers6908 iniquity205 to itself; when he goes3318 abroad,2351 he tells1696 it.

5 Mine enemies speak evil of me: When shall he die, and his name perish?

6 When they come to see me, they speak falsely and their hearts devise evil; they go out into the street and gossip about me.

7 All that hate me whisper together about me; they devise evil against me.

8 They conceive unjust accusations against me; they say, Now that he lies sick in his bed, he shall rise up no more.

9 Yea, even the man who visits me, in whom I trust, who eats my bread and whom I trust, betrays me.

10 But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me and heal me, that I may repay them.

11 By this I know that thou art pleased with me, because mine enemy doth not irk me.

12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
